AI art is cool and all but it takes like 2 minutes in photoshop to clean up that picture and they didn't even bother to do it. Screams laziness.

The idea of AI "art" is to get slop up and running for a fraction of the price. Hiring someone to clean the shit with PS is counter productive, just get one of the overpaid talentless hack web "developer" to prompt some bs and call it a day.

Only a fricking moron would cheer at the idea of replacing human beings in art so the only activity they can pursue is waging for Mr Goldberg.

Dumbass, you aren't hiring ANOTHER GUY to clean up, but the AI Dept. Fricking idiot.

How is this alarming and for whom? We are in the infancy of this shit and they are trying to integrate it as much as possible. Art, translations, voice acting and god knows what else. Why should I care if instead of paying some moron from a first world country to work at something that he has no passion for when a computer does it at 100x the speed and for much less money?

They have so much cash and yet every thing they put out whatever it's marketing or games (see Starfield and Redfall) looks like it was made on a shoestring budget compared to their AAA competitors.

Wtf is going on at Microsoft?

The blog I work for replaced their writers earlier this year. Nothing bad has happened. It literally doesn't matter.

    >tech company uses cheap modern tech for an offhand social media survey
    Seriously?
    Here's a more egregious example
A fricking company that sells fashionable shades/prescription glasses used AI to generate photo shoots.
And they slap this gigantic poster beside the mall store with one of the photos zoomed in and it's so laughably low-res. It's doubly moronic because you're not actually showing the product being used by a model, just a false representation.
