I am currently 9 hours into this game, its insanely good. Cant believe I didnt get it as a kid because moronic game journos were saying its average, what the frick. This game is extremely good.

If you own Medieval 2 Total War, download the "Third Age: Divide and Conquer" mod. One of the best LOTR games ever made. Mod runs very smoothly and feels like a whole other game.
Why cant lord of the rings morons STFU about a stupid game. This franchise was beat served as a book and movies and thats it. The gamecube game was a pile of shit, the ps3 games were stupid as frick and everything else after that inclusing Gollum are just a fricking meme. Even the Amazon Prime series just fricked it all up.
