Less moronproof mechanics. They don’t really bring in new players because a non fg player will always hate them at the core for being 1v1 and requiring training. It just makes the players hate the game.
Even my friends who supposedly play fighting games, we always end up playing a couple times and I'll destroy them to the point that they never want to play again. I only ever make it to mid ranks in the games that I play so I guess people just really don't want to learn/practice, which kind of blows my mind because people will devote so much time to shooters. Just happened the other day, 8-0'd my friend who "loves tekken" and I knew that would be the last time we ever play, lol RIP. I have tried so hard to get people into fighting games and offered to teach them, but they seem to intimidate people more than any other genre.
in shooters you can see what's going on even if you dont play the game
in fighting games you just see someone get beat up
Ah, shut the frick up, Black person.
No!
Behold, your saviour
I'm more interested in garou2 but I'm fearful snk will put some gay mechanic in like the rest of these modern fighting games
they havent's in kof15 so that's reassuring (in fact they added a system mechanic that isn't that either)
this game doesn't really have a market
no leaguegays will stick around for it, they'll just go back to league, while vs fighter homies will drop it the second a new dbfz or capcom vs game comes out
the last group is the mythical "new players demographic" that will try this out as their first fighting game but sf6 already does a better job of that shit. hopefully project l as a game is okay though
Tag fighters aren’t even fighting games so no thanks. It’ll suck and even have a teammate to drag you down like in League.
>saviour
More like kills the genre forever go look at strive's community for a taste
>terrible character design
>terrible art direction
>2v2 cancer
>endless combos
nag homie this is going to bomb
forgotten by who? im still playing it and getting tons of matches
crossplay means years of fast matchmaking
I'm battle ruler on pc with cross play disabled and I'm getting matches every 10 seconds.
>How can they heal?
Nerf king
>doesnt have nuKuni
LMAO its like they wanted this shit to flop
Why hasn't anyone started selling Xbox copies for $30?
>An entire genre of games decides to pander to blacks and make them their core audience
>suddenly realize no one wants to play games with blacks and blacks don't pay for games that don't have 2k in the title
lol
The mass market appeal of fighting games is dead. You will never get the stink of cocobutter, menthol cigarettes, and chicken grease off of them.
>The mass market appeal of fighting games is dead
But what caused it in the 90s? Was it just the novelty?
It was casual and people played it casual. Tekken 3 one of the best selling fighting games were so popular because it was packed with a lot of stuff to do, you had fun unlocking the characters, playing the arcade mode and occasionally playing it casually with your friends.
Barely anyone played it dead seriously.
Nowadays every fighting game barely has any content at all, it's all balanced and catered to the small FGC that just wants e-sports bullshit. How come games now 20+ years later have less content than games released 20 years ago?
tekken 3 only sold well because of a massive marketing campaign from sony, SF2 out sold it and literally had none of that pointless shit and was made for competitive players.
>25 000 players on steam
>crossplay between all platforms
even that 25k is amazing for a fighting game. You are fricking moronic OP.
They need to add realistic effects like maiming and broken bones, preventing/limiting movement and corresponding moves as a result.
the last thing fighting games need is some kind of moronic snowball mechanic like MOBAs have
I WILL use wifi
I WILL spoof an Ethernet connection
I WILL use a VPN to ban evade
your precious frame data means NOTHING to me
It's $70 I ain't paying that shit for a fighting game
Fighting games didn't just die, they were MURDERED
fighting games are more popular than ever tho?
Everybody keeps saying this game has buttery smooth netcode but i keep getting matches with slow down and loads of delay on wired ps5, is it just PS5 that sucks?
>Everybody keeps saying this game has buttery smooth netcode
No one is saying that
Well every shill reviewer
Yes and xbox too but i get issues against ps players as well
do you crossplay with pc players?
It’s literally all anyone is talking about. Street fighter 6 on the other hand is beyond dead.
no one is talking about this game, and it got half SF6 launch numbers.
