No, their faces do like kind of weird, and you can see how badly they work with other expressions beyond their defaults in SFM/Blender stuff. The Dead or Alive girls have the same issue when their models get too detailed, because then they straddle some weird off-putting line between anime and realistic and it just doesn't work with the style. They approach Cloud like a couple of weird robots in this scene.

The perfect pore-less skin with the big eyes on such a detailed model is likely why it looks weird to some people. Nobody on the planet looks like that
