I didn't feel scared ONCE
The monster was more of an annoyance than actual scary.
Whoever decided to go the Alien Isolation route was moronic.
The monster is too fast and kills you too easily.
The game becomes a patience test as you're just having to hide for too long and lose too much progress easily if you get killed.
Other Amnesia games at least had slower monsters and you didn't die very often, because dying too much in a horror game just kills the atmosphere.
Also the story was very disappointing and predictable.
However I did like how you had multiple characters writing notes from their own perspective, and how the notes didn't come in order. Felt like fitting jigsaw pieces together about the timeline and figuring out all that happened. Any other games for this feel? Reminded me of Outer Wilds

The only thing it did better than Rebirth was that the protagonist didn't speak every 5 seconds to point out something obvious to the player.
