>finger check
Ok you're good. Carry on.
>Mire Maw
I would probably die of trenchfoot if Shrakk doesn't eat me first.
>Corvuria
Probably the most miserable experience on Earth
Why? I liked it back when they first got their tree. They can absolutely bully both Cannor and Escann.
>Would you suffer in the Anbennar country you are currently playing?
Question wasn't asking if the tree was good.
Oh right, I just ignored the OP like usual.
Wish there was a "we wuz" option for Corvuria to abandon all the vampire and peasant cattle angle and reunite with Ourdia and become a respectable nation in a sea of orcs, goblins and gnolls.
Thats ravenmarch
Ravenmarch still has vampires, and becomes cornites which is worse than vampires.
no content
Ourdia has half a tree's worth of content.
Last I played Ourdia, it just had a generic tree
ok and?
Because Dostanor is part of Escann which was saved by CORIN not ADEAN OR NERAT OR ANY OF THAT GAYBOY SHIT
Oh no, Corin "saved" Escann by "dueling" orcs all day and night while everyone disappeared into the ether from too many losses in honorable champion combat.
The whole corin thing is just propaganda just like the "honorable duels"
I thought that was a swamp. Maybe Dostanor should worship Leechfather.
That's Ourdia.
that's dostanor
>way back some gyppo c**ts sunk half the country
>orc raids
>local lord has absolute feudal right to frick or kill everyone in your family and you can't stop him best case scenario you get worked to death

Makes real life Transylvania look like a party
Which tag has the least amount of Black folk
Ummm, corinitechuds, our response???
Can't believe Agrados trooned out
Which tag do I play to doom the world to 10,000 years of darkness?
Corvuria, Azjakuma, BD
Playing as halfling adventurers in Escann, it’s fun thus far. Haven’t played in the region before so don’t really know about the later game.
What we need are adventurer spawnables in Sarhal. Imagine dominating Vyzemby as Small Countrymen, banning dog riding and forcing locals to grow tobacco, attend family parties and brew beer. The horror, the horror!
It starts like that and it ends with every sungle one of them perverted or destroyed in some horrifying manner. As is the nature of africa.
I love J. Conrad.
It's been a while, but I think the last country I was playing was Neckcliffe. I would say I'm a top-ten precenter. Born in the heart of the world, where constitutional monarchy restrains the nobles, estates are strong, and jobs are plentiful. Culture blossoms, while the wealth of the entire Halann flows towards my homeland.
I'm playing a Beepeck so not really. I'd just have to accept that halflings have been outbreeding the human population in several provinces so far and that I WILL have a halfling wife and no kids.
Which tag do I play to bring the world into 10000 years of light?
Jadd
Karashar
Obrtrol
Venail.
Dartaxâgerdim God-King route
What's the best goblin start for allclan? Railskulker?
Probably, with your central position you can expand in three or four directions at once and you are probably the second strongest start in the Serpentspine, after the Shattered Crown. Catching up in tech is easy as goblins.
Railskulker is the safest, being already established, but the ability of snotfinger and the one in the east to roam, vassalize others, do expeditions & then rape shattered crown & settle in ahmldir probably has a higher potential.
Also, two things important for allclan:
1-Edit the mod file to change the color, or you'll go blind
2-Start demonsterize before forming them, one of their first missions requires it
truedagger is pretty fun
>Would you suffer in the Anbennar country you are currently playing?
Whats the nicest place to live in Anbennar? My guess would be Anbenncost since they seem pretty chill egalitarian. or maybe Eborthil for island merchant with big navy trade money and security.
Isobelin has more opportunity.
honestly if I lived in Isobelin I would start up a brothel. just import some Harpies, Goblins, maybe a gnoll or two, and then just make cash from all the people who need to bust a nut in something that isn't a human or ruinborn
why was this mod made for eu4 and not tw warhammer
Because total war games after medieval 2 are unmoddable
because the developer wanted it to be successful and not stuck in totalslop abandonware
Because Kino
hrrrgh sex
Imagine living in Small country in the country side with your trad halfling wife...
anyone taller than 4ft gets purged there

Hmm what is sex tourism in the smallcountry like

Which dev do you hate the most
All the troony ones
The ones that use "it's a sandbox game" as an excuse to not make the mod better.
The troons and railroaders, especially the homosexual who made the Ynn "femboys"
Vel dracia whatever is a shit MT. It is not fun and mostly about author self-insert.
Which tag do I play to bring the world into 10,000 years of humanchads fricking elf and orc concubines?
Which tag do i play to have the greatest gooning session
Now that dust has settled, who was in the right?
>ya'll can't behave, locking the thread
what's the tl;dr? who came up with the new moronic trade map and why are the head honchos being so butthurt about feedback?
My only issue is Beepeck not feeding 2 of the nodes it borders
*3 actually, the entire Beepeck part is so unnatural looking
>new proposals do not consider points that we found out through two week private testing
show it then?
>we reached this proposal after a lot of tests and considerations
can we see it?
>if it is accepted, it basically resets all the work put before into proposal and brings us back to 0.
that's it then, he's just too arrogant to admit he made a dogshit rework? simple as
I think the worst aspect of the dev process is that people in power don't have to justify themselves even if you accept the idea that them having the ultimate say.
I'm not sure why it works like this.
I genuinely don't get why they even have a discord to discuss development they seem to actually hate player input. Frick even suggesting lore as insignificant as food and drink gets run through about 6 people before they accept it to put on the wikia. Just make it gameplay only discussion and leave it at that.
unironincally the cause is troons that infest every single large mod
In this case I think Brosur is right tbqh. Everything he says here
is pretty bang-on. basically if you enter the channel and are like HERE'S MY PROPOSAL FOR THE TRADE MAP GUISE :DDDD you're just doing pic related. Anyone can theorycraft and paint a map, that's the whole point of this fricking game. At some point you've gotta accept a map and move on to the next stage, everyone seems to like the proposed setup except for the ridiculous Beepeck node
The mod locking the channel on the other hand is a big ???? to me, there were basically 2 people acting like buttholes and that's it (one being snarky about it conflicting with the lorent rework or something, the other the yellowname who's always sarcastic and posts like he's on twitter)
No need to close the channel, better to just say "listen guys at this point we have a basis for the trade map, any further suggestions should be tweaks to that and explain why"
As Jay said earlier in the channel, it's just people wanting to change the trade nodes yet again to put their own stamp on the project anyway. It's just gonna get redone again in another few years with new people so who cares. Just get it done
Also I just noticed this. So yeah frick it, as long as they do this it looks good.
kek
Such as? Seems fine to me besides missing
this
it fricked up a lot more than the smallcountry trade node, that's just the most obvious and glaring frick-up
Elaborate
northern trade nodes are fricked, serpensthead especially, tags playing there already struggle with money, this fricks them up even more
I see, I would have put Bayvek in the Serpentshead node and reversed the trade flow, so Bjarnik, Celmador and Bayvek would compete while Bay of Chills would get trade from Olavlund and the Nrothern Pass, making both Grombar and Urviksten decent.
I hate the vic 3 canon so much bros
How the frick do I stop these Black folk from stealing my money?
Wrong pic
Kill them
where are you collecting?
Mother Sorrow, Bahar, Bulwar, Rahen, Tianlou
>all halflings are in 1 culture group now
why tho
They merged niglings with normal haflings?
The black ones are the real ones thoughever
Advisors you mean? Can't you target them by culture?
I'm pretty sure there's a reason culture groups exist.
>thoughever
shut the frick up you autist
>I'm pretty sure there's a reason culture groups exist.
Wdym
>shut the frick up
Nevah
The black ones are a subhalfling group thoughbeit.
Will this result in Vyzemby halflings being white or Cannorian halflings being black?
>Should I conquer Corvuria? Nah it'll take too long.
>Hmmm let's just ally them then they could be useful.
>Heh wouldn't it be funny if I randomly PU'd them or something?
>*literally PU them like 2 months after clicking the royal marriage button*
I am still in disbelief that this sequence of events actually happened.
Why do they rely so much on random people to make the majority of the content
troony and entitled devs

It's full of troons
Do any Halfling tag have a large and good missions tree? Tell me which one and I'll play it

NOOOO MY DWARFBROS WENT BANKRUPT
What the hell man...
Speaking of troons, has there been a non-trooned escann MT in the last year or two?
Something like elikhand, esthil and adenica.
What is the Serpent's Rot exactly and why doesn't it spread to the surface as well?
Seems to infect dwarves, orcs, goblins, kobolds regardless of species.
Isn't something related to Serpentsbloom?
Some sort of disease originating from a rotting corpse of some giant beast found in the deep serpentspine. Since there are individuals that have immunity to it, it's probably some kind of bacterial infection or virus rather than a fungus or a prion disease. The fungal bit is a red herring imo, the cavern it was found in was called Mycos Caurak but the fungus is only there because it's feeding off the giant decomposing corpse.
It doesn't spread to the surface at all, probably because its mode of transport was the dwarovar ventilation systems. It could be that the surface just doesn't have the right environment for it to thrive, like the wrong humidity levels in the air, or exposure to UV rays of the sun could harm it too much.
It isn't a magic phenomenon, you can guess that it's a curse and investigate down that route and nothing comes of it. Burning stuff doesn't actually help either, the pathogen is sensitive to heat but burning basically just slows the spread because all the hosts are dead. The actual solution is a medical cure derived from a fungus called "pristine fungus", supposedly it's found almost everywhere. In my headcanon this is just penicillin and you're inventing antibiotics.
>Seems to infect dwarves, orcs, goblins, kobolds regardless of species.
It's a blood disease, it "rots the blood" which causes all kinds of havoc to the internal organs, they all have blood so it works I guess.
Hmmm then the mechanics and the lore of it don't much align.
I just had a huge war in the Northern Serpentspine where I sent my human armies through the tunnels just as the Serpent's Rot started spreading and they were all just fine with no concern of catching or spreading this apparently apocalyptic disease, while the orcs and my dwarves were utterly devastated.
Yeah, I think the Serpent's Rot province modifiers should reduce local supply limit, raising attrition for troops in the province. Devastation does that but it's a really weak effect
Tag where i can be a chud?
Aelnar (more of a chudette crystal mommy but close enough)
im playing her campaign rn and ive ran out of ruinborn to farm, i forgot to put a couple of provinces in camps...
Fricking Bulwar hugbox, hurry up and get 9/11'ed so I don't have to fight you all at once
Holy shit the gnomes are so fricking strong in combat wtf
>he waited for tech 16 to end the Gnomish gmenace
the main problem with the cannor trade rework process (not the proposal itself) is that they're basing all the data off pretty much exclusively AI only games, as though that particularly matters.
Yes it can be used as a baseline, but the way the trade changes incentivises certain behaviours and how players intuit how they should play from the trade node setup should be a massive consideration that they're seemingly ignoring in favour of making sure 4 specific nodes are within 25 ducats of total value of each by 1821
they should make it so Ovdal Tungr gets colonial trade. colonial dwarf hold let's go
Ruby hold's mission tree will be based around getting a port from the empire to colonize and making Lorent their shabbos goy again.
>spend centuries cultivating the Lorentish kingdom to be your perfect vassal
>some knife-ears arrive and immediately undo all your work
I'd make a path where you LET THE VENGEANCE BEGIN and purge the Redglades (and possibly Venail) and make Lorent into a special vassal a la Verkal Ozovar
>just recemix with the humans bro
>what could possibly go wrong

Time to make it so that Lorent never happened in EU4.
Why is the phoenix empires map color so ugly.
the colors are based on EU4
I think it translates badly. Looks like eu4 terra incognita.
That herniated phoenix empire chode spreading over dostanor really makes you realize how badly made the geography of anbennar.
what, do you not love chokepoints between regions and 180 degree bend mountain ranges?
How do I make the elector c**ts vote in favor of centralizing the empire?
Have you tried asking?
Yeah they told me to go frick myself.
1 vote for 41 against.
have you tried not sucking wiener?
Real there's only 41 wieners to suck it looks like. You could get that done in an afternoon.
be big, be same culture group as them, improve relations, have high legitimacy and prestige, have high diplorep, do not be overextended, pass the reform with higher IA than what you need
I wish this mod was a private development so it can progress faster
If you become a content reviewer or lead you can expedite the process.
Yeah no shit Black person
If it was then that would mean only its creator could work on it and he has an actual job, so nothing would get done.
I was thinking more of purging the troons and railroaders, and closing off for new members. At this point the mod has too many fricking people voicing their opinion.
Right so you want you and your people to take over this guy's mod and run it how you want to. Why not just make a branch or submod or something with your own team. That's what happens with CK2 and HOI4 mods and they are usually pretty successful. I mean it's not like you can just take over this guy's mod completely.
Who fricking said about taking over, i still respect jay and his mod. But the other gays in his team are making it worse
How is purging the devs you don't like and stopping people you don't like from joining now taking over?
By not working on the mod? saying i don't like a certain group of people in the team, doesn't mean i want to work on this mod
So you don't want to contribute anything. You just want to control who does contribute. There's devs in there I don't like and tags I don't like, but I'm not narcissistic enough to think that I know enough to decide who gets to do what. I just don't play their content because there's a frickload of content to play.
You sound like a gay
You're right, I would frick you, b***h.
okay troon dev
Anbennaredux when?
Cannor will never be unlocked
Has any MT been done in like the last 4 months
I sometimes check up on the bitbucket but haven't seen anything unless I missed something
Miremaw and the ynn homosexual nation
Miremaw is done? Or is it something gay like "starter tree" or something
idk, i don't play in the serpentspine
Good morning sirs
the funny thing is if potions that could magically, biologically turn men into women existed trannies wouldn't take them because they get off on forcing people to call what is obviously a eunuch LARPing as a femoid "she"
The final mission lets you turn your ruler into an immortal kobold, a genderswap potion sounds a lot simpler than that. Why wouldn't it exist?
>The final mission lets you turn your ruler into an immortal kobold,
Why is this a thing
Its one of multiple options you can chooce. You drink some potion with dragon blood and its a side effect.
reddit incarnate
Gender swap potion isn't that bad, there are worse things they try insert than that
If they weren't all troons a gender swap potion wouldn't be seen as a bad thing at all really
But they are troons so it's obvious why they like it
imagine your kingdom gets conquered by orcs and they make you drink the troon potion so they can marry you for legitimacy haha
>fantasy settings are known for "magical realm" fetish shit
>first thing the trannies always do when they hijack a setting is try to introduce gender swap magic/potions
hm
not a fetish btw
>kings that looks like a woman and fricks your wife
this is definitvely some dudes magical realm isn't it? actually now that I think about it the capital province is a literal magical realm...
that looks like a woman and fricks your wife
Holy based, I need to go play as Ynn ASAP
What the frick is this
overextension
Ok, where's the "core" button?
Ohhh, the Rending? Yeah, no, you're in trouble. This is the shit that canonically killed the Command.
> you're in trouble
Really? I didn't notice that. What am I supposed to do?
Spirit rending?
Fricking lol. Looks like they created something for the chad world conquest players to deal with when they got to Asia. Very funny to me.
That's shit is impossible to deal with on WC because you have to core everything and enact state edicts. It's only "fun" if you are in haless and sit on your ass doing nothing
>how will the players know the people are not-asians
>i know, add the chinky straw hat!
bet the homies in Haless greet you with ching chong
I wonder how many devs browse the threads
some come here to seethe when they get denied by the top trannies, or used to at least
I know the orbtroll/gerudaghot guy did.
me, I do
most fun nation to play? i was thinking of command or company of the thorn, anything else?
I'm not more qualified to tell you what to play than anyone else, I only did some dev work a few years ago and I don't really know what's going on in there now. I'll occasionally seethe about how things changed and now you have to go through tons of bullshit for a chance to get anything in the mod
boring answer honestly, frick someone pick for me already
Idk man, what kind of gameplay do you want?
The Command is quite well crafted I'd say and pretty fun, solid choice. There's also Bianfang nearby that's quite similar, but human. That's if you want blobbing gameplay
Company of the Thorn is one of those newer meme trees which apparently sucks, but I only heard from one other guy, so if you decide to play it do share how it goes with us
Luciande is a meme tag
today I was playing in the Serpentspine and honestly Duran and the Mithril-cartel were doing the weirdest shit ever like the mithril guys were almost all the way over in the caves above the Serpentspine and Duran just kept going back and forth and back and forth. I am pretty sure Khugdir also left the mountains for like 20 years I dead ass could not see them anywhere and then they just returned from what I assume must have been a wild expedition into Escann
JayBean here, what kind of racemixing would you like to see more in the mod?
please add tieflings, how is this even a real dnd setting if there are no horny, pastel colored bawds with tails?
can Ruinborn mix with humans? Humans and Elves can make half-elves and since Ruinborn used to be elves they should be able to do it too.
Bulwari men being bred by female gnoll pseudo wieners.
It's more like a extended vegana you can frick. Is that what you want?
Gray orcs that migrate to the plains and ride their centaur waifus into battle.
Dwarves/Halflings/Gnomes not being compatible with humans feels very odd when they're literally just tiny humans.
Chromosome difference
It's a genetic thing, they don't have a common lineage.
it goes like
(something, maybe the mythical winged humanoid Avariel) -> Harpies/Precursor Elves
Precursor Elves -> Orcs/all modern Elves/Ruinborn
The exact origin of humans is unknown, but it's likely they also descend from the common ancestor given they can breed with all of the above.
Meanwhile halflings are totally incompatible with all of those. They originated in Sarhal, some of them migrated north and became white in the less sunny region (ancestors to modern Cannorian halflings), some of those halflings found themselves in damestear-heavy areas of the Dragon Coast and over time somehow mutated into Gnomes. Who are basically just the elves of Halflings if you think about it.
In-game compatibility is based on bearing children anyway. normally gnomes and halflings should be able to give birth to mules for example, but EU4 doesn't support that kind of thing. I'm sure they can all frick each other just fine, it just won't amount to anything.
>It's a genetic thing, they don't have a common lineage.
If they're totally unrelated to humans then why are they literally just tiny humans? This is just bad lore. But even if you accept that, the lineage argument still doesn't make sense because goblins and hobgoblins are also compatible with orcs/elves/ruinborn/humans.
>then why are they literally just tiny humans?
Pedo god
It's a fantasy world
>fantasy means massive cohincidences can exist for no reason
Humans, Giants, Halflings, Dwarfs should share a common ancestor. No logic, I just think they should because they look similar.
Giants look nothing like dwarves and haflings
What did the original giants look like? The ones that the steppe ogres ate?
uhhhh it's like carcinization but it makes you into a human instead of a crab
Because Jay isn't creative in the slightest, and he doesn't want any changes from when he first thought it up in 2018
They are basically saying tiny black humans cannot mate with tiny white humans
we need more forbidden romances between dorfs and orcs
what was the most dissapointing tag you played?
Busilar.
Cyranvar. Expected some cool shit but nope, its just just clicking the dev button til you finish the tree.
You need to stop playing the game like a visual novel. I had a lot of fun with their bullshit elven nonsense. Stayed in my forest, created an orcish vassal that ringed the outside of the forest and would help conflicts I wanted to influence with my bullshit discipline armies. Was a lot of fun. It's apparently gotten more interesting that now that they can travel the forest to Eordand as well now.
I wanna give the mod a go. I want to be the Sea israelites of this world, much like Venice or the Netherlands. What are the best countries poised to take control of the best trade ports and strategic water ways?
Also, are there any canal projects that you can build?
Canal and similar projects all over the place. No good sea israelites yet. Plenty of sea focused nations but none that really give you that ridiculous Venice or Netherlands feeling from vanilla. The big trade nodes are essentially part of the HRE so you gotta play in it if you want them and colonising isn't anywhere near as strong as vanilla because there's already people over there.
Eborthil is peak "you can't touch me I have a navy"
Anbenncost and Nimmscodd are good too. Venail is like that too but becomes a regular country once they migrate
>Also, are there any canal projects that you can build?
I think there was supposed to be one in south sarhal, don't know if it's there. And the Lake Fed has one (or two?) Aside from that all the other "canals" aren't really canals, like the Marrhold Tunnel. there isn't really anywhere a canal makes sense besides that one thin strip in far south Sarhal
>Playing chill mp with 3 others
>Gnomish hierarchy (me), black demesne, Jadd and Eborthil controlled by players
>Spend my time colonizing in the name of globogommo, eating lorent and getting into naval/colonial conflicts with Eborthil
>More meme-ing and light hearted roleplay than competitive mp
>Get to late 1600's
>Chillaxing with all my artificer thingymajiggs, watchamacallits, doohickeys and thingamabobs
>Full steampunk at this point
>Huh what's those units walking through Gawed
>Black Demesne eating the country and massing at the passes to the Dragon coast
?si=VsIpK8t1LmQAni_m
BD players can be fun in MP if they don't go hogwild from the start and instead set themselves up as an endgame boss. It took us decades and boatloads of gnomish guns, eborthili marines and Phoenix legionaries to get to the phylactery
I need a vid of this
Don't have a vid but I can give a TLDR:
>NOOOOOOOO NOT MY GNOMERINOS HELP EBORTHIL HELP JADD
>Battles over the pass fortifications last well over 6 months, reinforcements get brought into the dragon coast from the hierarchy's vast overseas empire
>Most of the EoA had already fallen before this war
>Jadd tries to fight north through what used to be corvuria
>Eborthil lands armies by Annbencost
>Both ventures fail but take some stress off of my defenses
>Zombies march on the gnomes again after eborthil is kicked out of the magisterium island
>At this time, every bit of hierarchy land that isnt behind the dragon coast forts is veritably on fire
>Jadd and Eborthili armies start massing in Hierarchy lands
>Gigantic coalition armada, thousands of ships carrying hundreds of thousands of troops
>Land that shit in Urviksten, hoping to secure the woods between the coast and the serpentspine. Plan was to take pressure off of me and bring the war's main front closer to the phylactery
>Enter a years long back-and-forth between Escann and the north
>After 32 years of total war, the evil is finally defeated, the campaign comes to an end and we all go to bed drunk as frick.
War of the Sorcerer King 2
Is there no way to convert religion in anbennar? I'am playing in Ynn and really want to adopt that thunderbird religion from the natives, 20% shock 7.5% movespeed is just too good to pass up
Yeah there's loads of cool religions the natives have but I have no idea how to get them or if it's worth it even if you can.
I'am burnt out of playing in escann and not-china, what are the recomendations for the new continents?
>Ynn reformation, what do you get out of it?
>Are any natives like the bloodforest ones worth playing?
>Blue elves in the extreme south or the nearby humans?
Any insight about this will be welcome
>>Are any natives like the bloodforest ones worth playing?
They are called Kwineh and the religion is weeping mother, and no, they are not worth playing. They are one of those unfinished tags that are supposed to be something cool in the future but now they are very barebones. Imagine playing vanilla natives but without any religious flavor and not even acess to the federation mechanic, thats how bad it is. Stay away
the south Aelantir natives.
why do corinites even think corin leads the pantheon when she's literally the reincarnation of halann's satan
because she actually saved the world from the greentide while the rest of the Regent court sat on their asses thus redeeming Agrados and making herself worthy of becoming the leader once Castellos was proclaimed dead.
some random schizo in aelntir saying castellos is dead isn't proof
then how come everyone who follows the regent court stopped worshipping Castellos? they clearly did not argue against it
Because Jay is a Kojima-tier hack.
Because jaybean is a moron
Dalcabba is the Cannorian man's religion.
>immediately starts a war in heaven
>her religion is a hypocritical mess that's by design made to prime the waters for demon worship whenever the infernal court gets reworked and at the very best worshipping some precursor elf who trapped themselves in a cube and at worst worshipping the elf who created orcs and nuked Aelantir
>saved the world from the greentide
The people at Rottenstep did, she just died there.
The greentide? You mean the duelling tournament? Impressive but hardly worthy of godhood.
She then chimps out and tries to steal the throne and her blood rain causes the age of witch kings.
the new sun cult is the thinking mans religion.
What does the last Boek totem do? You need to lose almost all your territory to get it, so i suppose it must be powerful. Its called End of All Things, so i'am worried it will just wipe the entire map like the end of all things from the Stellaris crisis. Anyone know?
Lategame combat is so fricking cancer
There's a reason nobody actually plays EU4 games to 1821
It's 10x worse in Anbennar cause all the numbers are so inflated so at any time the enemy is attacking you with 20 armies on every accessible front simultaneously because they're AI so you have to play on speed 3 to micro everything or get fricking swarmed.
The AI also cheats like a motherfricker.
IT regularly ignores fort control zones, plays with FOW off so it always knows exactly how many soldiers you've got anywhere, takes heavily reduced attrition so it's always running around with stacks bigger than the supply limit that would burn through your manpower if you tried to replicate.
The way the Ai ignores fort control is hilarious. If they can trace a path to a province without being blocked by a fort, then they can take any path to that province. Even if they would normally have to go around an entire continent. The only way to avoid it is to completely seal off any access.
The AI obeys the exact same rules on forts as the player, the rules are just very unintuitive so it's easy to confuse the stupid jank for being cheats.
The only military cheats the AI actually has (on normal difficulty) is that they can see through FoW and they only calculate attrition with their own army, e.g. if the supply limit on a province is 20 and Lorent has a 30 stack there and Rubyhold has a 10 stack, only Lorent has attrition. If the supply limit is 20 and Lorent, Rubyhold, and Wex each have 10 stacks then no-one takes attrition. This is why HRE wars often get absurdly large blobs of troops forming because all the princes can combine their tiny armies together and still not take any attrition.
For me, it's the 20 wars you need to kill a big blob. The combat can be annoying, but the fact that you need to repeat it multiple times just pushes it over the edge.
For me tho, it's all the homosexualy nations in the new world trying to eat my land
BE-FRICKING-HOLD
meh castanor is cooler
GO FORTH MY MINIONS
Imagine actually having to micro that many armies lmao
Castanor is dumb.
Magical olympic trials are no basis for a system of government.
Tag for this feel?
Adshaw
>we bow to no throne
oh nonononono
It's bird time
Which nations have shabbos goys working for you?
Jaddari, some harimari tags that rule over humans, Irrliam, Mulen.
Mulen, also frickbuddies
Verkal Ozovar
Every sun elf tag. Every harimari tag.
Verkal Ozovar is literally THE israeli tag where you use literal mind control to make everyone into Viridian golems
Does the damestear you spawn via the mission tree from arakeprun run out like all the other event based one does or does it stick around like then nimscodd one? I don't want to dev that province only for it flip to livestock after 2 years.
it runs out but the province is weighted to have urban trade goods (cloth, glass, paper, those kind of things)
The reason people think dorfs are boring is because they don't blob outside of the serpentspine
Like no shit you think they are boring when you are just waiting for mana so you can dev
It's more because EU4 doesn't do internal systems, and dorfs are basically all internal.
most of the dwarf tags aren't well placed to blob outside the serpentspine, either because they're quite far from any exit or because they don't benefit tradewise which makes it feels like a waste of time sometimes. Only real exceptions are the serpentreach holds and conquering the deepwoods and middle dwarovar holds conquering golden highway and into rahen (and interestingly none of the hold trees developed so far in that region even hint at doing this when you can actually get insanely wealthy from it)
they constantly blob out into the plains or the forest
A bunch of jaded anbennar devs are making their own EU4mod. And there is no racism or genocide! 🙂
Good for them. I wish them well.
>make anbennar but more boring
but why
How many trannies on the dev team
this looks awful, a map so ugly you'd think G.R.R.M drew it
>head is former north aelantir lead>
>troony>
no thank you
Ooh.. THAT guy...
who?
Not a global map, Anbennar entire appeal is EU4 period history + fantasy, without a global map you can circumnavigate and that includes everything it falls apart.
>And there is no racism or genocide! 🙂
Really? I've no idea how you make a map painting game without violence, it's stupid.
I would agree that Anbennar has overly-exaggerate period of racial hyperwar in the Serpentspine or Dragon coast that are just boring, but on average it's not overly ahistorical.
>Chauboii
Chau, grill
>Rhotalon
Big Byzantium.
>who?
troony who was main dev for Ynn, made azkare and arverynn
No wonder Azkare's event writing was so cringeworthy
Defiance of Trannalon
>I've no idea how you make a map painting game without violence, it's stupid.
There is violence but the mod won't have racial genocide mechanics like Anbennar does. The violence just isn't racially motivated. Religious and cultural violence and discrimination still exists.
>without a global map you can circumnavigate and that includes everything it falls apart
The map is zoomed in to a region of the world like Voltaire's Nightmare. I don't think this mod will ever be anywhere near as big or appeal to as many people as Anbennar does, if it even gets finished, but I doubt that's the aim.
>There is violence but the mod won't have racial genocide mechanics like Anbennar does. The violence just isn't racially motivated. Religious and cultural violence and discrimination still exists.
Seems arbitrary, why even make a multi-racial world where people can't mix if you are not going to take the realistic implication of that fact?
Also cultural violence would just be racial violence IRL.
It's so sad that I can't bring dwarves back and now i'm forced to accept goblins
How would you rate Bulwari MTs?
I like how the Bulwar tree seperates the development part from the expansion parts
When are old MTs like Gawed or Castellyr gonna get updated?
Cannor lock will be lifted very soon, so someone needs to want to rework them
What's the policy on reworks even?
Generally it's up to the leads, if you have a convincing proposal and the tag in question is seen as undercooked and also important enough to bother reworking then you'll probably be given the green light. And it's well known that Cannor has a lot of those undercooked tags with very old content
to build on this, it also has to fit with established lore. You can't just come in and say you want to make a MT for Beepeck where the Lord Mayor declares himself dictator and becomes a lich.
What even is established lore for MTs? Just pre-1444 stuff?
Using this logic established lore for Gawed is that they hate all Elves, which is obviously not what the reworked MT is going to be like
>Using this logic
*meant to say "If we didn't use this logic"
technically, the "Lore" is whatever Jaybean has planned for his silly Victoria 3 mod.
Book you mean
Genuinely amazing how out of all the changes that could have happened from the start to end of EUIV he picked the most boring ones to import for vicki mod
Make a better scenario
Lorent and Rubyhold have a personal union under a dwarven clan
Adshaw won
Eborthil won
It has to start boring so you can make it interesting. The EU4 start is pretty boring as well, doesn't stop me spreading gobbos everywhere. If it was weird I'd have no interest in playing it to make paint the map with what I want.
The world is too consolidate to be interesting in many places.
Vic3 is boring so it doesn't really matter what scenario they set up. Like look at the crazy post-Command thunderdome in Haless, seems really cool, except you'll have to use Vic3's war system to fight in it so you're better off rolling uninstall wizard instead
half of the point of victoria is that politics, diplomacy and economy should be as fuj as war
unfortunately for victoria 3, all 4 aspects are either boring or very bad
Does Portnamm/Iochand/Gommoport/Triarchy/Ketheratan gnomes have a tree yet
Delta gnomes wont get one because they are a releasable, but all the others are being worked on
delta gnomes are no longer the primary race of their tag, Korokhesh, which does actually have it's own variant of the generic khet mission tree now
Technically they never where, Delta Gnomes were always a minority and Koroshes was a meme tag whose core would go away in 50 years.
Now Delta Gnomes are more real than ever.
no technically delta gnome was the primary culture of Korokhesh tag you fricking moronic redditor pedant, now the primary culture of korokhesh is korokheshi which actually exists at game start and thus the cores are not lost. Korokhesh is no longer a gnome tag, it is just a tag that happens to have national ideas about delta gnomish influence on them and whose core provinces have some gnomish minorities.
I won't tolerate this slander of the honorable worshippers of Corin
Corin ended the greentide
Corin allowed adventures to finish the job
Corin gave the world another chance to genocide orcs entirely
None of that makes her a god
>Corin ended the greentide
Well done she stopped some completely peaceful Orcs who just wanted to duel
>Corin ended the greentide
The greentide was Dookan sending his men out to kill the spawn of Agrados so by dying she did.
Let's build the perfect V3 scenario, one region at the time:
>Esmaria
>Giberd conquers the region and forms an Anbennarian Hierarchy
Why? Surely there are betting things to do.
Marrhold becomes Subterranean
Ringlet sea: Hul-az-Krakazol ale meteor is canon, its effects were only temporary but it struck an underwater civilization of mer-men and rapidly mutated them to breathe alcohol instead of water, when the meteor ran out of juice they were forced to raid the surface world for more booze as it's a matter of life and death. They raid all the local colonial powers using booze-suits that protect them from suffocating on the surface, and their pops satisfy basic needs with liquor. Their endgame is joining the space race to find the mythical booze planet their doomsday religion believes must exist.
Greedy lencori merchants would subjugate them and force them to give up all their natural resoruces for their wine like the orientals with opium
That's just the irish.
>dragon Coast
>Total Kobold Victory
>Bulwar
>Sareyand forms phoenix empire
>Ovdal Tungr conquers Bahar
>Zokka kills redditman
>Tluukt and Irrliam get partitioned between independent NSC human states
>Zokka kills redditman
I usualy play "good guys" but Jadd is a fricking menace to world stability, on the few tmes Zokha wins the game for the nations in the surrounding area is a lot more fun, at least the dark swamp trolls have a mechanic that halts their expantion every few years, Jadd just fricking gobbles everything and steamrolls all the smaller countries before you can do anything
Jadd dies in all my games because the ai doesn't properly utilize the early cavalry and all their troops die to attrition and because of elven manpower they don't get it back and surrounding tags dogpile them.
I have never seen Jadd do well in my games when they win. Do you not play past 1500? They fail to expand west because of Kheterata, north because of elf hugbox and east because of the Raj. They are completely surrounded by strong enemies and the AI doesn't take advantage of their bonuses,
>north escann
Orcs that venerate Dookan as a member of the regent court claiming that he was trying to save cannor from Agrados
>trying yo save the continent from the god of war
>by causing one of the largest wars in centuries
RC schizos never change
I think some slightly schizo fun tags are sorely needed for the vic 3 mod.
There are the frostpunk gnomes
>West Dwarovar
>Mithradhum victory, TOTAL orcoid death, Mithril has became an especially foul insult amid (surviving) orcs
>Bulwar
>Shazstundihr victory, peace upon Bulwar and harpy waifus for everyone
>Escann
>Hammerhome victory, rise of the Dirt Dwarves, first (surface) railway on planet, White Walls V2 to keep Cannorians, Al*nics and Gerudians out
>Cannor
>Silverforge completed, becomes the industrial center of the Empire
>Corinism outlawed, cube worship prosecuted
I hope they make a Rubyhold tree
>Hoardcurse + Azirnuk in 1530
>+14 unrest
Such is the price of powergaming.
For me it's Goblintide
>Serpentspine
>black orcs still haven't built anything
Imagine being one day late to the Greentide and korgus dies and your color changing powers vanish, so you're permanently stuck being black
Seeing people complain about anbennar on Ganker is fun. I'm one of the most experienced anbennar complainers in the world, I've been on the server since 6 years ago. Any particular targets anybody wants years worth of complaining about?
What a life.
Yeah I'm pretty cool.
Don't worry I haven't actually been active on there for 2 years.
The Rahen.
Alright let me think.
The names are just ridiculous. Fricking rajnadhaga, babbagama, avhavubiya??? ghavaghundakhan????
It was pretty much the most ignored region when I was active. Had like, literally two mission trees for the longest time. I don't even have any interesting things to complain about because just like nothing happened there. I remember there being arguments about the number of urban provinces relative to other areas.
I guess main thing to complain about: The Command missions took like 4 years. The lead of Rahen had some plans but apparently forbidden plains releasing with centaur world conquest that then split into various countries based on regions was too similar to what was planned for The Command? Like "Oh I can't split up the country anymore, somebody already did splitting up your country." Then the like #1 great power at game start just sat there missionless for 3 years because they never came up with anything else and apparently being vaguely similar to centaur missions was enough to ruin the whole thing.
>Had like, literally two mission trees for the longest time.
As opposed to the 7 it has now? kek
>1.
I don't think this is completely fair, Gilly might have changed some lore and clarified some lore and he is maybe just unnecessarily salty that people don't first see the out-of-game lore. In practice the type of discrimination that goes within Bulwar is meant to be mostly a group of Sun Elves having a paternalistic attitude over the Bulwari that not everyone shares.
>Half elves being killed
AFAIK doesn't happen anymore.
>Sun elves don't have feudalism they just have a system where lords own land and "pay fair wages" to people that work the land.
No? Human nobles are mostly urban and sun elven nobles are mostly rural but their land is technically leased to them by the king, so not feudalism.
>The idea that peasants don't get to grow their own food and some part of that is taxed, no, they get paid instead.
...I mean, yeah? Wages existed for some amount of farmers.
>Look at the fricking common misconceptions section of the wiki page. They get so mad at redditors saying sun elves are racist they had to write a section of a wiki page about it.
>However, there were indeed some abuses of this power, most often in places where the Sun Elven nobility was stronger or had replaced the human nobles; and Gumar was twisted into a method of control against the human populace. This was not an orthodox view on what being chosen meant.
The language is maybe a bit too apologetic about it but it's not like it refused to acknowledge faults.
>but there's so much that just keeps getting changed with no other reason available
Any specific example?
>So I think they just run out of things to do.
Reworking PE, Surakes, Goblin tags, finishing existing tags can still take a while IMO
>So they're like, making new releasable tags so they can make more national ideas.
Cannor is doing that too.
>The names are just ridiculous. Fricking rajnadhaga, babbagama, avhavubiya??? ghavaghundakhan????
The names are definitely important, I think it's also a big part of why no one gives a shit about the Lake Fed. It's way harder to identify with a country when some autist gave it a completely incomprehensible mouthful name to show off his conlang. Even actual Indian placenames usually aren't anywhere near this hard to say, compare Telangana to some bullshit like Buhannjirghal, because real life place names are generally chosen to be easily spoken and not to sound cool to linguistic autists. It seems most of Sarhal has this problem too so I expect it will also go completely ignored for years to come, and I'm sure when we get Insyaa most of the countries will be called stuff like "Momoanuiipauru" instead of anything sane.
Vijayanagarabros...
vegananananagar?
aelantir
I'm struggling to think of Aelantir complaints that are fun for random people to hear about. Stuff like, "The mushroom forest area was supposed to have mushroom people" might be too small. That's a good one I guess, there was an old idea for mushroom people that Jay didn't like. South Aelantir has really struggled. The leechmen got removed entirely a while ago. They used to be playable. I don't remember why they got removed, I do remember a mission tree proposal for them that never finished. Amadia is a region named after an old server member, not even a contributor or anything, just somebody that talked about the Silmunas constantly. Which is why in Victoria 3 Amadia is some kind of Silmuna loyalist colony. But in EU4 it's been empty for a long time, and there was an attempt to make something interesting there beyond just being colonized by Anbennar and it was uh... a big mistake really. Where one person was proposing stuff, and the proposals were being denied but they were left to work on it... for six months. Continually making ideas but never succeeding. There was a really funny incident where, this designer for a region, only had the writer role, there wasn't any other contribution to the mod. And somebody wondered once, what had they written? So they checked and... they basically hadn't written anything. It was something like they wrote one event and their version didn't even get put in the mod or something. So basically somebody with no experience on the mod was being left to design a region from the ground up. And somebody was trying to gently expose this without like, starting a scene or something, so they asked what this writer had written to get that role. They didn't respond, instead they went straight to the channel where people look for writers and tried to write something as quickly as possible. This clever plan to keep their role worked, So they continued working on Amadia for a few months after that.

Lmao, this is so Kafkaesque but its just a voluntary, unpaid video game mod Discord server. Why is he even a writer if he doesn't want to actually write anything?
Some people really like the idea of doing things, but not the actual doing of the things. Being a member of the team without actually having to do anything is the best of both worlds for them.
kek if true
Enlighten me on Bulwar my friend.
Okay this one I have the most about.
So Bulwar's lead used to be this one person that ended up lead of Bulwar, Rahen, and Haless. When they wanted to leave they had to find replacements. I remember there being a period of time where Bulwar had 3 leads, I don't remember what happened to the 3rd one, because there's mainly one lead now. Who has a lot of problems.
1. Tries to deny that there's anything bad in Bulwar. Like racism, there's no racism in Bulwar, the humans just want the sun elves to rule over them so much. Half elves being killed for being half elves isn't even that racist because they're less than 1% of the population (Actual thing the lead said). Sun elves don't have feudalism they just have a system where lords own land and "pay fair wages" to people that work the land. Which I just love so much. The idea that peasants don't get to grow their own food and some part of that is taxed, no, they get paid instead. So I guess all the food goes to the lord, and then they have to buy it back? It's such a ridiculous idea that's like, trying to be different from feudalism but only in a stupid way.
https://anbennar.fandom.com/wiki/Sun_Elf#Common_Misconceptions:
Look at the fricking common misconceptions section of the wiki page. They get so mad at redditors saying sun elves are racist they had to write a section of a wiki page about it.
2. They really want to just replace everything that wasn't made by them. It started as like, a joke about some things that were being changed for no reason, but there's so much that just keeps getting changed with no other reason available, and I think the lead has even like said it at one point. I'm not sure.
message getting too long
Though part of that I think can be blamed on regional teams being too focused on the region they joined to. Like a lot of people will be like, "I am a proud member of the Bulwar core team" and they only care about Bulwar. And Bulwar has been the 2nd smallest region with its own channel after the deepwoods, which was removed but now there's gerudia taking its #1 smallest spot. So I think they just run out of things to do. There was a huge amount of stuff added when the team was made, which is nice because Bulwar was kind of ignored before, but now they just want to keep doing Bulwar and like it's kind of finished. So they're like, making new releasable tags so they can make more national ideas. Every country has their own ideas so they have to make new tags that 5% of players will ever even notice, and less than 1% will ever release and then read the ideas of. Cannor has been doing this too. I found a map of mission trees in Anbennar just to check and yeah Bulwar's basically filled in.
>Cannor has been doing this too
Well, at least it has a point. iirc the new tags are Lencenori stuff designed to help make every Cannor game not simply "Lorent wins lol"
And there's a lot of stuff in Cannor that should be redone anyway. Whereas Bulwar is pretty great all around and doesn't really need it. The splittening of the harpies is kind of the final frontier, after that what are you gonna do, subdivide provinces and add more vassals? Draw more islands off the coast? (wait they did that)
>Every country has their own ideas so they have to make new tags that 5% of players will ever even notice
To be fair I think it's just an opportunity to just copy past the text and put it in the wiki, thus creating regional history for "actual" tags to reference.
> The idea that peasants don't get to grow their own food and some part of that is taxed, no, they get paid instead.
That's so much worse than just normal sharecropping in a pre-industrial agrarian society. No seed, no grain storage, just hope that the town you regularly travel to will have affordable grain costs so your family doesn't die to market prices trolling you.
Time and propaganda has done much to distort the Sun Elven culture and traits in the eyes of the world. In this section, an attempt will be made to explain the basics of their deep and rich culture and its intersection with faith.
You can really feel the seething
Sad but true
>Tries to deny that there's anything bad in Bulwar. Like racism, there's no racism in Bulwar, the humans just want the sun elves to rule over them so much
And? Where's the problem? Did you seriously go to Ganker to complain about le ebil racist chuds? Bulwari are literally built for elven rule, j*dd and osc can go frick themselves
OSC are based, created only to legally frick Elves
>OSC are based, created only to legally frick Elves
moron
Seethe more shitskin
Elven women frick Bulwari men thoughever
>thoughever
Unironically it makes sense since half-elves are all killed so no one will care if you get an abortion which means you can skip any form of birth control
>Maqeti
mystery meat, barely Bulwari
Show me proof that all Bulwari humans look like this.
No
Bulwar is literally the middle east, the only white race there is the sun elves
sun elves arent even white their advisor portraits come in all shades. if anything the kheionai and snecboth are the only "white" elves
moon elves using sun elven portraits is a placeholder
it's also funny that elves are said to be attractive but the advisor portraits are all ugly
harpy being so black is also stupid
haha snec
Snec are literally hyperborean I don't think its fair to compare them.
me on the left
Bulwari race relations seem so obviously written backwards, they decided on all the basics of the NSC then realised they didn't actually want NSC elves to be evil and had to start reaching for justifications. What really cracks me up is that the solution they found is quite literally just the white man's burden
Late contributor curse, you like a region but you don't like people primarily talking about its societal issues so you have to bend backwards.
Also seen among orc fans.
HONOURABLE DUELS N SHIET
the obvious way to fix the greentide genocide problem is to have escanni cultured provinces in the east of anbennar
>suggest to add more humans
NOOOOOOOOOOO THE HECKING DESTRUCTION OF THE REGION WON'T BECOME AS OBVIOUS THROUGH THE CULTURE MAP
>suggest to be more honest about orcish occupation (like almost any other medieval army due to the realities of how hard it is to feed and hydrate an army)
NOOOOOOOOOOO THAT'S NOT WHAT WE INTENDED WITH THE ORC CHANGES THEY'RE BEING SHOWN AS MERCILESS BARBARIANS IF YOU DO THIS
It isn't ADDING more humans, it's moving the humans elsewhere so that they aren't just deleted from the fricking map.
Mass migration of tens of millisons of people is something that should be addressed extensively in the lore, it should be one of the reason why the Lilac wars stops.
>uhm guys stop fighting, millions of people are moving into Anbennar fleeing orcs
Realistically, those that successfully flee would be less common than those who just died of starvation or disease. Even of they did make it, there's now hundreds of thousands or even millions (if we want to be super optimistic) of unproductive peasants that are now your burden and are asking for security and provisions, and you're in the Lilac War for sure.
Contributors won't ever simulate a massive refugee crisis that will take decades to fully subside in the game start for one of its flagship regions though because that'd suck to play. I wouldn't want to be struck with massive eco and stability debuffs just for being in the wrong region.
>in the game start for one of its flagship regions though because that'd suck to play.
but enough about the Serpentspine
To be fair it's not the same person saying both
>orcs
As if they'll get any meaningful lore development beyond some insights from some niche tags on them.
I really don't get the weird orc "revisionism", it just feels so unnecessary. Korgus more or less had them mind controlled, that should be enough justification already, everyone likes Warcraft orcs and they have basically the same backstory except Blizzard wasn't shy about being explicit with the rape and murder and destruction.
Boomplainers like you are like boiled frogs, you are unable to experience the shockwave of stupidity and plot holes that newchads do.
The first nation I played was Verne so tell me your complaints about them
Boring colonizationslop
True
Least they get Wyverns. That's more than Busilar and Eborthil get
Eborthil is way more engaging than Verne imo
I like the tradthil and Akan part. But 2/3 of your game is just colonise the entirety of central Aelantir.
Thats the problem with cannor colonizers, especially gnomish hierachy, the trees are old so its understandable that they are all boring.
Colonization is boring in general and will never be changed, it should be automated and also work like Meiou, as in it's scripted
>meiou
>work
I'm talking about the idea of event based colonizing
Serpentspine drama
For me, it's Gawed. Apart from the they hate all elves part, I feel they're pretty well placed to blob in all directions
Escann, and the late-game tags of Castanor & Black Demesne.
The design of the lake federation.
Why is the first 100 years of serpentspine gameplay just speed 5-watching-the-paint-dry, the next 100 years "conquer the serpentspine", and then everyone just quit the game?
>the next 100 years "conquer the serpentspine"
is this bad?
>Lake Federation
I'am gona say what everyone is thinking, the reason people dont play the meme federation is because of their AWFUL dorky religious portraits. Its just some goofy looking dude's head, thats not a fricking a religion
I think that might just be you. There are many more important reasons to hate the lake fed.
Unironically true
no halfling wife to breed....
This is what Lorent lost by oppressing the Halflings after winning the Wars of Dominion.
Thoughts about trannies wanting kids in their nsfw offtopic channel so they can groom them?

>implying Lithiel isn't always wholesome
Ebin
Its weird the game set up Ameion as an Alexander the Great with this huge destiny. But he really didn't do that much by the time he was destined to die.
He conquered something like 10 million people
ruinborn aren't people
The peasants didnt put up any resistance
There are 10 million people in Southern Taychend? Is this some some sort of Larankar Ruinborn are only 3/5s a full elf type calculation?
You mean the number is too big or too small?
Is there any tag in Cannor or around it that actually has good recent mission trees? Besides Black Demesne/Castanor and Venail
I'm not interested in playing not-Asians or not-Arabs I want to play the not-Europeans
I don't know about recent, but I thought Adshaw was pretty good. I liked Elihkand (New Wanderers) and Urviksten too
I also think kobolds are fun but not because of their mission tree, just because the early game is wiener and ball torture but you get really strong if you survive
when do you even use Jadd festivals, my CCR is like 65% right now, I don't even feel the need to use it lol
when you take 500% OE
tags to play after a lobotomy?
Lorent
Some homie just told me that he like zyujyut because it has a trans king, these people are so easy to please.
In the case of the trannies, their entire identity often gets subsumed into troonydom. Of course transparent (hah) pandering attempts appeal to them.
In the case of "allies", they're often the ones doing the pandering themselves because trannies are the most oppressed totem on the pole excluding G-d's Eternal Victims
>doing the pandering themselves because trannies are the most oppressed totem on the pol
Probably also because of money. I don't know that Jaybean likes them, he's from a muslim country and the mod wasn't pozzed at first.
I hate trannies myself, I think they should at least be outlawed.
But if I made a mod and trannies got into it, YOU BET I would pander to them, I mean really hard.
I'd promote them all as mods on the discord instantly, I'd ask for all their pronouns and let them set them on the discord. Then I'd make them mods on my reddit too.
Then I'd make an entire troony country, dedicated to trannies. Like troony elves who have the power to change sex at will. With troony flag colors and a shark emblem. They'd eat that shit up.
You just know they will have an obsession and discord power trip and start working for you FOR FREE for the next ten years. Then they'll attract all the other trannies and start spamming your shit all over the internet since trannies are a hivemind of terminally online morons.
Then you rake in the easy patreon money.
It's like furries getting milked by artists in the 00s, nowadays it's trannies.
Most people don't know Anbennar has a patreon anyways
Well it's getting about 700$/month which is apparently the average wage in Indonesia. This guy is doubling his wage, and even in the west I wouldn't say no to an extra 700$, it's almost 10k/year. For a passion project the lead seems to delegate a lot of.
Does he split the money with others? if not, that's a lot of money for being a loremaster
Well, he does do work himself, now he is working on ck3 and vic3
I don't know. In many cases it's the other way around, people pay for the VIP discord role then the content creator gives them attention and allows them to do things. So actually they are paying the creator to work for him.
But I don't know if this guy in particular is so cynical, maybe not.
It's like many twitch mods are the top payers of a streamer, they don't get paid, they don't even do it for free they are the ones paying
>It's like many twitch mods are the top payers of a streamer, they don't get paid, they don't even do it for free they are the ones paying
reminds me of this kek
?t=171
Isn't he from Britain?
Anyway this is overly cynical, you don't have specifically accept or promote a sub-demographic, simply accepting contributors as they come and removing the edgy ones and giving people individual creative power would likely have the same end result.
Also it's easier to openly criticize "problematic" content than it is to criticize someone for just shoehorning their personal idiosyncrasies in the fantasy setting.
1.) The Philippines are majority catholic
2.) Jaybean grew up in Scotland
PE'eing is harder than I thought, i'm trying to have a chill game but are forced to kill 1000k rebels every time I finish a war and even with constant 270% OE i'm still not fast enough
what your tolerance of own faith?
Idk 12 or 13, doesn't matter because one province with 4 unrest has 75% chance of rebel spawning
Try humanist, it gives a direct -7 unrest
But I already have humanist
how are you struggling that much lol
>i'm trying to have a chill game
>Half the world conquered by 1666
Sure you are.
Take a look at PE mission tree
I refuse.
Soon... you can time the Deioderan with your last massive conquest so that it cores the land automatically.
What's the answer to the Sun Elf question as Baharses, with the Old Sun Cult in mind?
How bad was the oppression of Humans under the Sun Elf overlords really?
I think purging Elves in retaliation is too extreme, as i don't think they themselves ever went that far. I could keep them as an unaccepted race, which basically means they are my slaves, just like Humans were theirs.
But i don't think the OSC sees Humans as divine, like the NSC sees Elves, so the slavery would only be justified by revenge, not by religion
Any Dartax anons here ever choose to coexist with the knife ears?
Let the cycle continue. 4 centuries of reparations is the only answer.
>second option
TOTAL ELVEN SEX
Anyway I think the first and second are the only that make sense, third is stupid, elves are not gnolls.
>elves are not gnolls
Yeah, plus it was the Elves that saved Humans from the Gnolls originally.
>NSC was created by humans who were grateful that the elves liberated them from slavery, NSC clergy is human led
Sounds like a Cargo Cult, but Prince Philip actually goes to Polynesia and says: Hey it's me, God!
>400 years
There hasn't been a single negative Elf event so far, so i am going with 100 years of slavery as reparations, followed by racial coexistence, if they can behave. Considering their long age, most individual Elves will slave away for a century and still live to experience harmony as a reward
>TOTAL ELVEN SEX
Nope, helfs get expelled, sry. No race mixing allowed. Emperor Dartax is 100% human btw and so are all his children
>Sounds like a Cargo Cult, but Prince Philip actually goes to Polynesia and says: Hey it's me, God!
Jaher didn't say he was God, humans did. It's like when Alexander the Great conquered Egypt and egyptians proclaimed him God
And in the 40s, Pacific island savages proclaimed Prince Philip and random American soldiers as Gods, because they had never seen airplanes and chocolate and battleships and photographs before.
Jaher and the Sun Elves clearly never denied their own divinity
>OSC larper compares bulwari to pacific island savages
You do realize that it's a proof that they are in need of enlightened leadership?
Elves can enlighten Baharses by shoveling coal for 100 years and then we can all bask in the light of Sura*k*el together as equals
Will the harpies and goblins get to bask as well?
Undecided on the Harpies, but Gobbos gotta go.
How bad were the Harpies on Humans? Mostly birdsex?
Probably birdsex. Don't see an issue with the gobbos though. They're pretty chill and just want to make clothes or read books. The only reason they have majority provinces is because so many of them came.
>Pay up whitey for muh oppression, we were god kangz n shieeet
we were tho
Dartax is proof that helves are superior
>What's the answer to the Sun Elf question as Baharses, with the Old Sun Cult in mind?
Obviously genocide because OSC is a murderous cult filled with ungrateful and jealous shitskins
>How bad was the oppression of Humans under the Sun Elf overlords really?
Humans in Bulwar are in better position than in Cannor due to lack of serfdom. I don't know what oppression are you talking about, can you give me some examples?
>which basically means they are my slaves, just like Humans were theirs.
???
There was never any slavery. NSC was created by humans who were grateful that the elves liberated them from slavery, NSC clergy is human led and the human nobles have higher status than elven farmers. The fact that elves are on the top makes sense because someone with 300 years of experience would be better suited for that role.
>why do I hear loud clicking noises from my steward's manor?
Is the last option outright genocide? Because if it's just mass deportation to Aelantir or something like that this would make the most sense.
400 years of servitude. Killing all the elves isn't right but they can repay their debt.
Sun elves have not and never will oppress humans
what map mod?
Theatrum Orbis Terrarum
thanks
Hopefully this is not a mistake
enjoy your cannor coalition
The annoying part is that it stops my expansion East and I need to setup the Deioderan
Fighting coalitions would be cool if you could seperate peace and take land, but idk how you even play against a coalition like this
ya dun goof'd
always make sure one side of the coalition has a truce with you otherwise you will get shit like this
Sun Elves owe me babies
When are they doing the Zanlib tree?
It will be about removing the hecking Bulwari racism
Bulwar is just a metaphor for the Levant.
Bulwari are Arabs and Sun Elves are the israelites.
It's obvious.
So objectively both are in the wrong and the place should be turned into a Cannorian mandate.
>Cannorian mandate
But Anbennar is traditionally ruled by half-elves and Busilar is full mulatto. And Castanor Patricians are North Africans.
Are Alenics really the world's last hope?
Gnomes are
Nice globogommo propaganda israelite
Only race native to Cannor
Technically they're just mutated Halflings.
Satyrs are clearly the only worthy ones. I'm not saying this because I'm a furry or anything
Wait, were did Humans come from again?
AHEM
He is such a daddy
This fricking coalition set my conquest back by 15 years, but at least it lets me make the perfect larp:
>Jaddar, the Divine Herald of Surael, embarks for his last major conquest against the Halessi heathens. The past 15 years have seen a major diplomatic crisis that might have result in the a 2 front multicontinental war between the Empire of Jadd and the Cannorian/Raheni coalition if not for the diplomatic efforts of the Radiant court.
>In the 15 years the armies ballooned in size trying to stiffle the coalition and to prepare for the massive campaign, yet a storm is brewing with the disputed succession of Jaddar who will soon die.
Rushed mill hegemon by going double by force limit, also made the coalition disband.
It's time
Why can't orcs just be evil and get redeemed? you telling me a race who destroyed the Serpentspine, chilled for thousand of years and build nothing, decided to invade escann and destroy it, are supposed to be misunderstood?
my thoughts too, even the tacky mind control takes away from the possible redemption
Can tall Kheterata be fun already with the stewardship or should I wait until they get a better mission tree?
Stewardship is undercooked, so I'd say no
Shame
Current content is mostly for blobmaxxing
Kheterata should vassalmaxx. The actual nation should keep itself too the sorrow
It's a country ruled by cats, i would give it a tree that reflects that
example :
>Open the door
Our feline gods have declared we want to get access to the western sea, conquer the corridor immediately.
>Close the door
On second thought, our gods have decreed those lands are worthless and don't want to go there anymore. Sell or release those lands now.
>Befriend Eborthil
The northerners have improved relations, they want to scratch our masters' ears, let's get closer to them and ally them.
>Turn on Eborthil
It's been 5 years, the Khet are growing tired of the northerners. Immediately declare a war of aggression on them with a -3 stab hit.
I approve of idea
There should be a mission about pushing things down the noruin cliffs
Bringing Khets to the Ynn to frick it up
a new wanderers in the Ynn would be kino af
>the khets are just fey
It all makes sense now
I propose a third option.
>Get on the floor
I know Azkare is written by a troon and railroady as frick, but is it at least good?
Is Gor Burad's new tree any good
The tree has you mostly keep to your section of the serpentspine. Instead of improving your rails like most dwarven tags you instead pour lava on them to irrigate and dev your caves. But to dev your caves you have to use shitty invisible mana that's tracked in the decisions tab which made me just cheat it in with events.
>But to dev your caves you have to use shitty invisible mana that's tracked in the decisions tab which made me just cheat it in with events.
kind of a tangent, but man the proposed magic rework is supposed to include something like this and it's such a monumentally bad idea.
It proposes to add actual literal mana, a separate resource that ticks up based on its own factors, to replace the usage of mana that's already in-game and visible at all times. Magic integrates so well with EU4 because it's a choice between using mana for the usual stuff or using it for the benefits of magic. And it integrates perfectly with the divide between magic and technology too since it's used for both. I get that it's weird how hiring a quartermaster increases your ability to cast Earthquake, or letting a minstrel go where he pleases can help your estate use Plant Growth, but it just works really well as a video game abstraction. and I don't have to hover over yet another decision tooltip to see where my mana is at.
The magic system could be improved but imo it just needs more spells, more flavor for different cultures and races and tags based on how they use magic, actually adding a bunch of patrons, stuff like that. Not copying Godherja's mana bar...
>It proposes to add actual literal mana, a separate resource that ticks up based on its own factors, to replace the usage of mana that's already in-game and visible at all times.
Sounds good
Depends entirely on if you like dealing with disasters and playing tall.
Do you enjoy +20 unrest?
How are you suposed to deal with Yazel Mora (swamp trolls) as the surrounfing human and lizardmen kingdoms, it feels impossible
As the command, do I have to do all the war room campaign missions or just the conquer ones to finish a campaign?
Cause there's some absolutely moronic railroaded trash missions like "have 40 regiments present in a specific province and have them battle atleast 10 enemy regiments"
only ones to finish the campagin, a few are pretty unique like the Bhuvauri one that makes horcs
Thank god, atleast I don't have to console command that shit
I've never even gotten that specific one to work, even when I was trying
The only mission that matters is the one that gives the yearly legitimacy modifier, that's the "finisher" mission. the other stuff is just flavor.
That battle mission is broken and doesn't work at all I think, never worked for me.
What's the best hold for forming aul-dwarov (that isn't boring as shit and horribly outdates like amldihr)?
I.e. something that gives decent claims over lots of the the serpentspine and has some flavor.
Krakdhumvror?
Verkal Dromak
Isn't that a meme tree?
Diversity is our strength
some minorities have bankrolled my nations sometimes thanks too the events that give ducats. like I gotta thank my Goblin and Gnoll homies for kepping my economy afloat (yes I am aware I am literally robbing them but y'know)
dwarven adventurers are actually pretty fun
sometimes I'll just spend like 70 years or so just going around purging warbands and doing expeditions. by the time I am done I'll have like 20k ducats saved.
Mission trees?
More like transition trees.
they should add an ogre adventurer too the region
Guehehehe, correcting ynn lesbians with RAPE
what the frick is a transmasc
PC term for tomboy
i'm guessing trans masculine, so a woman trying to be a man?
I like how they've gone so woke they actually go over to the right wing position not calling them men any more and just recognising that they look masculine.
People still say trans man, transmasc is just an umbrella term to include nonbinary people who still lean masculine (but don't identify as a man).
make the ynn helf
make the bulwar helf
finish the job in cannor
breed the elves to extinction
is eborthil white? they are a silver family so they must be
Are Sicilians white
khetertatan settlers
They're a weird mix of ancient Khet settlers, people who fled the fall of the Damerian Republic to set up a rump state, probably a lot of refuges from Akan in recent times, and apparently they're getting some reavers thrown their lore as well in ck3.
Didn't all Khet settlers die with the Onslaught?
These Black folks are in dire need of cannorian civilizers
Oh my fauci what a wholesome tag
it would be hilarious if the only tags trannards were allowed to work on would be these pointless filler trash no one will ever play as
alas it seems to be spreading into the interesting parts of the game
WAOW THESE AFRICAN Black folk ARE SO PROGRESSIVE, UNLIKE THE BACKWARDS CANNORIAN COLONIZERS
>t. cannorian philosopher
YASS. Progressive and equal Black queens!
Most popular Sarhali tag
Does being mentioned by trannies 7 times make you popular
Reading comprehension
too bad I'll never see this since I will always have south sarhal disabled
what's this then?
the new options are very hard
frick (the last option is the same as the other two)
starting with sparkdrive rifles is kinda OP
your version looks broken, they have no modifers
that tooltip doesn't show it for some reason but the buff is active, my bitbucket is the newest from yesterday
What's the console command for putting damestear in a province, I'm getting fricking tired of these missions
event damestear.3 and then province id. If that doesn't work you can make a runfile.
Thanks
>bongo
>moronic marriage system
>matriarchal
make them a tech 1 tribe and they would fit right into irl Sarhal. they are literally just a dime a dozen failures like all the other tribes that only existed so they could be raped and enslaved by the stronger more masculine tribes.
>only existed so they could be raped and enslaved by the stronger
That is actually what that region is pretty much. They get raided by the Mengi to the north and are the main source of Raheni slaves because of that if i remember right
Though their lore is actually pretty cool tbqh, it's a big warlord thunderdome with wild shaping shifters. Also I'm pretty sure their names are getting redone into actual language that doesn't sound like the randomly generated animal names in Google Docs.
best nation for blobbing?
Phoenix Empire, Castanor, Black Demense, The Command, Jadd
>Top tier blobbers
>Birzartanses, Varamhar
>Adenica, with or without forming Castanor
>Urviksten
>Command
>Jaddari
>Dahui
>Nuguund Tsarai > Daxugo
>Mid tier blobbers
>Dartaxgerim/Zansap into Surakes
>Any Escanni tag with or without forming Castanor
>Siadan
>Verkal Ozovar
>Aelnar
Why the frick does this a new dominion event keep popping up? I'm trying to fricking core this shit so I can give it to an acolyte stop stealing my fricking admin
best nation for talling?
Gnomish Hierarchy, Roilsard/Wineport, Hammerhome, Feiten
The imperial gnomes (Giberd) do it pretty well too.
Giberd is getting a MT rework too.
Swift legged bongo
Free Aelantiri Black person
zesty orc
the new old age system and artificiery look a bit unbaked, Im going back to older versions until this shit is figured out
>Got an automatic forced peace with a vassal but i am still at war with their overlord
wat
I've only recently gotten into trying artificery, what's the point of going for it if you can't use most of the shit you unlock unless you conquer eordand to get enough relics for a reasonably sized artificery cap? Especially as a non-goblin/gnome/kobold nation your cap is barely enough for a single three star invention.
Seems kinda moronic
bro... the artificiery reworn is in the BB
What artificery invention should I research? Are all they just garbage that give small buffs to my artificer divisions that I will never use?
There are some good ones, like the black damestear bullet that gives 5% discipline.
Some others give movement speed, free policy slots and monthly monarch power.
>and monthly monarch power.
Those are the worse, if anything you'd want to spend monarch power not preserve it, 5% APC is much more worth when your monthly income is above 20, which it would be by the point you can get them for most tags.
Here's your next Serpentspine contender race bro
Shame that after the mechanim, they're not adding new races to Anbennar. I wonder what kind of playstyle the skaven would have if they were added.
For some evil Warhammer Fantasy races like Greenskins and Skaven I imagine it'd play like Anbennar monstrous races but without demonsterization and other conquered races permanently locked at "slave" or "food". Be interesting to see a Warhammer overhaul mod with mechanics ripped from Anbennar
Skaven
>extremely cheap and large army that can easily recover from casualties
>has decent siege options
>army quality (stats/pips) is middling, and gets slightly worse over time
>religion has gimmicks that cause devastation/economic damage to opponents as an attacker
>soft-artificer race similar to dwarves, reverians, or kvahaga gnolls
Greenskins
>basically just old dookan orcs lol
>Ogres
>Literally just Maghargma
Wasn't Insyaa supposed to have bugs too or did that get cut?
it's not public where that's at right now, but from what we can hear the insyaa lead seems to want the ants but Jay(?) is saying nah, probably because adding 2 new races that only show up on an isolated side continent is an egregious waste of performance and dev time
antbros sound cool but there's no reason they should be insyaa only. They sound like they could be a new subterranean race that digs hives like holds, shame not to have them in the serpentspine.
>probably because adding 2 new races that only show up on an isolated side continent
Sounds like a dumb reason to me, outside of obviously humans and elves/goblins/orcs most races are restricted to just one or two regions already, there's nothing wrong with Insyaa getting its fair share.
>most races are restricted to just one or two regions already
Yeah and that's kind of a mistake. Which has been getting slowly rectified over the course of the game, like harpies used to pretty much be in one place and now they're all over, and because of that you have many different kinds of harpies. Martial arts harpies, screeching madwoman harpies, beautiful elf-harpies, gerudian valkyrie harpies, and so on. If you have a race only in one location they're basically a boring monolith, either because that's how they're designed or because one of them inevitably eats the others and makes them all the same. Of course you don't want every race in every region because that's boring too, but still
The other thing is that insyaa is so isolated it doesn't matter how many races there are, because it's just another lake fed situation. You can have 27 different kinds of lakefed cities or ant colonies or whatever, they're just a blob-in-waiting because they're too far away from anything to matter. And lore-wise it's extremely unlikely any races added there could appear anywhere else in the game, even in future updates. unlike say, ogres that were added to FP but got put elsewhere in vastly different incarnations. So for that reason I feel like one new race is more than its fair share.
I would actually rather have wood elves become their own race than have 2 races in Insyaa, they're so different they deserve their own flavor events and different tolerance level in Cannor. At least then you'd be wasting performance on something people will see.
>Forbidden Plains
>Serpentspine
>Insyaa
>Valley
>Deepwoods
This mode sure loves its isolated regions
It's because of how the regions were added on one by one. There's no reason the "deepwoods" should even be its own separate region, wood elves and forest gobs are supposed to be all over Escann. The entrance shouldn't be little chokepoints either, the verdant veil is gone anyway.
>Forbidden Plains
This one is the worst, and the shittiest part is that if you make it less isolated it's just Bulwar/Daengun/Jiantsang food in 90% of games
there's some kind of convoluted system being cooked up to make it less easy to roll over, supposed to represent making outposts in the region or something. Which is just the colonization system with but bolted on and more janky. They just don't wanna bite the bullet and make the MIGRATING NOMADS moveable OPMs again. instead there's some weird moving capital shit and 9000 dev lakefed still unifies every game with all institutions
I don't think Insyaa is really comparable to FP or these other regions that are just heavily landlocked and thus impossible to interact with if you aren't in the region. Insyaa is coastal and colonizable, it'll be no more isolated than Aelantir is (after the storm gets opened up).
Problem with new races is that half the suggestions are some kind of furry. one of the best things Jay has done is keep the furries in check. We already having khets and gnolls and fricking tony the tiger walking around and now half a continent of scalies and furgays want even MORE. It's never enough, not until there's 37 different flavors of animal-folx to make quirky self inserts with. By the way I fricking hate the trend of saying "folk" for races, just say mermen or lizardmen etc, it sounds way cooler
>lizardMEN
theres your problem chud
Kept furries in check? You know that 2 previous senior devs (rubedo and bulatix) are furries and they worked on the Gnolls? Also yinquan was made by a furry.
Is this homie jay writing a book or smth? or will his legacy be a eu4 mod
yeah he is
its about nurcestir (some escann literaly who's) going sickomode
How shit is Azkare? worth a playthrough?
it was made by a troony if that says anything
It has FORCED racemixing.
I fricking threw up reading those half elf events
you telling me Azkare is Paraguaycore?
There is literally nothing wrong about the beautiful union of man and elf.
You mean Hiderion conquering that women's country taking her prisoner and then fricking her once she's got enough Stockholm syndrome?
It's a good time except for the last mission that requires you to have like 15 dev in every single province in Haless, just completely mind-numbing.
God it feels so fricking good too just destroy Lorent for once
oh so when Grombar forces you too marry a 7 foot tall tomboy it's "based" but when Azkare makes the cute elven girls marry disgusting old human men it's suddenly "cringe"?
If anything it's old disgusting sun elves forcing cute human girls to marry them.
The event makes it one hundred percent clear that Mya proposed to Hiderion and generally was more romantically active, while he was a geeky idealist, caring more for the prosperity of Haless than siring half-elves, although that also happens eventually.
friendly reminder that Elven prostitutes will literally groom entire generations of human men so they will do anything they are told.
new bread

I need more drama
