I put 4k and I am Garyu/Shinryu because I have no talent. I recommend the game if you have talent, you can probably tell right away. If you have no talent it sucks. I'd say most of the time I'm angry as I play, though there are some fun scraps here and there.

How do I even block or punish after block in this game? When an enemy blocks my attacks they punish with 1054254235234 hp combo, and if I block their chain (which is a rare occurance in the first place) they just block my punish immediately and then punish me. I'm completely new to fighting games btw.
most strings have duckable highs or parts you can easily low parry,press your triggers after the game to save it as a replay and then check the framedata as well to see their frames

Don't worry about it it comes with time so for now just enjoy playing. I'd highly advice you to learn to low parry junk yard though since its one of the only strings which low parrying is required or else youll be abused
Some more f the opponents moves are safe on block. Also your punish might need to be faster. Tekken as a whole is a guessing game unless you're autistic enough to remember every characters moves and which moves to use to punish.
check your match replays, they went out of their way to explain what strings you can duck and what moves you can punish (and how)

Don't call a character hard just because they have some high execution stuff. Fundamentally she's hard because she doesn't do very much damage and doesn't get much reward off any of her moves. Dragunov has just as much execution, if not more. His entire gameplan revolves around a move that needs like 6 frame-perfect inputs to perform perfectly. But he's an easy character because his hit boxes are big and have priority and he gets rewarded when he uses his moves.

Asuka's issue right now is that her movement is dogshit
And she's a character that controls space well, so taking her already average movement and nerfing it further turned her zoning type playstyle completely unvalid.
Now you have no choice but to play her like Xiaoyu and do nothing but abuse her evasion properties.
That's not how I played Asuka in T7, that's why I dropped her until they give her some backdash speed back.
Of course it's clear why they did it, because they don't want turtle playstyle and T8 is very offense-oriented. But she's also not very good at offense still.
