Dog shit art style, plus every single game in the series except for S;G was steaming shit. S;G was a fluke and the exception.

Are you sure the other games weren't merely decent, and just paled in comparison to SG?

SG is shit too and got hyped up by anime gays.

there's like, 6 mainline sciadv vns? 3 of them being good is pretty good.

Dog shit art style, plus every single game in the series except for S;G was steaming shit. S;G was a fluke and the exception.

sg:0 and chaos child are better than s:g imho

I really love the song in the video, and the general aesthetic and themes, but S;G0 and C;C sucked, so my interest in Sci;Adv is tepid at best

I'll be playing it in yuzu. I hope the premise is actually more interesting than it seems because the plot synopsis on the official site and these characters are not very exciting. It's too bad xenoblade 3 got pushed up and is now releasing the day after A;C, I imagine that will probably draw some attention away from it. I'll try to play them both at the same time, just switching between them when the other gets boring.

why not just play the Steam version?

Presumably he's going to play it in moonrunes on release and it won't be on PC until it's localized.

Spike Chunsoft are incompetent localizers and censor almost everything they work on. I'm no longer excited to hear when they'll release a game when I know I'll have to wait until months later when Committee of Zero releases a patch to fix the numerous issues and mistakes in the official translation.

I've heard that A;C is going to be translated by ReadingSteiner.

It seems that A;C will be translated by Steiner, so the translation should be fine, at least.

It's the first Sci;Adv game I've been excited for in a while. The info we have atm is kinda dry, but it looks to be more grounded than usual, which is good. S;G and S;G0 worked for me because the lack of the usual Sci;Adv giant anime swords mecha bullshit allowed the characters to shine so much more in comparison, and this one looks closer in tone to them than C;H or R;N.
C;HN getting a proper PC release is cool too. I've played the original, but I wasn't feeling the whole gigalomaniac stuff after expecting a mystery story about a schizo NEET (which is admittedly my moronic mistake), but I've heard Noah is miles better.

      Anonymous

      I'd argue that R;N is more grounded than S;G and S;G 0.

The only VNs the kids on this site like anymore are either moege with sex or plotge with rape and murder

Since everybody is ranking their Sci-ADV experiences, and knowing I haven't read R;N yet, here's my objectively correct opinion

    Steins;Gate > Chaos;Head >>> GARBAGE >>> Chaos;Child >>> SHIT >>> Steins;Gate 0

People don't like some games my man, its not a personal assault on you.
That being said I'd like to see how you defend the mess that Zero was.

          Lmao what a dumb reply

I want to hear your opinions dammit. I'm just curious

            Anonymous

Not the one you asked originally but Zero was a pacing nightmare due to the way the routes worked, it also overly relied on complete ass-pulls and false herrings like the whole shit with Kaguri.
That coupled with not actually doing its real story until the anime since the game skipped that route just leaves a bad taste.
Everything to do with Okabe's PTSD and his timeline jumping going out of control were actually really interesting though, though I felt it squandered that premise.

              Anonymous

Yeah actually the first part of the game was the best, after that I was in it for Maho. Honestly Sci;Adv never knows how to stick the landing

                Anonymous

Maho was a good character but I feel that her story works as a meta criticism of its own story, she's constantly chasing Kurisu in the same way the games trying to chase the story of the original game.

        *hits mountain view*

I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than real booting an imaginary friend. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are befriending her, spending all your free time with her, listening to her troubles and problems, and learning everything (you think you know) about her for at least 6 years, solely so she can frame you for some murders, kill your sisters, then go and get ravaged by another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful imaginary friend - going shopping with her on weekends to carry her bags, playing detective with her around the city and in your club room, hanging out in your cramped RV with her doing journalist stuff, buying her accessories that she plays with all the time. having delusions about ravaging her. All of it has one simple result: her body is more enjoyable for the men that will eventually frick her in every hole.

Raised the imaginary friend? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the way she grew up, who marries her. He gets to frick her tight pussy every night while she squeezes her gero froggy strap, and says "ehehe" while having an orgasm. He gets the benefits of her kind and sweet amnesiac serial killer personality that came from the way you raised her.

As a man who has an imaginary friend, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 6 years of your life simply to raise a girl for another man to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically. I didn't and I'm serving life in prison, have the body of an old man, and can only use the internet once a year (like right now) when my detective friend lets me.

      Chaos;Child Common route > Steins;Gate = Robotics;Notes > Chaos;Head > Chaos;Child > Robotics;Notes DaSH > Steins;Gate 0

I take it back, C;C is pure shit but that's mainly because of the routes and twists towards the end/ending
The common route was good and had potential, though you put C;H way too low as NoaH is way better than R;N

Although I haven't read NoaH yet, so it's true that it might change my opinion on C;H. Currently I think the heroines are not very interesting and that the VN is carried by Takumi.
