Yeah I don't really get Gaia why they made him a self insert at the last second when he is nothing close to one and already is together with Barboros so it will never feel genuine when he gets with others. You can already gift him stuff like any other character too.
If i remember shit right then Monthly Pass (Provided you log in each day it has the best "value" IIRC and it makes you able to pull like roughly once a day when paired with the normal log-in table IIRC and you get Gifts, Skip tickets stamina drinks) and Scout (Select) ticket packs when they are available so you can just bypass the Gacha and get the guy you want wihout question. Referrals (Random) are a trap in my opinion even if they have more recent pool of units.

Okay I’m a newish player I tried to play back when the game launched but it was unbearable but now with the PC client my old laptop can actually run the game. I want to know if my current plan is the best use of stamina which is to try and get the tickets from the Hole-y Night rerun and the New Year’s event exchange before they end to replace the tickets and stones I used to get characters. Also is there anything specific I need to know about the game or is it basically standard Gacha stuff?
Use your favorites but have a team that is somewhat varied in roles. Vanguard are almost always a must Lute, Seals are probably the best for afk cost generating. Gatcha has no pity so only do single rolls and only roll on limited since nonlimited can spook you at any point. So much so they can even show up on the flyer summon despite being super rare. Try to get tickets, secrets and backgrounds since they won't be open after the shop closes.

anados has existed for 2 years and already has great variety, housamo has existed since 2016 and has 800 dogmen and a handful of other options. i'm not gonna deny that it has plenty of good designs in it but when i look at how good the current roster is, yup, i'm thinking anados is king.

alt versions of a character's scenes may be teased on the banner but actually release later if the banner is new, so the only one with those two is the story cg. the slots are all for the ones that are already in the game, so what you see is what you get, you just need to unlock them

Because Barboros kept changing him to whatever he wanted putting a shadow king of anger inside him. Barboros decides he wants to destroy the world and start over since he thought it was a mistake. Atmos gets tired of it and fights him to stop and wins, but ends putting himself to sleep so he doesn't go on a rampage. Chapter has a dumb fight on who gets Gaia but in the end it doesn't matter and Atmos could have saved everyone the trouble if he stayed with the devil then trying to end the world like Barboros did.

Forgot to mention Atmos couldn't handle Barboros blood so he was pretty much a failure unlike Gaia. You see him hit Gaia and lick his blood at one point.

The whole thing is a mess really. Wedding event kind of just makes the whole issue even more pointless.

Okay since I’ve started playing again about 3 weeks ago I’ve probably summoned maybe 100 to 200 characters using flyers and I know the rates aren’t 100% known But I got Wrecker twice first was last week and now again today. What are the freaking odds of him being my first and second flyer 5 star?
God Corca is such a love hate character for me. I like his design and as a playable character his ability to take damage for others combined with Elaine’s global heal has literally let me cheese three stars on some of the harder stages from the recent revivals but he’s a cheater and I don’t care for that at all.
I am just hoping its not slime shit again. He is so much better without it. I personally wish he just liked gay sex but without the romance and still loved his wife yet still has his gay needs. Barlitz kind of ruined that and what is worse is they never either had him eventually get with Barlitz or tell the wife. Part of me feels like the wife already knows or maybe she was cheating at some point. Bonus points if its the boar guy who fricked him first.

If i remember the poll right i also think voters picked 5 characters or something (and no double dipping, though you could opt out) so even if people considered say Baccarat their favourite and they also put a vote on their second liked character those votes would be equal, so a character who isn't THE favorite character but generally liked by a lot of people can out perform characters who are the THE favorite of even slightly fewer people. This kind of system has that kind of flaw. Or im mixing it up with the LAH polls that used similar system after the first year.

The actual difference is generally more organizational since by its anonymous nature organizing shit here is a nightmare so even "Ganker spawned" shit usually ends up getting a secondary non-anonymous communication spot which is usually something free like Discord to actually get things rolling, which means shit posted here is usually just by one person as opposed to group efforts, and as such prone to error or not being very fast because people can't be held to standards and verification of if their "guide" is actually good or not or if it is their own conclusion or if they are just parroting things they heard other anons say and it is really easy to take credit for stuff Ganker Anons actually makes or provides, just look at that FRICK OFF REDDIT debacle FGO had.
The advantage of course is that Ganker is "anonymous" (Not really, but enough comparatively) so people are more bolstered to post things that could get them in trouble (IE: Leaks) here compared to compiling data that is already out there which is usually best shifted though as a group effort where people can be held to their mistakes.

Of course rippers and guidemakers will collect themselves onto the former these days, but that doesn't mean the latter never does anything, but it does mean the latter does things at a lower quality which is why most anons don't bother, It is kinda like how sites like Gamefaqs and derivatives fell out of favor, either they took too long to make/upload stuff or they had poor QA so that Urban Legends ended up on the secrets page.
That said, i will admit i don't really use many OTHER /vmg/ threads and talk more about the site in a wider general sense and am including "Offsite" communities that still identify as "Ganker Anons".
My point is more that people will steal credit if they can, so Ganker is inherently unattractive to organize and post new info that took effort to get/make on and the history that it HAS happened is why people shy away from doing it now, not that the current "generation" is doing it. 5 sp, automatic: when he attacks he consumes 1 cost to do 220% (at level 1) damage. if you can't afford this, he'll burn himself. which will probably never happen i guess. just seems weird to me for a blocker skill.
Its almost impossible to burn himself since its one cost and takes a bit to charge and has a chance to not take cost too. He is 15 cost which is cheap than most defenders. I am not sure if his damage is super worth it.
I mean seems good for a rear guard just have someone in front of him and then he can guard the portal as a last resort? He only consumes cost when he attacks so just sitting on the board is enough to fuel him unless you keep dropping high costers.

The game is so piss easy I don't think you will ever need any real broken unit in the game. They add in one small mechanic of stun. Only to never use it again and release like five units who counter it despite just damage ignoring it all together. Hell even the unblockable ghosts can be blocked now. I'm saying it again. Free pulls, paid pulls, nothing guarantees you a character. Ever. It doesn't matter how much "Effort" you put into playing this. You can't spawn more dragon stones or tickets with any amount of "Effort". You simply cannot. There's a FINITE amount of stones in the stages and a finite amount of tickets in the shops. Period. You cannot "farm" for more at will 24 hours a day, if that was possible everyone would just infinite farm resources. When you clear the shop and do the stages you are done, finished. Your only choice for more is to spend money.
Not everyone is going to get every character they want, if they still want to watch the porn scenes on pornhub or whatever that is perfectly okay and anons should be encouraged to share with each other their videos. This way everyone can watch the scenes regardless if they got lucky or not in the game. The only person that would block this and say "no, that is not right" is somehow being personally attacked by anons sharing free content with each other. And that sounds VERY suspiciously like someone that wants anons to spend money until they get their character in-game the "normal" way. I disagree with this in someways. I think there are a few games that have decent core gameplay but then have the usual skinner box thrown onto it that makes it really tough to enjoy. We even have a few anons in this thread that want more from the game's gameplay, like more 100 challenge stages. It's just that the game is certainly more focused on the designs because that is the core of what makes them money. Overall I do agree though, this is mostly semantics.

If i remember shit right then Monthly Pass (Provided you log in each day it has the best "value" IIRC and it makes you able to pull like roughly once a day when paired with the normal log-in table IIRC and you get Gifts, Skip tickets stamina drinks) and Scout (Select) ticket packs when they are available so you can just bypass the Gacha and get the guy you want wihout question. Okay I’m a newish player I tried to play back when the game launched but it was unbearable but now with the PC client my old laptop can actually run the game. I want to know if my current plan is the best use of stamina which is to try and get the tickets from the Hole-y Night rerun and the New Year’s event exchange before they end to replace the tickets and stones I used to get characters. Also is there anything specific I need to know about the game or is it basically standard Gacha stuff?
Use your favorites but have a team that is somewhat varied in roles. Vanguard are almost always a must Lute, Seals are probably the best for afk cost generating. Gatcha has no pity so only do single rolls and only roll on limited since nonlimited can spook you at any point. So much so they can even show up on the flyer summon despite being super rare. Try to get tickets, secrets and backgrounds since they won't be open after the shop closes.

alt versions of a character's scenes may be teased on the banner but actually release later if the banner is new, so the only one with those two is the story cg. the slots are all for the ones that are already in the game, so what you see is what you get, you just need to unlock them

I was looking on the wiki and did they really release Folker then barely a month later give him a limited alt? If so that’s crazy I’ve never seen a character get an alt that soon after their initial release aside from launch units in all the other Gacha games I’ve played.

i like them too. some of them i still haven't managed to 4 star (though i probably could, but it can be tedious to fail it over and over while trying to figure out things like where flying enemies will approach). plus you get to see funny stuff you don't normally, like being able to transform/untransform Rasho multiple times and see his attack bonus go beyond +1000
Why did Barbaros and Atmos break up? I'm on pain meds right now and I don't want to reread the chapter.
Because Barboros kept changing him to whatever he wanted putting a shadow king of anger inside him. Barboros decides he wants to destroy the world and start over since he thought it was a mistake. Atmos gets tired of it and fights him to stop and wins, but ends putting himself to sleep so he doesn't go on a rampage. Chapter has a dumb fight on who gets Gaia but in the end it doesn't matter and Atmos could have saved everyone the trouble if he stayed with the devil then trying to end the world like Barboros did.

Barboros did almost nothing in the chapter beyond just say he exists again for Atmos to have a total melt down that Gaia wasn't fully in love with him and didn't care Barboros did bad things. It doesn't help Atmos ended up doing the same shit that he was against while marrying Lucifer who is just as abusive while raping and beating anyone that goes against him and was fine with genociding. The whole thing is a mess really. Wedding event kind of just makes the whole issue even more pointless.

Okay since I’ve started playing again about 3 weeks ago I’ve probably summoned maybe 100 to 200 characters using flyers and I know the rates aren’t 100% known But I got Wrecker twice first was last week and now again today. What are the freaking odds of him being my first and second flyer 5 star?
God Corca is such a love hate character for me. I like his design and as a playable character his ability to take damage for others combined with Elaine’s global heal has literally let me cheese three stars on some of the harder stages from the recent revivals but he’s a cheater and I don’t care for that at all.
I am just hoping its not slime shit again. He is so much better without it. I personally wish he just liked gay sex but without the romance and still loved his wife yet still has his gay needs. Barlitz kind of ruined that and what is worse is they never either had him eventually get with Barlitz or tell the wife. Part of me feels like the wife already knows or maybe she was cheating at some point. Bonus points if its the boar guy who fricked him first.

This kind of system has that kind of flaw. Or im mixing it up with the LAH polls that used similar system after the first year.

I've actually started to go back and read the story of the game and it's only alright so far. I just skipped a ton to make progress when I started out but I kinda like some of the characters. The lore is weird though.

Its almost impossible to burn himself since its one cost and takes a bit to charge and has a chance to not take cost too. He is 15 cost which is cheap than most defenders. I am not sure if his damage is super worth it.

I can never really get into Konohanaya’s art. I tend to like how he draws bodies for the most part but I heavily dislike how he draws dicks and in some cases balls too.
It's pretty ridiculous that the best Healers are actually Supports and the best Guards are actually Fighters. Strangers are basically nonexistent, when they do get printed they're almost always gimmicks that need to be built around to be playable. Game might as well just have 5 classes

The game is so piss easy I don't think you will ever need any real broken unit in the game. They add in one small mechanic of stun. Only to never use it again and release like five units who counter it despite just damage ignoring it all together. Hell even the unblockable ghosts can be blocked now. Which is why I say use your favorites.

Yes shit was bugged and the flying enemies swarmed you so much. Skills were broken and people didn't have units leveled. Now its pretty easy to catch up and have a decent team.
Some kind of content would be nice for sure, Arknights is fun since it feels more like a sandbox of teambuilding but here everyone is so powerful that it feels pointless to swap around units. It's tough to really do anything other than the skip 5 times a day and move on. I don't even have most of my skills leveled and I can still clear the 100 Unit challenge.

You can't spawn more dragon stones or tickets with any amount of "Effort". You simply cannot. There's a FINITE amount of stones in the stages and a finite amount of tickets in the shops. Period. You cannot "farm" for more at will 24 hours a day, if that was possible everyone would just infinite farm resources. When you clear the shop and do the stages you are done, finished. Your only choice for more is to spend money.
Not everyone is going to get every character they want, if they still want to watch the porn scenes on pornhub or whatever that is perfectly okay and anons should be encouraged to share with each other their videos. This way everyone can watch the scenes regardless if they got lucky or not in the game. The only person that would block this and say "no, that is not right" is somehow being personally attacked by anons sharing free content with each other. I disagree with this in someways. I think there are a few games that have decent core gameplay but then have the usual skinner box thrown onto it that makes it really tough to enjoy. We even have a few anons in this thread that want more from the game's gameplay, like more 100 challenge stages. It's just that the game is certainly more focused on the designs because that is the core of what makes them money. Overall I do agree though, this is mostly semantics.

i agree that the 100 challenge stages in this game, and even some of the harder 4 star missions, are pretty fun. but i'd still rather be playing a "real" video game most of the time. fortunately, anados gives you so little stamina per day that it doesn't even eat into your time, so it's pretty nice in that regard.
i think you're overestimating how strongly i feel about this, man. a game doesn't have to be "good" for me to like it. i like anados because it's got hot guys, occasionally offers up okay challenge content, and the scenarios are fun to read. would i call it good? no, but i do like it, especially compared to other mobage i've played.
