Atmos was basically right about him, but Gaia points out he doesn't care anymore. Given enough time I think even Barboros will grow bored of Gaia and leave him too, but it's still too soon. I do wish the story would stop having everything in his favor. Like Bal didn't even need to do anything for Atmos to lose his shit and ruin everything.

i haven't played housamo but live a hero is fricking awful about this. they constantly pussy out of making characters overtly gay, and some of them (like viktom) even allude to their wife and kid.
I havent played Housamo in a long time, but it wasnt much better from what I remember.

i've played a lot of gacha games, and in the ones that don't bill themselves as "for gays" i'm fine with and even like female characters. i put a decent bit of time into heaven burns red, it was one of my favorites, and that's literally all female characters and even yuri on top of that. lah was a game that i had certain expectations of and didn't meet them. anados is 5000x better in that regard.
I can't tell if it really fricking annoys me that the last 20 levels of leveling up a character are barely worth it from a cost perspective because of how miniscule the stat gains are, or if it's fine because it just means you can use them sooner.

I think that is my problem with Housamo is the game isn't fun and I can just wait for fanart. Gacha has no pity for 6 stars, prices for in game purchases are high, paid bundles for 6 stars are random outside of anniversary so you could get a dupe of a 6 star from the event banner you already have (think pulling a wedding folker for $45 when you rolled him already with free currency beforehand), some characters take forever to get sex scenes, dupes have no real value outside of a tiny stat bonus that really doesn't matter and cannot be exchanged for more gacha currency. Biggest weakness of this game is the lack of currency you get as a f2p.

In case people haven't read the patch notes, for this patch you need to uninstall the game and reinstall it. The reason for it is that the intimacy bonuses seem to now be implemented in the game, with the "Nature Boost" being removed.
Of course they couldn't be bothered to test it or finish programming it correctly before implementing it. Trying to level up a character with bonuses unlocked causes the stat increases to display as stat decreases.
I also noticed the COST refund for withdrawing vanguards like Seals is broken again and the newest event quests don't give 25 pillows like they're supposed to. Great.
This event is technically canon since it brings up the next chapter with some info. Elaine is still with Jalam and gave the vessel to them. It's not working anymore without Gaia doing his feelings moment with Barb. Yab asks Zach to marry him in order to activate it and saying it would be for the best. Zach agrees since it's the will of the gods. Jalam gets upset and tells them they can't despite having no reason. They also point they are moral and he is wanting to use the vessel to get eternal life. Hybris seems to be up to something cares about Elaine's feelings a bit.
Natures are this game's word for the character's passive. Like Elaine's stage wide healing or Leonhart's ramping attack speed as he kills enemies or Lute's defense and attack buff when he's deployed 1 space away from any ally unit.
A nature boost would have increased the effectiveness of the character's passive.
I see, that's how they will do the summer re-run. A new unit, the Azmond alt, is added to the old banners. So now you can try for him in either of the daytime banners.
I want Fu, but I have the others and want to try to get Jalam and spend the rest on night time. What I don't look forward to is Forte alt coming along with night time if following the pattern of all leaders getting an alt. You think Azmond would be part of the nighttime phase.
I'm glad they're rerunning the Summer event. I've saved up like 5 - 10 pulls for it. Summer Jalam is the only beastman I can think of in game that feet panders that hard.
Knowing my luck I'll just pull the 6*'s I have no desire for multiple times and miss out again for another year.

So this thread made me install the game and see what it's like. One week and a half later, I just completed chapter 4 and I gotta say, despite liking the story and characters, what sealed the deal for me was how it made me laugh so goddamn hard with it's choices of words and music, it legitimately became one of my favorites and I can't wait to see more.

In case anyone's curious, since I read on the patch notes. For the 6 and 5 star selector you can buy you get up to the latest banner of permanent units, meaning Gamela and Maxtla. You can also choose from every limited unit from the last years banners, summer and winter, in case any of those speak to you.
All the limiteds that have been released this year so far can't be chosen in the selector ticket. So no Hyper Nitro, Jade Horse, or Buff Kafka until 2nd Ani or next year.

UI is still kind of ehh. The game can be cleared with free units that are already strong. There is no real meta. Translation still varies but damn do they really come up with the funniest shit. I don't really spend money on the game until they add pity.
"Pity" in this game is these scout bundle tickets you can buy with real money but you're guaranteed 1 of whatever rarity unit of the type you purchased, and you can choose which one you want. Just make sure the bundle says "Scout" and not "Referral". Referral is a random grab bag.

The material is good, but it really depends on what/if you are upgrading, Emptied out every shop up until now and i feel like i have pretty big surplus of everything but Skill Book 3 and gold (because levelling to Cap is pretty expensive) since i only upgrade the dudes (and Elaine) I used my extra Staminade grinding Gift boxes (the 17 stamina exploration one gives ~3 Purple ones, so 15 affinity) for the hell of it I know when the game released people grinded for Flyers more then anything, but that was also due a glitch or something IIRC.
Generally speaking though it wouldn't hurt to empty the shop (Prio Skill books and rarer mates) to prepare for potential future characters you pull so you can upgrade/cap them immediately.

How much free currency does this game give on a month to month basis? I'm sure the math has been done? stones+tickets included. I'm curious how viable it is to have any chance to get units without having to spend money. I refuse to drop a cent on phone games
Let's look at the beach event: 16 stages, 8 of which are battles (can be done at 4 stars for an extra stone) + 2 bonus stages (total of 4 tickets). Then the event store will let you get 10 tickets. So that's 24 stones plus 14 tickets. We have maintenance once a week, which usually gives 4 stones, so that's another 16 for 40. A month of logging in gives about 10 stones and 5 tickets, so basically if we have a new event we get around 50 stones and 15 tickets. If we don't have a new event then the stone count goes down drastically, but the tickets will be about the same. This is just a halfassed quick look so if anyone has a better total on hand then respond with it.

Gacha has no pity for 6 stars, prices for in game purchases are high, paid bundles for 6 stars are random outside of anniversary so you could get a dupe of a 6 star from the event banner you already have (think pulling a wedding folker for $45 when you rolled him already with free currency beforehand), some characters take forever to get sex scenes, dupes have no real value outside of a tiny stat bonus that really doesn't matter and cannot be exchanged for more gacha currency. Biggest weakness of this game is the lack of currency you get as a f2p.

In case people haven't read the patch notes, for this patch you need to uninstall the game and reinstall it. The reason for it is that the intimacy bonuses seem to now be implemented in the game, with the "Nature Boost" being removed.
They really can't do anything right and still have barely made any improvements.

This event is technically canon since it brings up the next chapter with some info. Elaine is still with Jalam and gave the vessel to them. It's not working anymore without Gaia doing his feelings moment with Barb. Yab asks Zach to marry him in order to activate it and saying it would be for the best. Zach agrees since it's the will of the gods. Jalam gets upset and tells them they can't despite having no reason. They also point they are moral and he is wanting to use the vessel to get eternal life. Hybris seems to be up to something cares about Elaine's feelings a bit.

In case anyone's curious, since I read on the patch notes. For the 6 and 5 star selector you can buy you get up to the latest banner of permanent units, meaning Gamela and Maxtla. You can also choose from every limited unit from the last years banners, summer and winter, in case any of those speak to you.
All the limiteds that have been released this year so far can't be chosen in the selector ticket. So no Hyper Nitro, Jade Horse, or Buff Kafka until 2nd Ani or next year.

UI is still kind of ehh. The game can be cleared with free units that are already strong. There is no real meta. Translation still varies but damn do they really come up with the funniest shit. I don't really spend money on the game until they add pity.
"Pity" in this game is these scout bundle tickets you can buy with real money but you're guaranteed 1 of whatever rarity unit of the type you purchased, and you can choose which one you want. Just make sure the bundle says "Scout" and not "Referral". Referral is a random grab bag.

Finally got Summer Jalam. All is right with the world.

so far I got all the tickets and the staminades and EXP books but I'm missing all the like skill up material shits. I have 218 extra rich staminades. Or do i not want to be doing this?
The material is good, but it really depends on what/if you are upgrading, Emptied out every shop up until now and i feel like i have pretty big surplus of everything but Skill Book 3 and gold (because levelling to Cap is pretty expensive) since i only upgrade the dudes (and Elaine) I used my extra Staminade grinding Gift boxes (the 17 stamina exploration one gives ~3 Purple ones, so 15 affinity) for the hell of it I know when the game released people grinded for Flyers more then anything, but that was also due a glitch or something IIRC.
Generally speaking though it wouldn't hurt to empty the shop (Prio Skill books and rarer mates) to prepare for potential future characters you pull so you can upgrade/cap them immediately.

How much free currency does this game give on a month to month basis? I'm sure the math has been done? stones+tickets included. I'm curious how viable it is to have any chance to get units without having to spend money. I refuse to drop a cent on phone games

Let's look at the beach event: 16 stages, 8 of which are battles (can be done at 4 stars for an extra stone) + 2 bonus stages (total of 4 tickets). Then the event store will let you get 10 tickets. So that's 24 stones plus 14 tickets. We have maintenance once a week, which usually gives 4 stones, so that's another 16 for 40. A month of logging in gives about 10 stones and 5 tickets, so basically if we have a new event we get around 50 stones and 15 tickets. If we don't have a new event then the stone count goes down drastically, but the tickets will be about the same. This is just a halfassed quick look so if anyone has a better total on hand then respond with it.
