They did? The only thing I could find was a passing statement to the Washington Post that Todd made since likely the only thing those guys knew about Bethesda IS Skyrim. Even then it was followed up by Ashley Cheng saying it was kind of like a "Han Solo" simulator. Nowhere else was this game talked about as even close to being the "THE next Skyrim 2: Space". It even said right in the Direct that "you explore differently in this game".

it's a pretty fair assessment, he's played through it to ng10 or something and even leveled up all the 24 powers which looks to be a slog of epic proportions, im a starfield enjoyer but the game is a mess, it looks good visually and the ship building is good along with ballistic weapons but that's about it. snoys will love this video. he's shitting on it for almost all of the 4 hours so far.

That's not much better. Why is there a high poly sandwich model just for loading screens? Why load special assets into memory just for a load screen? Why waste the disk space when the game is already massive at 120GB?

the writing is shit, the presentation of the writing is shit, there's like 12 outposts in the entire fricking game that all take too long to get through and there's no radio storytelling or narration to get you through it. play the division 2 if you want to know how to make missions replayable.
