>antagonistic behaviour

Who are you quoting?
Devs probably
>how she could kill you instantly
>At this point of the game I deal at least 25 damage per action on my monk with 95% chance to hit and that's not accounting for Stunning Strike cheese
I'd love to see her try. In fact I will see her try on my next playthrough if the possibility to fight her exists.
It's called a cutscene, chud, you have no power there
>feminist propaganda is okay because it's the year 1990
How are you recovering from your bottom surgery, bro?
There is a strength check to get out of vines, no? Can't I antagonize her and beat her face afterwards? Or straight up attack her in the tavern?
I'm pretty sure she just threatens you even more if you try to get out of the vines. It's pathetic though, no matter how OP your character is and how you might be roleplaying as a badass, your character vinces like a little girl and is visibly afraid in the cutscene with her
>and is visibly afraid in the cutscene with her
Your character is always visibly afraid, and happy, and sad, you can tell Larian REALLY wanted you to look at their facial expressions
yeah, real impressive how they make every female character look like fricking shit, even Shadowheart sometimes
>one of the pet Black folk i saved comes up and says "whitey is coo"
the power of friendship mogs her arcane lark
My Tav got out of the vines without any semblance of fear, but then the little tiefling girl rushed in and told the elf c**t with russian accent that I'm okay, so she fricked off.
What I noticed was an actual afterthought/bug was that I never mentioned the artifact to her, but before the conversation ended, it shown my character putting the artifact back in the butthole and once inside, Jaheira mentioned how "guess you're different on the account of your artifact protecting you" - again, without it ever coming up in the conversation before.
>It's called a cutscene, chud, you have no power there
>Admits they have to take away control from everyone else in order to pretend they won
Lel, nice confession.
>In fact I will see her try on my next playthrough if the possibility to fight her exists.
Just refuse to act like a submissive b***h when entering Last Light Inn and she'll commit suicide by attacking you.
And you'll lose even more content.
larian's "evil path" is just murderhobo devoid of quests.
Act 2 was long enough without any extra quests getting in the way.
Long as in dragged on.
> I deal at least 25 damage per action on my monk with 95% chance to hit aaaand
LMAO is this how turn basedboys flex?
>LMAO is this how turn basedboys flex?
it is very sad indeed
>look how this build i copied can beat this enemy
it's a way of communication that browns cannot decipher: abstract implications
you cannot learn this power
Do small numbers scare you?
nice meltie, homosexual
Thank Christ you homosexuals didn't play the first two games. Seeing you morons in the BG threads for the past decade and a half would have been insufferable.
Imagine the melties some people on this board would have about Shar-Teel.
>A decade and a half of something can make it insufferable
You are so close to getting it
most self aware cog in the machine
If BG1 came out today homosexuals here like OP would say Minsc was reddit
Imagine the shitshow with Viconia.
he is reddit tho
I did. BG3 is not Baldur's Gate.
BG3 isnt a Baldurs Gate game.
>minsc has 12 str
>viconia looks like a mummy and is some crazy ass insane shar cultist now
lol
It takes place around and in Baldur's Gate.
That makes it a Baldur's Gate game.
Baldur's Gate 2 doesn't take place in Baldur's Gate. Therefore BG2 is not a BG game.
>PayDay 2 has Washington DC in it.
>That makes it a Fallout 3 game.
>Grand Theft Auto has California in it.
>That makes it a Fallout New Vegas game.
>God of War Ragnarok has Thor in it.
>That makes it an Avengers game.
See how fricking dumb that sounds?
>my argument is pretending to be dense on purpose
ok
See
>baldur's gate 3 game isnt a baldurs gate game
Profound mental moronation
tourists to Ganker truly are a spectacle. Wonder what made you newfriends chose this site? Did Matt Mercer from the hit podcast "Critical Roll(tm)" accidentally mention Ganker and you had to check it out?
>phoneposter
See the handily attached image.
>he said as he misused a reaction image
Good thing your phone caught all the spelling mistakes for you, friend. 🙂
Tourists who call other tourists while seething when found out never gets old.
Nothing gayer than people gatekeeping 20 year old games
>BG3 isnt a Baldurs Gate game.
Easily said. I've had the game for years now and I have never been able to force myself to finish even act 1.
she shouldn't be alive. I killed her and smashed her into pieces after completing her quest in bg2.
at least they kept her annoying and insufferable.
none of that happens and she looks pretty good for 200 years old
stop being so sensitive.
>The old hag is more attractive than all other female companions, only because she's a character from the original games and they had to respect her design
lol
you bought the game after seeing a ‘hype’ trailer where you frick a bear what did you expect dumb ass cracker
>You can't just kill her as soon as it is convenient and toss her body into the nearest ditch
Why not? That's exactly what I did in my second playthrough, in my first one she died like a b***h in the charge on moonrise, didn't even know she could be a companion
>She is the leader of a tiny group of survivors, literally inches away from destruction by a cosmic evil
>She realizes you have a brain worm just like the members of this cosmic evil and is trying to find your way into her camp
>She does what she needs to do but is still willing to talk
>Once she realizes you are not controlled by the Absolute she is instantly fully cooperative, even calling you their last hope
>If you don't want to convince her you can just get out of those vines and kill her.
>THIS IS CLEARLY WHITE MALE GENOCIDE ALL OVER AGAIN, OH NO, SAVE ME Black personMAN!
That bear really broke this board, huh?
>babby's first "Ganker shits on a popular game" moment
>She is the leader of a tiny group of survivors
a few words into your essay and you already proved my point, gaygt
have a nice day immediately moronic Black person.
Live your life promptly, intelligent white man.
Imagine being this much of a sensitive little snowflake chudcel
>
>"W-what?... NOO!You can't just kill her as soon as it is convenient and toss her body into the nearest ditch. SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR HEKCING STRONG FEMALE PARTY MEMBER!"
You can do this, so I don't see what your problem is. Jaheira was always like that, they actually did a good job writing her and keeping her true to the old games.
>/pol/cel meltie over wahmyn existing, dressed up as 'legitimate' criticism like always
>But it's a beloved BG2 character so even normal Gankertard will call you fa goot
Bearbroken
I made her and every other woke character die in the town when I let Shadowheart become Justice.
You can't complain about immersion in this game when you can do whatever you want to characters you don't like.
Her attitude for you makes sense. The problem is i was level 7 on Tactician when she tried to kill me and the dialogue options paint me as helpless and desperate. Because of that I made a save and attacked for the hell of it only to fricking slaughter the entire Harper camp. I strongly thought about rolling it with it to be interesting but I had to knock out Barcus Wroot and I didn't want to live that way.
What are you talking about? You can be either flippant or downright threatening when she confronts you.
I remember going with something like "I wish someone would at least say hello first." or something like that.
>arrive in town
>slay the cleric woman
>everyone turns into those shadow creatures
>slaughter them all
>Jaheira has no idea what happened
>have Jaheira stay at my camp
>tell her it was me, I killed everyone
>watch her despair
kino
Is there a video of this
Hopefully somebody makes a supercut with all the dark urge interactions
Im not gonna replay this game for a long while and after a goody two shoes playthrough i would like to check "the other side", im sure there are some cool shit there
Huh? How does she not know that when the moment you kill the cleric she rushes out with you and blames you for the deed? You also have to kill her in that same scene.
>Do this
>Play Durge
>Make her kneel to the first big bad of BG
>Make her watch as you murder Orin and become the chosen of Bhaal
>Murder her and the remaining Harpers on your way out of the temple as she betrays you
>"you can't just kill her as soon as it is convenient"
Pretty sure you can? But there's no reason to unless you're rawr rawr evil or have some other RP reason to do so. But you can kill pretty much anyone can't you? Same as DOS2.
you're a b***h
She, along with everyone else at that inn died by my hands as the dark urge. What's the big deal with her talking big considering that's how she was in the original game and people killed her over it?
Ganker is filled with moronic children who never played the originals.
I didn't fret over it because I got a sick ass demon form.
Seriously battles stopped being hard the moment I got this thing.
Thank frick.
the battles were never hard
god I want mommy jaheira to dominate me
You just described every single female encounter in the game. How can they expect any sane minded person not to just do this?
>You just described every single female encounter in the game
yeah, exactly. You could swap her out for Karlach very easily
Huh? No? When you meet Karlach, she's a cornered dog and it easily turns the tables on how she's actually more vulnerable than the dangerous demon that Wyll was describing.
Meanwhile Jaheira comes out of nowhere, immobilizes and threatens to kill you if not for that True Soul guy bailing you out if you chose the evil path.
Her encounter reminded me of Sebille from DivOs2 but Sebille actually mellows out and becomes best girl
>sorcerer
>push back every attempt of her weak magic with yours
>she gets angry
>tell her to frick off
>notice the poison, tell her she's a b***h but drink it anyway
Feels good not being magicless peon
Yeah drinking the poison as a warlock was cool since she couldn't read your mind anyway.
I dunno she's a much better druid than Halsin, I regret helping the grove in act 1
Damn Jaheira looks like THAT?
she's still got it!
>you can her ancient
>she approves
jaheira is alright in my book
Is it possible to replace Gale with Jaheira?
fellas is there a purple githfrog weapon like this purple version of their armour?
You eventually get a legendary silver sword from Lae'zel's quest.
Yeah man, really afraid.
>your character vinces like a little girl and is visibly afraid in the cutscene
>posts screenshot of dialogue choices
are you ok moron
Just dye it purple.
i wish you could and there isn't even a mod to dye weapons
Jaheira is based af. You probably just can't handle a bit of banter because you're a pussy.
>coming back character done right
>much less annoying than she was in BG1/2
>scared at first but lets up once you prove you're not a cultist
>gives solid advice and fills the role of a mentor without being preachy
>has plenty of interactions in Act 3
>doesn't pout and complain if you poke fun at her, laughs it off instead
>doesn't try to get in your pants like the rest of the cast
>is old and has kids so waifugays don't spam her
>her starting armor is Ganker as frick
>doesn't have a super special origin story
The only downsides are her horrible, horrible performance when assaulting Moonrise tower, to the point where some people struggle to keep her alive and class conflict with Halsin.
>only downside
That's not it, biggest downside is not being able to romance her, many vidya enjoyers would love a milf mommy like her to treat them like the good little anons that they are.
>The only downsides are her horrible, horrible performance when assaulting Moonrise tower
Did people not just climb up the vines and jump to Balthazars room? lol
Only fought a single group upstairs before Ketheric, I assume the Harpers were afk downstairs
I actually didnt, I just jumped over ketherics head from the rafters without triggering the scenes and murdered everyone.
didn't even know that was an option. I went for the frontal assault with the harpers.
Bringing her along in all of act 3 is a joy, she comments on pretty much everything in the city and remembers most of the people there. Even gets you free entry into places by using her reputation or knowledge of different gangs/factions.
and humiliates your character
only if you let her, cuckboi
I ripped out the vines and told her to shut up and you see her going back into the inn with shaking knees while her granny pussy turns into a waterfall
I wish larian wasnt full of homosexuals and would let us romance her
She's a widow
Twice over depending on BG2 romance
I killed this thing the minute I saw it outside Moonrise Towers by turning into the Slayer.
You missed out on one of the best moments of the dark urge playthrough by being a dumb sperg then.
She didn't even exist until she was getting in my way asking if I served the absolute or her. I don't serve either, so she attacked. The game was so fricking boring I didn't really bother to do anything in Act 2 except tell people to kill themselves with speech checks, and I didn't know the little paladin village existed until I came to kill the Black person holding up the force field.
That scene felt a bit silly. They didn't remotely have the equipment or skills beat one.
Didn’t read
Also I just murdered her
>see video game
>get mindbroken
why are chuddies like this?
She is one of the decent characters. In general doesn't act preachy or arrogant like frog face. Also tells you later how you have much more experience with this stuff even with her being much older and supposed to have a ton of experience.
Jaheira was great. Minsc was a total letdown with 0 content
they both came in super late to the game, I don't get why some games do this. I already established my party and got involved with the characters. Liz bugged, out so I took jahera for a while but thats it.
I just respecced her as a duel weapon fighter, cool that the game lets you do that.
I needed a Cleric so I made her a Cleric of Nature 4/Battlemaster 8. Worked very nicely.
never played bg1 or 2 huh?
She is possibly the dumbest character in the whole game
>a stranger with a tadpole comes to your camp and she trusts him because "the greater good"
>Isobel gets kidnapped shortly after and she still trusts him because "greater good"
>she even trusts Durge knowing what it is because "greater good"
But it's not surprising, roll a female, a druid, and a h*rper into one and you get 0 int 0 wis
how can she say something so antisemitic?
>hating on grandma Jaheira
Only gays get that mad over women.
She was shit in bg1, 2 and surprisingly is shit now.
>druid/fighter
What a bad joke
Is this the "self-defence" entering new levels of cope and reconfiguring his melty again?
>stronger and betterer
underage please, finish school.
She's a moron that got the entire Last Inn massacred because she talked shit to my Dark Urge Barbarian
You can just kill her. My first playthrough I decided my character, being an evil wizard with an evil party, would not submit himself to anyone else's armed power willingly so I attacked her when she entangled me and I wiped out the whole town. Even though I like Jaheira and thought she was done well in this game now that I have her in my party dor a second playthrough (shouldn't she be like level 20 though?).
jaheira's character insists upon itself to a literal insane degree
if you side with marcus and beat isobel into a gay little pulp, jaheira still allies with you against the entire shadow-cursed town while fully knowing it was your fault purely because the plot demands it
i get they wanted to do a cool cameo for an old character, but every moment with her feels so incredibly forced.
i'm assuming hasbro/wotc had them by the balls over it and they couldn't give her or minsc any sort of adaptive personality to the game setting, they're basically flanderized imitations of their own source material
>i get they wanted to do a cool cameo for an old character, but every moment with her feels so incredibly forced.
her best comes if you play as a dark urge trying to resist/redeem she has some nice moments on that "route" but overall she is pretty boring.
>Lawful good aka spook the b***h
Now you now how sane people see Paladins
>did not play the game
>ugly looking character model
To you.
I'm waiting for a romance mod.
>GILF
>character played by actual GILF IRL too
have not played the game but this is the hottest b***h in the game so far
>hottest b***h in the game so far
Not a high bar.
is there any point having her or misc in the party? i dont like using druids.
If the game was really faithful she could turn you into dust with a flick of her fingers with all the power she would have gained in BG1/2. Other than that her character is extremely faithful, your fault for seeing a classic character reappear after 23 years, being helpful and having the same personality as they used to, only your brain has been fried by modern politics so much all you see is buzzwords and feel threatened.
Imagine the seethe if these gays played BG1 and 2. Just Shart Eel would make every Ganker editor scream that billions must die.
Jaheira is great though.
b***h died in the first fight we got in to.
Weak as shit, and couldn't revive because she wasn't a companion.
Not that I would anyway
