Man that was terrible. One of the worst ost ive ever heard, i was actually shocked how many people were praising it in the comments as if it were a moving piece of music. Robocop NES ost was better than whatever that was. For me the best OSTs are on Sega Genesis and NES, generally.
You zoomers and your vernacular . I guess trolls are cool, like the mythical ones, not the cutesy toys with the hair sticking up. Anyway, that robocop theme that OP posted seriously sounds jarring and the only way it could be memorable is by nostalgia alone.
One Man and his Droid is incredible. yeah I know its a Jean-Michel Jarre rip but Hubbard takes it to an entirely new level, those arpeggios in the second half are sublime
"If your equipment isn't properly set up, you might be missing some of the benefits that stereo can provide" (If anyone can find the source of the original sample that would be amazing)

Sit down, turn the Dolby up, and prepare to get blown away.
The world used to be full of shoutcast streams and flash players full of "chiptune" music. Where have they all gone...
Nectarine plays chiptunes every once in a while.
Martin Galway is a Commodore 64 legend, but his lesser known work on the Nintendo Gameboy was outstanding, here's Ultima Runes of Virtue 2

I can't believe people think this sound chip is good. Makes the Genesis look [sound] like like gold.
Genuine mental illness right here.
I have a sudden need for some Doritos right now. . .

Never gonna understand why zoomers post such weak bait. Did you actually think that was clever or something?
Genesis is the GOAT for game music but you can't deny the soulfulness of squeezing these complex arrangements out of limited hardware.

Obligatory Tim Follin mention.
The absolute madman made one of the most harsh, yet impressive jams on the fricking ZX Spectrum.
(Possible volume warning)
There's also Rob Hubbard, who made some great C64 tunes, though most people know him for Monty On The Run.
I prefer the ZX Spectrum 128K version of Auf Wiedersehen Monty due to its cleaner percussion. Also, RIP Ben Daglish,

Sick jams. Man I think I heard some of those samples in like, Pizzicato Five songs.
>RIP Ben Daglish
Shit, for real? The Switchblade track here
is better than the actual game.
The title screen for the Burton Batman spectrum game was really cool:
The cabin music from Friday the 13th NES
oh that's the music from dilbert, I really like Takayama's stuff
he also composed this
Mutants, another stone cold classic from the underappreciated Fred Gray

Robocop 3 too
I always enjoyed the music all throughout the game, apparently was made with a special chip:
