i like hl2 but combat isnt even in the same universe as Doom Eternal
I want to shoot and be shot at in an FPS. I don't want to go around doing cinematic finishers and juggling weapons like a clown. HL2 bunny hopping is more interesting than any of the movement in the Doom reboots.

In the AAA space? Not really. Might be worth looking into the myriad of indie boomer shooters out there.

Speed isn't the most important thing in the world. Eternal guy runs pretty slow anyway. He was faster in 2016.
not sure about that seems like bs, not that you are running a lot in this game with double dash+ ooldown runes and refresh on kill you basically zoom around.
