It's like Spore, people enjoyed Spore for what it was that weren't exposed to all the hype beforehand, but for anyone that remembers the hype beforehand Spore was a fricking horrendous disappointment. Todd can eat shit for managing to keep this shit up for so long, I thought Fallout 76 was the breaking point but apparently not so I'm glad to see him being roasted over a spit again for a game that took far more resources.
If Spore stories were true, Spore actually had those features but EA deemed it too complex and everything was simplified to it's most basic iteration. We'll never know though.
