Anyone else quit because of the manga?

Let's try this again. I am the only one who gave up on Pokémon games because the manga was much better?
The manga was a thrilling tale in my 11 year old mind, much more interesting than any of the games at the time

>r/b
It was alright, but I wanted so much more in terms of story.
>snap
shit
>stadium
seeing everything in 3D was nice, but nothing even made physical contact
>G/S
A huge improvement from r/b, but still not the best. It didn't encapsulate the adventure.

Both manga encapsulated an interesting adventure, there was no need for headcannon rumors, etc. It was all there plain and simple. Instead of being disappointed by the games over and over again I turned to other Jrpgs with stories and gameplay more similar to the manga such as Legend of Mana, Arc the Lad and BOF. Some of them even had monster capturing/raising that was far superior to pokemon's.
The only games that truly captured the adventurous spirit of the anime and manga were the mystery dungeon titles

>inb4 zooming little shit says games and manga are different
you grew up on LoL, fornite and minecraft; you know nothing about Jrpgs or stories potrayed by games.

I don't know, I reread the first RGB series and was pretty underwhelmed to be completely honest, I'll have to reread the best

    The anime is not good.

At least all that filler created a very diverse and developed pokemon world

I know that, but the games had even less of a sense of adventure to them.

Only OS, later seasons do not have any sense of wonder and are worse than the games in that regard.

indigo pokemon were mysterious, we had no idea what they were and they seemed to be a rather new phemonon in that world, post indigo even during the orange islands that wonder faded ever so slowly.

No, the manga is boring cringe trash and forgotten

not if you were 11-13 reading that. The games were dull then and now though

        stop acting white

No manga just focuson human characterd, pokemon is about pokemon

Nah, we got more mewtwo insite than the anime, as well as strange feets pokemon could never pull in the game.

There is surely a balance to be had between emo cringe and actually interesting writing

If you ask anybody what they remember the manga for, 90 percent of the time it's the Arbok cut in two. That and Green is genuinely its legacy for most people aware of it

his wishes were shit, mystery dungeon was a much more exciting and well thought out story than anything in the main continuity.
Snap was dogshit, but followed his wishes,

His wish was that when you watch the anime, you care as much about ash as you do for the pokemon
