I've been thoroughly enjoying BG3 existance and I haven't even played it, watching the steam community forums fill up with normalgays crying about getting constantly sexually harassed by their homosexual party members or being tricked into having actual gay sex is something that tickles my funny bone.

There's plenty of incentive for replays; first run you do some kinda standard combat build or something like that to get a handle on the gunplay/weapon types, and maybe dabble in medic for sustainability.
Then on subsequent runs you can do fun builds that can succeed all those skill checks you couldn't the first run like Speech or Science

The entire point of a Bethesda game is to be an easily modded sandbox. As long as Bethesda doesn't frick that basic thing up the game will sell gangbusters.

Fallout 4s modding scene is a fricking barren wasteland, even after 8 years, I don't have high hopes.
But on the other hand Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim have a shit ton of mods, why is that?
My guess would be that Nate from Fallout 4 feels like an actual character you play, rather than someone you made. (Being voiced doesn't help) So homosexuals that are into these games enough to have a 100th different playthrough with different mods are still limited to playing 1 character. Instead if only being limited by their imagination.
