I'm NOT saying this reaches the heights of GBA/DS Pokemon or even 3DS Pokemon
But I felt the DLC areas for SwSh were pretty good. They followed Legends: Arceus' approach of open area but not open world.
I wish the series had continued on with the hybrid of routes with some open land areas rather than going full open world with Scar/Vio
I never wanted Pokemon to go open world. I never wanted it to have a "BOTW moment" like so many casuals were demanding.
Hell of a lot better than shartlet and vile ass
SwSh looks miles better than ScarVio. I hate openworld ScarVio generic slop so much
Even your cherrypicked prime examples look like shit. SwSh is hideous.
Yes, the non-open world with fixed camera parts of SWSH look good. Wild Area looks like shit.
Almost as if GF should have never listened to their fans and kept doing their thing
swsh had better art direction
scavio has better textures, but the lighting, shading is crap
Looks like crap. Only characters looks better.
This looks almost just as bad and it's linear. Atleast in Scarlet and Violet you get that sense of exploration and adventure originally thought up when Pokémon was created. SwSH feels so soulless.
I've told people the ambition/concept of SV was good, but the execution of it was absolute dogshit and the game released in a closed beta state at best. Even Nintendo had to formally apologize on its behalf for performance and console bricking issues, yet frick all was done after that.
armor is ok but should have been in the base game
Crown is pretty damn good and saved swsh for me
>Crown is pretty damn good and saved swsh for me
I spent so much time wandering around that snowy mountain with my DUSK FORM LYCANROC by my side. That was kino
Nah. I've seen a good amount of people who hated the base game praise the DLC's, though. Can't say I get it, to me it was just more garbage.
If DLC was free it would redeem this game
idk because i didn't play it
It was pretty shit, just like the rest of SwSh. SV are vastly better, and please don't ever compare SwSh to Arceus.
>please don't ever compare SwSh to Arceus.
SwSh w/ DLC is better than Arceus but Arceus is pretty good. The lack of trainer battles drags it down a lot. The town could have been better and should have leaned more into town building
>90 smackers
just curious OP, if you consider SWSH of all games good then what would a bad pokemon game look like in your eyes?
>SwSh with the DLC
Should have been in base game. So no, it's shit.
>I never wanted Pokemon to go open world. I never wanted it to have a "BOTW moment" like so many casuals were demanding.
I didn't, either, but I really liked the way it turned out with ScaVio. I was pleasantly surprised and SV turned out to be one of my favorites in the series.
>I never wanted Pokemon to go open world. I never wanted it to have a "BOTW moment" like so many casuals were demanding.
People have been begging for that since before that shitty game even came out.
The world felt very small but the areas were more memorable than any of the places in SV
The dlc is better than the main games wild area.
But it was released to late and is kind of a mess. By the time the dlc comes out all your pokemon are probably lvl 100 so you need ot build an entirely new squad to take advantage of it.
It's be better served as a complete 3rd version. But yer it's aight.
The DLC was OK. The main game was absolute shit.
There is not a single good Pokemon game on the Switch. If you unironically like any of these games you’re a lowbrow moron.
I have an IQ of 128 and I like PLA and ScaVio.
You have an IQ of 98 and like DiaPer.
Legends Arceus says hi
