I met the guy about 20 years ago at I think GenCon, might have been one of the smaller midweest gaming cons, the guy even back then was a barely functioning game autist. He really came off as all he cares about is running, playing, and writing games. Nothing else. The guy would stop breathing if it meant that energy could be put towards more RiFTS.

Reading a couple of obituaries by a Palladium employee she worked from home and it sounds like she cooked for everyone.

Some people are linchpins of life, and their loss is always devastating to the people around them, which reverberates through the life of countless more.
Rifts has some of the best world building I have found in a RPG system. I hope he can still keep putting stuff out, and he gets past this.
