Final fantasy bros have had a seriously rough two decades. Good god I still remember picking up 12 after loving X. But the combat just didn't do it for me. 13 was even worse I pushed through to when the map opened up but by that time I was so burnt out I dropped it.
I even bought a ps4 pro on release to fully enjoy 15 day 1...
Now half way through 16 and I can't believe I'm saying this but holy frick... 15 really was way better and I played that shit on release. What the frick were these asiatics thinking
16 is ff14 type mmo quests with a very rudimentary combat system. No useful loot, no exploration and no reason to even think about what attacks to do when just fire everything off and wait for the cool down timers to spam everything again. Mainline titles have been absolutely fricking shit and the remakes have been just good but not incredible
