I thought they just gave you the rental passes so you could play the game and then the powercreep is a "go buy the DS games moron" flag
thought it was bullshit how you couldnt use Giratina, Shaymin, and Rotom's forms in this game. This is probably the reason why I never liked it when they'd add new forms and such mid-gen just to make them incompatible with other games in the same gen, it's fricking stupid.
But at least you could actually connect Platinum and HGSS to this game unlike fricking Pokemon Ranch.
If the Wii wasn't such a piece of shit console they could've easily patched. And I would've actually bough Ranch if they released the Platinum version over here.

the wii supports patches/updates gf is just lazy, some games had patches you could download from the store
I really wish Pokemon Ranch had a DX fanpatch or something. Just translate the JP update and disable the stupid restrictions on withdrawing pokemon, I'd actually end up using it to stow away my bros on my gen 4 games.
I used to rent this game from a local video rental place for a couple of days at a time. I could just transfer my mons from my DS and play that way, then transfer them back before returning it. Was actually quite nice

Well, all of the non legendaries are finished, just need to consume a balm mushroom before bed so I can lucid dream and fly to fullmoon island nude, and present cresselia with my raging rare bone. If she attacks me, I'll have to find her feather and bust a nut on it and chase her down. And then give her a hardcore horn drilling and finish with hydro cannon. Shit's exhausting, have to rest between entries, lest I end up looking like a dead celebi raisin.
Hardly anyone gave a single frick about this game until they started comparing animations in 2019. If you're going to praise the 3D battle simulator games, at least prop up the Stadium games or the Gamecube titles. Battle Revolution is mediocre
