XCI dumps are literally the same as the cartridge. If you get a bad performance emulating them, well that's on you not the game, but if you get a bad performance playing it in A SWITCH then the issue is the game.

That's not true. When you install an XCI file on a CFW switch, it messes with the programming of the game to convert it to a NSP. Doing so usually has a performance penalty since you're essentially tricking the Switch into believing it's a digital copy of the game. This has performance overheard, and will result in performance rhat id not representative of the original cartridge, or official digital release.
