Literally just beat it two or three days ago, it was better than I remembered when I dropped it the first time. Pretty good plot. Gameplay wise it's mogged by 6 imo, though that one has some fundamental problems with some of its new mechanics.

It’s good, and it looks better in hindsight with how bad the next two were. I just hate how the story missions are tied to that meter, several times I was having fun fucking around only to get forced into a story mission

far cry has a bad history of trying to tell "subtle" stories very poorly. 4 had you working with people who make heroin to upheave a "malevolent dictator" who seemingly allows his citizens to own fully automatic rifles and deal drugs
