for what? I pirated it and enjoyed it immensely because buying pixels is absolutely hilarious and abstract idea for me
If I get some spare money I'll buy it, but I've been saying this about factorio for half a decade so...
yes, for this game's cost in my shithole country I can eat for half a week and this is important when I'm stuck in a job that requires factorio megabase level of planning to be able to make it to the first day of the next month
>hating gamedev
?
He’s just lazy and obsessed with bad furniture.
Though anyone could have told him he was going to get bored of his shmup in record time instead of waiting for him to immediately turn it into a Descent clone.
>dude its actually so deep its about soulless corporatism did you know that???
do people think this game is subtle about its message? there's so many people that act like the game is clever or something
No one acts like this game is subtle. The game is about corporatism yes, but the main point is more about how our society would evolve if we were able to conquer death, which is pretty cool.
All the capitalist stuff is just a joke, anyway. Guy living in a Funko Pop cave or everything about the mall. Bouncy castle drug addicts. May as well be taking Blackadder as a serious critique of late-medieval aristocracy.
Only time the games remotely serious is when its being frustrated at being unable to grasp anything meaningful - about the oft quoted severance of divine light.
it's soulless corporatism in literal sense. bio 3d printers and cloning causes life to lose its value which turns the world into a purgatory ruled by demi god CEOs and everyone tries to find meaning or value worth living for (which is insane because there is absolutely nothing worth living for eternally). the anticapitalist stuff is just the surface level theme.
I kind of liked it but the extremely low health we get is bullshit.
It’s supposed to be a power fantasy but I have to shoot people from corners, avoid crowds and play extremely carefully because if I don’t, some enemy that I can’t even see will kill me in three shots with a hitscan weapon.
For what?
It was flavor of the month
Go back.

I respect a person who admits that they pirate because they're poor. Not joking.

Yeah it was pretty good. Need more art for it
Sorry.
decent game
I was pretty impressed with it but only played it 15 hours
Apologize for what? Our daddy taught us not to be ashamed of our dicks.
Can you show me?
for what?
For posting troony images
is the dev working on something?
considering his tweets about hating gamedev I doubt he's going to put out another game

he was working on some bullet hell game i think
nah, it's genuinely bad
>it's okay when game is ironically and intentionally bad
Frick good. Even if it's bad at least it means something. I'm not elaborating
No. I didn't like it.

It's more about consumption and spending than corporatism
NOOOOOO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE FUN OF CAPITALISM AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
I love absurd, weird looking shit but this was the only game to actually filter me. Never has a game given me a headache before this shit. I kneel.
It was alright, was night that the dev kept adding subtle new shit on and off. I just like grime in my games, and it's very grimy.
I kind of liked it but the extremely low health we get is bullshit.

Buy the stealth suit, seriously, it's the best defense in the game, the game even calls it the shitter's suit.
It was already my GOTY last year alongside Highfleet, I don’t have to apologize for shit.
GOTY 2021. No other contender.
