Transcending your equipment helps a lot. It's nearly 100 power per transcension. Just get the healing helmet and the +phys defense when above 50% hp armor from dog isles and transcend those and equip them on charlotte or sieg.

I think there was a bug with their equipment encyclopedia, if you disassembled them the game will treat them as newly acquired items when you get them again. This is a fix for it.

Getting a character to rank 9 takes a lot of time or money so if they don't perform well at low ranks, most people would just ignore them, this seems to be the problem Zelvi will have too, since she relies heavily on her stats.

This challenge mode is meh
They didn't even give a detailed info about how points are calculated and what affects them the most. Like should I try to complete with as least characters as possible or to finish it the quickest. Also lv60 difficulty is really tough for an average lv60 account.
The lv60 seems unbeatable without an invested tank. I have three units at 5500+ power and still can't beat it because my healer gets oneshot. Which is unfortunate because no game mode before this has ever required a tank.
That fight basically asks you to build Belet.
Idk about e-girl but Coyle seems to have an abuse with Claphare's after-battle healing - it isn't affected by the healing penalty, and given how many wolves attack him, he just outheals everything and then it's ezpz.
e-girl is moronic yeah, too much dmg after buffs which you kinda can't prevent with how many mobs quickly gather around and give her stacks. Invested Bellet or Sieg or gtfo
I just did them once, got like 8k5 scores, enough for all the relevant rewards and call it a day. I think you get more scores from using less characters but I can't be ass to do them again, it's already tough enough with full teams.

So much seething about Catherine in PVP that they have to brought it up in the interview, and looks like a new PVP mode with ban pick system is getting added soon.
Well I mean, basically Apex Arena in Langrisser. RTA is boring shit now with the same Charlottes Silvas and Catherines which already annoyed everybody to death.

Alecto doesn't sound as bad as I thought, she only needs rank 5 to get the most out of her passive skill, and anything try to fight her in melee range would get fricked in several ways.
Coyle is a 2 in 1 character, and unless his stat is dogshit his summon is going to be moronicly strong since it inherit 140% of his stats plus all other buffs he can give it.
Welp, I guess I'll go for Coyle if Semi fricks me up. Alecto's pre-battle heal is hidden behind her EX so I guess I'll go for Coyle. He also will synergize well with Charlotte's slows and Ibn's bleeds. Also summon heroes are always op in heavily outnumbered scenarios

They already made the universal shard item a thing - time to let us earn it in events, 120 days are abysmal, f2ps don't even have 5 characters to max for arena. Arena opponents are all r9 + EX whales on almost all characters, and the more time passes the worse it gets.

Pick/ban system is honestly fricking awful in the current stage of the game. Only whales would have the luxury to run varied teams, F2P would just get fricked even harder.
More permanent contents are good but they have to pick this one? I would prefer the card game one instead since it allows you to have more fun with team compositions.

Pick/ban won't help against whales, but you will be able to ban hard counters to your onetrickponies (but I guess Charlotte, Catherine and Silva will be banned every goddamn game). All in all I think it's better to have it than not. But maybe not in lower leagues. Would be better ofc if all characters would be maxed for this mode (levels+traits+ranks), only equips and runes would differ.

She was actually a SR or something from the early datamine, but I guess they changed her into a SSR since it doesn't make sense for them to release a new SR.
SRs are hadly monetized, ranks are farmed too fast, no EX weapons. That said, Langrisser added SRs, but they were mostly collabs and their kits are on par with non-collab SSRs.

But Hazel massively reduces allies' cds and teleports them to herself when in danger (almost like a countermove to Irina's knock away)
I feel like Irina is more of a pvp choice, while Hazel is much better for pve, maybe even shits on Claphare in that regard.
Both feel extremely skippable for me, Irina's usage is way too PVP specific and I don't know if I want another healer.

Claph is honestly outdated for me, act again is meh in pvp and definitely not better than cd reduction and safe tp in pve. Valak casting her aoes more often sounds op. I'd like to see first who we will have next, but honestly another month of waiting sounds too boring
Claph is just a generic healer the moment your team grows out of her act again trick. Though Hazel doesn't sound that great either, 1 turn cd reduction on 3 turn CD timer is kinda eh and you will be hard pressed to find the teleport skill useful in most situation.
Overall waiting for another month for next character reveals suck.
At the very least her tp is great on magic vortex which your main dpses can't quite tank constantly staying at the boss' feet. It can be cast from 5 or 6 tiles (3 tiles to in-between hero who is 2 or 3 tiles away from the hero you want to save).
As someone who rarely do RTA, she's do just fine, i'll admit though she doesn't have anything going on other than more healing but honestly these new character doesn't sound pretty great either

They aren't exactly useful so I never care enough to level them, some insignificant bonuses like 5% damage up with very specific conditions to trigger isn't really worth the hassle.

There's no reason to take this game RTA seriously. It's insanely hard to keep up with the PVP meta shift unless you are a whale, asiatics were fuming last month when Alecto turned high rank RTA into fire field and white damage spamfest. Spent 4 months to raise your characters to rank 9 just to find out they became irrelevant in the current meta isn't fun.
Now that Hazel is out Alecto is no longer a problem, she halves all fixed damage on allies. And yeah, RTA should not be the main focus of the game ofc, but there is now pick/ban system with mercenary pool starting from gold league, so you can expect having a decent team with good equips and all skills to choose from.

i plan to revisit this game when it releases on jp. i kinda liked playing it on the kr launch but it just fizzled out for some reason.
The game really fizzled out hard when you reach level 60 and unlocked everything. There was basically nothing to do but daily expedition for character orbs, which is a painful slog, and the dreaded PVP contents.
At least they are aware of the problems and are trying to fix it. JP server probably will receive a smoother experience than KR.

Ibn is much stronger and safer with his aoe shred. I hope all legacy characters will be adjusted like that. Charlotte's leader skill is nothingburger, but at least we can get more freedom in teamcomps now, because you basically always have Charlotte + tank + healer.

You will get your shit pushed in without Charlotte to carry you early game. Catherine is a terrible PVE character, and only really shines in PVP when fully ranked up and geared. It's better to just reroll for Charlotte to have easy time clearing contents and save your rolls for Catherine when she gets her rate up instead of shooting yourself like that.

generic SSR weapons are farmable from dog isle missions but character exclusives are gacha only.
Charlotte and Erica are given to every new account, you basically roll for them anyway on your first days of playing. You'll have enough resources by the time Catherine arrives. But honestly she's more of a pvp character, and only good after lv55 and maxed rank for max hp.

For now no. Only rank-up stones for EX weapons are sometimes farmable from events. But we have new systems after tomorrow patch with more ways to farm SSR equip. Doubt EXes will be farmable from there, but who knows, maybe when we get too many heroes, EXes will be more accessible.

Both new characters feel really busted this time. Lancelot does too many things at once it's not even funny.
I mean devs kinda had to do that. With how slow characters get to r9 from r3 (where the huge chunk of stats is obtained), new characters just have to be busted from r3 or ppl won't spend. I guess revenue tanked mostly because of that (well it would tank anyway, but not that hard).
This problem generally is kinda hard to solve without powercreeping. It's not israelitehoyo game to be able to sell characters on aesthetics alone, so power should also be included. And adding stuff like universal hero shards as event rewards will also reduce the amount of money from whales who pull for r9 from the start (and well devs already increase shards from time to time by adding extra expeditions on them).
I always feel the extra expedition quite worthless. You can't send the same characters again so it still takes the same amount of time to rank them up. All it does is saving a week or two for your other side characters, whenever it's finally their time for the rank up grind months later.
I would prefer if they just give those blank fragments instead of spreading the grind out.

I'd say the perfect reroll scenario is Charlotte + Erica + Sieg + from newbie banner + their EXes
You have better chance winning lottery than getting that perfect reroll.
That's why I don't see a point in rerolling here. You could get Charlotte and her EX for your first tenpulls, but next characters will give you huge dicks and only drop after hard 180/120 pity. You never know here.
Still better than having 180 for Charlotte then 180 for the next character as well.
You have 2 hidden newbie pities so it's exactly for 1 character in the worst case scenario. Charlotte is pretty much 100% guaranteed to everyone, no matter how bad rerolling goes. But everything else is left at rng's mercy. Rerolling is good if there's only one key character that you need to have. But judging from experience lack of Erica and Sieg will greatly slow your actual content clearance. Don't forget Claphare who isn't even in the first banners, and you should carefully pull not to be left empty when her banner appears.
So pulling Charlotte early might be good but it doesn't guarantee you a smooth account. That's why I don't think ppl should bother with this. Not saying anything about ppl that do that for fun.
So even more of a reason to reroll since you could save a few dozen of rolls that could have been spent on those said banners, I don't know why you are so adamant about it.
It's just a matter of perspective. I hated even creating accounts for referral program bc it was so tedious. I didn't get Erica and Sieg myself on my account because I didn't know they are that needed later (pulled for Richard instead and got Nola from newbie). But at least I didn't do the tedious rerolling. If I did it a few times only to then be cucked by Erica/Sieg/Claphare later, I'd be fricking mad. If such thing is a nothingburger to you then ofc there's nothing stopping you.

I'd add shitty rune system when you can't get needed mainstat for a needed slot of a needed set for fricking months. At least add some another casino shit when you fuse several shitty runes to randomize a new one with at least 1 of the characteristics locked (set or slot)
It won't be that bad if you can actually farm the SSR runes. The drop rate for them is absolutely abyssal, both from the quests and the expeditions. Pretty much all of my SSR runes come from crafting, event reward or open the rune bags, so getting the correct rune is a massive ordeal.

I am using high rank R/SR characters since they get much better benefits from the stage buff than my rank 3 SSRs. This mode just escalates the problems with the rank stat gains.
Been having fun with this game thanks to the JP release and I imagine from the posts here the endgame seems terrible? Either way just here wondering if the OST is up somewhere and why does Alicia (true 10 yo) dress up like that?
The endgame is quite boring. One big event per patch, which you can finish within 1-2 weeks or less, dog island rotations to farm for gears. The biggest issue is how monotonous your late game team will be, rolling for new characters won't instantly improve your team, since they have to sit through at least 2 months worth of expedition grinding before they become a viable replacement for your current team, which sucks the fun out of the game, especially if you want to try a new team composition.

They actually had to censor her a bit but didn't bother to change her model during the cutscenes so you get to see something like this.

Endgame got better lately, and while it's generally not that great, just farming different resources, but at least it's not that time-consuming. The problem is to get to the endgame, and it's 2-3 months minimum of really dedicate gameplay until you hit the content wall.

Yeah, but none of them are new characters, they just rotate the existing roster to bait people. Claphare is the only one that you may want to roll, though from my experience, while she's god tier carry early game, she falls off pretty hard late game, still has use when you need to quickly burst down something but other healers bring much more to the table than her.

You kinda don't want to rank up healers if you're f2p anyway. Their functionality is more important (though it'd be comfy if they didn't die from 1 hit, but f2ps don't have the luxury, having only 3 heroes to upgrade). It's damagers who need every bit of damage and survivability possible

These hard more dreams have become a fricking chore. If this is what people wanted by "repeating challenges" then they're fricking moronic. This is fricking farm content, it's meant to be cleared 1 time, then you either can sweep or get a huge boost to be able to auto it. Gee I love my braing being melt once every 3 days to figure out how to cheese yet another ridiculous shit with 100% damage resistances when only fixed damage works, or vice versa.
I just auto through 50-55 dreams nowadays. Spending 30 min per run to cheese through these battles with extremely obnoxious buff isn't fun.
Yeah but the rewards are way better... I've maxed a lot of stuff with these. They don't even give the tree buff (for obvious reasons), or don't at least let us sweep battles before the last one.
Is the hard mode dream even permanent content? They probably change it after a while like how they did with dog isle.
I mean what's to change there except maybe modificator rotation and map layouts. It won't change the mode being tedious chore if you want to get the highest reward. I understand rewards are too good, but making ppl suffer each 3 days and minding their comps for each stage (and making sure you won't brick yourself with having needed heroes cursed) is ridiculous.
They also need to start introducing hero shard rewards in some content, there is too many heroes to rank up, and whales anyway max everybody with banners, and f2p anyway won't pull for more than 1 copy
They already nerfed some of the enemy buff (the damage immunity bullshit) but I think it's far from enough. Maybe the asiatics could complain more so they would nerf it even further.
If it's permanent content then I think I should just take it easy, at least I didn't cripple myself by skipping the highest rewards from it.
I mean the problem is overcoming the same sweaty shit over and over again, not particular numbers. It actually was fun building full ignite team to beat the 100% dmg resist enemies for example. But jesus I don't want to do that each 3 fricking days. Give me the same buff as in secret realm stages when you complete them once, and we're golden.
I'm only doing 55-60 hard mode these days, the 60-65 one is fricking hassle when enemy have those immunity buff

You really only have to focus when it's the duel stage (every character in a pseudo 1v1) or physical damage reduction. Even then I'd still rather spend like 20 minutes more and get way better rewards.

They don't seem to care if it's JP or KR dub as long as it fits the characters. Apparently Archeland dub was bad enough that a lot of them claimed they will only roll for characters if their voice suits them. The twins were ones of the worst offenders since they said they sound like mean grandmas and it turned them off.
Now that the KR dub got cut they start complaining about not wanting to roll for new characters since they have no voice.

We're getting too many heroes and still too few ways to dupe them. No, one week-long event for 3 extra shard departures per patch do almost nothing, as well as the basic 3 departures, where we can't even focus on one character.
And I don't even understand what's the point. You literally earn zero money from making people farm dupes this fricking long. Whales spend to r9 hero and r7 EX weapon in the first fricking day. Everybody else just WON'T spend to roll dupes, because to have a significant incerase in power you need all of them at once, not like 1-2 and that's it. And getting all dupes at once is too fricking expensive.
And you clearly see that characters below r7-r9 are unplayable in any challenging contents, enemy stats are fricking bloated, and then it's some bullshit mechanics on top of that.
Not mentioning that like in Langrisser, we only are able to somehow hold it with actual contents, because we've been playing since day 1 and gathered a lot of useful heroes, while we didn't need that much aside from your basic Charlottes Semis Ericas and Siegharts whom almost everybody manged to get. And now imagine a newcutie joining this game right fricking now.
Game revenue tanked like a rock for a good reason anon, any new DPS heroes they release will get compared to day 1 rank 9 Charlotte/Sieg/Erica to see if they are even worth to pull. That's why they keep bumping out more utility classes rather than DPS classes, or extremely gimmick heroes like Alecto then shit our some moronic mechanic that requires you to bring her.
The fact that they refuse to add blank fragments to event as rewards just show how stubborn they are about their shitty rank system.
Yep, they started to sell more utilities to make heroes less rank dependant, but guess what - it creates a strong powercreep when spenders will r9 them, and also inflates the bullshitness of challenges to even out the difficulty, which will only be okay for whales but absolutely horrendous for everybody else.
The game is way too whale-oriented. You can't put all your effort on them alone, they stop spending once people massively stop playing

They already downscaled KR server and cut dubbing cost, if JP server does well enough I could see them keeping KR afloat as beta test server. If JP also flopped then it's really over.
Yeah, unlike Langrisser, production costs are way higher here, idk what were they thinking by leaving exactly the same tediouis progression and monetization systems where you don't even have anything worth spending unless you're a whale. Their only hope now is if JP whales migrate from their other turn-based games for some reason
