No, not really. But they're different, which is valuable in itself. One kind of shitty David Cage game is better than a hundred Ubisoft openworld rehashes.

Reminder David Cage doesn't make games for gays.
Reminder that beyond two souls was retroactively altered so that some experimental goblin named Elliot Page stole acting credit from Ellen Page. And yes those changes were made for gays.
As long as you don't think too much to notice the flaws in narrative. Heavy Rain is the best one and Detroit has Connor and Hank who are the best characters but are only 1/3 of the focus.

Not really
Omikron is fricking garbage that no one should ever play, but somehow convinced David Bowie to make music for it and be in the game
Indigo Prophecy starts out strong and then peters out and goes full moron in the final act
Heavy Rain has good moments with a lot of stupidity, it's probably his most influential games because so many games came out after it that were like "We wanted to do a game like Heavy Rain but better"
Beyond Two Souls is horrible coomer bait where he tricked Ellen Paige into making the game so he could make a nude model of her and jerk off two it
Detroit is probably his best despite trademark stupid moments he always has in his game
I've had arguments with people in threads about this previously. Why isn't David Cage considered the pioneer of the modern day movie game? it's highly different from the cinematic action games like Uncharted or TLOU. But it's still none the less a movie game, Heavy Rain almost shares all of the same characteristics with interactive story telling.
I tried to play Farenheit but didn't find it to be all the enjoyable the further i progressed into it and eventually i dropped it. Same story with Omikron. I did see Heavy Rain until it's end on the other hand. But overall I'm not a fan of Cage.
no
they are astoundingly bad, in game-play and stories
him still making games is proof gamers have shit taste and will buy anything if pushed enough by publishers
despite typing words, you actually managed to not say anything at all. how about some fricking specifics next time you mongoloid so it at least looks like you've played one before? >X GAME BAD. IF YOU LIKE BAD GAME U R DUMB. BYE.
Seriously argue how this didn't spawn the cancer in modern gaming? it's not just simply the QTEs I'm referring to here since that goes back to Shenmue (which was still more of a video game). A lot of the same kind of visual interaction which is present in most of the games that are mocked for being movie like in presentation stem directly from this game. It's basically a design template for interactive story telling in any AAA game.
Sort of yes, sort of no. Detroit certainly could be called good just for it's use of letting the player truly make stupid choices and live with them if they want. Good is a spectrum that relies on how invested you might be able to get into a game and the QTE, lack of skill gameplay can make that difficult. They're certainly usually incredibly stupid story wise though.
No, now have a nice day.
feeeeet....

Sure, as the only surviving record of Ellen Page.
Connor and Hank were indisputably great
They're interesting to say the least. Nobody else makes games quite like Cage.
In terms of movie games they're some of the best. Naturally they're not without their flaws but even Omikron is at least worth taking a glance at.
utter trash
They're garbage.
But it's the best kind of garbage that will entertain you from start till the end.
>starts as an atmospheric murder mystery with occult elements
>devolves into Dragon Ball Matrix ripoff
Bravo Cage
quit that
SEXOOOOOOOOOO

real good shit
watched a playthrough of his latest one from start to finish in a day or two and had a really good time

Yeah, my favorite is Heavy Rain

>the EXACT moment when the game goes to shit
>PS3 had graphics like this
Still blows my mind away
Well you know the twist a bunch of stuff falls apart
Also, the fact that they cut out the explanation to Ethan's blackouts but kept the blackouts in the game still is stupid
His writing sucks but Detroit was kind enough to let you skip most of its levels through your choices
Something Telltale will never do despite having better writing
