That would make Genesect a future paradox pokemon

why would they be a paradox?

because they dont make any sensse

They're extinct Pokemon that have been brought back to life via technology. How does that make sense?

        >Find fossil
        >Put in it machine
        >Machine converts fossil into a living creature

They don't contradict anything, unlike paradox pokemon.

there is no coherent pokemon historical lore

presence of non-pokemon animals implies pre/post-pokemon event that defies logic of fossilized pokemon
pokemon themselves defy any coherent (ironically) evolutionary methodology behind pokemon development

No it fricking doesn't, and even if it did, that event happened eons in the past to the point where pokémon appear in a lot of the historical record

you are personally of the belief that the pokemon lore implies millions of years ago, humans and pokemon live, in a pseudo jurassic enviornment, post apocalyptically? of our current environment, in which, some pokemon died, were fossilized in some near identical capacity to our current conventional understanding of dinosaur fossils?

What the frick are you talking about. There's nothing in Pokemon lore that implies any of this. Please list a single in-game source, or an official guidebook that has any of this information. I barely understand what you're even talking about, Pokemon isn't post-apocalyptic at all. There have been extinction events, yes, but you seem to be talking about something else entirely.

no, since they are original and well made design that aren’t bastardization of pre existing pokemons. Unlike paradoxes they also aren’t imaginary freaks of nature created by James Turner self insert

Fossilmon aren’t paradoxical at all so no, paradox pokemon are, well, paradoxes. Something that shouldn’t exist but does, or something contradictory with itself.

The only thing off about fossil pokemon is their fossils and dna may be damaged or incomplete, such is the case with areodactyl where the pokemon as we know it is an artificial creation with inconsistencies, and the mega is how it actually was in the past.

      >mega aerodactyl is totally the Pokémon in its natural form goys. That’s why the metamorphosis is painful to it
      you are very dumb, anon

        Anonymous

Both things are true anon. Mega evolution is an extreme overload of energy, so much so that it re-awakens dormant genes missing from its resurrection. It’s not the form itself that’s painful, its the power from Mega evolution that restored it.

Its a children's fantasy franchise. It's not life-ending to admit that its silly incoherent shit.

it’s also the highest grossing franchise in the fricking world. they can’t put a teensy bit of effort into some semi-solid continuity?

Letting shit like "continuity" get in the way of storytelling is the one of the biggest problems in modern entertainment

People are too obsessed with unimportant details

I'm dying for Pokémon to go "woke" so we can call it "Wokemon" and they'll hopefully go Brokeymon

im not talking about a fricking cinematic universe im talking about very simple timeline congruity. shit like this is just bad world building, don’t make up rules and lore for your fictional universe if they’re filled with plotholes

          >inb4 stop taking a kid’s game too seriously

frick you you’re on this board right now you have no room to talk
