I liked this case a lot. I never suspected more than one person, and I was convinced it was going to be the unnamed npc that called Kumuri back to help. She tasked her with pouring out the wine and figured she was trying to trap her into looking guilty. That same NPC was in the theater right before the ML section
She's definitely the one with the least obstacles of the three suspects, as long as someone didn't notice a tiny action of dripping poison from an eyedropper. Hell, Kurane only needed one accomplice, her lightning, so the crime could be perfect. Oxidation wouldn't have been a problem if she used the eyedropper to siphon the lower liquid of the poison jar, since there was the surface area as a membrane, the lower area shouldn't be affected so quickly.
There was no evidence that an eyedropper was used, but there was evidence that Kurame didn't do anything suspicious. If you'd spent at least 2 minutes using your brain you'd have easily figured out that at least Yoshiko and Kurame had to be in on it and once you saw the pictures you'd suspect Waruna as well, but it was still possible for her to be innocent until the footstep part confirmed she was in it too.
>Chapter 2 is the best chapter because its the only time you give a shit about the culprits deaths.
It's a really standard murder mystery motive of "they killed my loved one so I killed them". Detective Conan has done that hundred of times so it's not enough to make up for all the flaws. Yes, it saves the case from being completely irredeemable garbage but it's still regular garbage.
chapter 2 was kino because the crux is if you aren't a normalgay and don't get women and how easy they can lie, you won't get the twist
Most of Ganker should love it as much as I did (but we're infested with normalgays nowadays sadly), also the only case to make you care for the characters till act 4
So is it a harem? Yuma undisputed gets Kurumi in the end. Its a matter whether he remembers Shinigami after everything. He remembers the importance of the book in his letter so its implied he does remember her. Both girls are chasing after him in the epilogue. Then theres Fubukinwho confesses her feelings as well, but it unclear whether she will puruse Yuma.
If Shinigami didn't disappear at the end, he would go for her. But she's gone, so Kurumi is most likely the best bet on that she becomes his GF. Fubuki is most like set up to be the next MC.
The twist involving pink blood completely changes everything with Danganronpa. When the 4th game happens and dead characters suddenly show up its going to confuse those who skipped Rain Code. It opens the door for so much story potential
Why would it confuse anyone? The pink blood in Danganronpa is a stylistical choice to bypass censorship.
It's always been.
Rain Code decided to incorporate it as an actual element In Universe alongside the red blood that they couldn't use in Danganronpa.
I disagree completely. Junko's body and organs where able to regenerate and we never had an explanation until now. All dead characters were quickly gathered to ice and remained in this state. The only dead character not iced was Junko. The Remnants of Despair found her body and stole her organs. You could also say Mondo's body regenerated because Monokuma ate him, but we later see his body is currently frozen.
Why would it confuse anyone?

Rain Code decided to incorporate it as an actual element In Universe alongside the red blood that they couldn't use in Danganronpa.
There are also plenty of examples of characters with red blood, which was never explained why theres a mix of both. The anime has many examples of red blood mixed in with pink.
Danganronpa contradicted itself for years, but this pink blood revelation is massive and fills in all these holes.[/spoiler]
>1. Everyone in Danganronpa consistently describes blood as red, not pink. >2. The chicken Junko kills has pink blood, so is the chicken also a homunculi? >3. Makoto, Kyoko, and Byakuya go into sunlight at the end of DR2, and numerous V3 characters are in sunlight as well. >4. Everyone in DR3 has pink blood. >5. Everyone in that one city in UDG has pink blood.
1) Characters have memories erased and messed with. The same explanation for why Yuma seemingly didn't connect the dots.
2) Yes
3) Kyoko is confirmed to have red blood, see image. Its also assumed Makoto and Byakuya have red blood as we never see them bleed. The sunlight in V3 is artificial and when they escape they see the sky is covered in clouds
4) Again see image, half of the characters in the Future Arc have red blood when killed, half have pink.
5) The sky in UDG is covered in clouds. Any of the dead extra characters likely have their bodies retrieved and put on ice. Alternatively they are given a monokuma mask and become a mindless zombie under Junko/Monaca's control.
I was unclear, can homunculi die if enough physical damage is dealt? Because there's a difference between Mahiru's death and Kokichi's.

They can't die, seemingly, at least that's what the game says, but they do become completely mindless and lose intelligence

After 24 hours they regenerate completely. Since Monokuma freezes all the bodies well before this point, its an explanation why these characters stay "dead." Since Junko wasn't around to collect her mushed body, it explains whey she was able to regrow her body so the Remnants could literally frick her corpses and then steal her organs and body parts.
They can't die, seemingly, at least that's what the game says, but they do become completely mindless and lose intelligence
The completely mindless part is based on intelligence overall. Most characters that become zombies will be mindless, but ones like Junko, Chihiro, or Chiaki for example should have high enough IQ to speak after.
>Kyoko is confirmed to have red blood
Doesn't her splotch have pink blood in the bad ending? I can't remember if her father has blood when he dies.

In the bad ending its pink yes, but that ending was "imagined" by Makoto so it doesn't count. I also doubt they had this twist decided in the first game. It probably wasn't until DR2 when they decided on it so they could bring Junko's body back.
Kyoko's fathers body has no blood as hes vaporized into just bones. Since it doesn't appear his bones were frozen but instead wrapped as a present its likely he had red blood.
Also, if homunculi rise after a day of being dead, then Mukuro should've come back way before Junko uses her body for shenanigans. I know you'll say that Mukuro was frozen, but she was still out of the freezer for over a day by the time the trial starts.
I don't think it was a full day. At most her body was out for 12 hours after because it was placed in the middle of the night and found early morning, and it seems she was originally frozen almost immediately after her death.

I think it would be an exciting twist
Some small details would have to be overlooked, though

That twist I did not see coming, what a fricking good one, since all their other games do that
That, and the final Death Match where you take control from the other perspective is kino as frick
Its for sure getting a sequel. The game was the best selling title the week it released in Japan, and physically copies sold out in like a day and are getting a new shipment soon due to high demand. And none of this factors in digital sales.
I think the worst chapter was 3 imo. But they were all at least "good"
Compared to Danganronpa, it felt like these mysterious could be a little more bombastic
As long as they're not stupid like Chapter 2.
They're pretty stupid in all of the cases to be honest
I liked this case a lot. I never suspected more than one person, and I was convinced it was going to be the unnamed npc that called Kumuri back to help. She tasked her with pouring out the wine and figured she was trying to trap her into looking guilty. That same NPC was in the theater right before the ML section
I had assumed it was Kurane or whatever dropping poison from the rafter with an eyedrop at first
She's definitely the one with the least obstacles of the three suspects, as long as someone didn't notice a tiny action of dripping poison from an eyedropper. Only good chapter, the rest of this game is shit
Only people who like Chapter 2 are degenerates who likes seeing a bunch of cute girls suffer.
I think you have it backwards. Chapter 2 is the best chapter because its the only time you give a shit about the culprits deaths.
Anything artificial should instantly be disregarded. Not sure about the UV light, as I just recall it being explained as sunlight,

Just because you were too stupid to figure it out doesn't make the chapter bad, spammer-kun.
post her panties
She's just dumber Sonia.
Imagine all the creampies you could do with her forte
So is it a harem?

There's no way the pink blood homunculi thing applies to Danganronpa, there are a million things it would contradict.

DEM TIDDIES
she frick ____
Yes coffee is good for you
Goddamn, I hate how mystery games have to string you along when you understand the mystery, but the characters don't
Otherwise, really fun game, I hope we get a sequel in a year
Its for sure getting a sequel. The game was the best selling title the week it released in Japan, and physically copies sold out in like a day and are getting a new shipment soon due to high demand. And none of this factors in digital sales.
LET'S GOOOOOO
I'm excited for that, I didn't know it'd sell so well considering how niche their games are
I think the worst chapter was 3 imo. But they were all at least "good"
Compared to Danganronpa, it felt like these mysterious could be a little more bombastic
Didn’t they say UV light drives homunculi insane? Because the DR1 cast goes into an indoor garden that had some.
SHE FRICKS SHOTAS
Xenoblade Rex moment. In a few years Yuma will be a tall chad with 3 wives
Nah, Yuma is an eternal shota.
Ourgirl Kurumi will be the MC of the sequel
I don't want to read the thread to avoid the spoilers but I just want to ask one question: Was it good?
Yes.
My only complaint is that the player can figure out mysteries before the characters.
Very much so.
So that high school girl from Chapter 2 is obviously set up to be the next MC for whenever a sequel happens, yeah?
Gorgeous BBFs.
