should have got a vita
but anyways this is a pretty good list
and I'll add the patapon games, the psp gran turismo, smackdown vs raw 2007, wipeout pure I think its called
>should have bought a piece of shit with no games that does the exact same thing as the psp for twice the price
Rule number one, always ignore vitroony shills

I have over 2000 hours across multiple save files on this game. Played it on release back in middle school and I'm still playing it now that I'm pushing 30.
Dissidia NT was a fever dream and it never happened.
oddly enough it has the best version of super monkey ball adventure since it's the only version with the physics from super monkey ball 1&2
It's still a trash game, though
that's interesting.
i thought adventure was neat when i rented it when i was young, then i tried it again several years later and thought it was completely unenjoyable dogshit. maybe i'll give it another try and still hate it.
at least challenge mode on PSP is pretty okay but some levels are bullshit because the maps were made with the new floatier physics in mind but you're playing with the old tight gamecube physics
Pursuit Force, def jam fight for NY the take down(throwing rappers to the train never gets old), GOW psp games, lord of apocalypse, monster hunter, kingdom hearts birth by sleep, god eater, MK unchained, and Kurohyo Ryu ga Gotoku Shinsho(yakuza spin off).
Lumines 1 & 2
Guilty Gear Judgment
Project Diva games (though primitive compared to F, F 2nd, and Future Tone)
Rengoku II: The Stairway to H.E.A.V.E.N.
I'd say Crisis Core but the gameplay is flawed and Reunion fixes it, making it hard to go back to the PSP one.
Sold 80 million units and had a phenomenal library.
It also had Popstation, and CPS1/2, Neo Geo, Genesis, and NES emulation at full speed and support. SNES was a bit weak, and GBA needed frameskipping.
All in all it was a beast of a handheld.
Gundam VS GNext was also good.
Prince of persia, FInal fantasy dissidia, obscure: the aftermath, star ocean first departure and second evolution, digimon world re:digitize, tony hawks underground 2 remic, tony hawks project 8, persona 3
Just some on the top of my head, i think the psp has the best vidya library of all consoles
Persona 4
why would you get a psp and not a ps vita
>should have bought a piece of shit with no games that does the exact same thing as the psp for twice the price

Sting's games

>Venus & Braves
>Wild Arms XF
>Shiren the Wanderer 4+
>Perfect Cave Story port
>ZHP
>Gunhound EX
>Final Fantasy remakes/Type 0
>The entire Nippon Ichi grindan gaem catalog
>Persona 1/2/3
>FFT with a good translation/still the most autistic version of Tactics Ogre (+One Vision)
>Rondo of Blood remake
>Megaman Powered Up and the X1 remake
>Armored Core 3 series ports
>MHFU
>Every Extend Extra
>PQ: Practical Intelligence Quotient
>Space Invaders
>Rengoku II
>Konami shmup collections (Gradius, Parodius, Twinbee, etc)
>Gurumin
>Half-Minute Hero
>Lumines
>Patapon

>Wild Arms XF
Forgot about this but I loved it
Shiren 4's english translation is still in the works. I hope it comes out soon so more can experience this wonderful series.
I would throw in the exclusive Dragon Ball games with that list. Yes they're all fun. All.
Based
>Use the same Mechanics as the Shin Budokai games.
Only thing based to come from that movie.
Tenkaichi Tag was not only fun, but also visually impressive as well.
should have got a vita
but anyways this is a pretty good list
and I'll add the patapon games, the psp gran turismo, smackdown vs raw 2007, wipeout pure I think its called
Burnout Legends, the best racing game on psp
I will never understand how they pump out thousands of JRPG's, they're the most generic and basic kind of game.
>Buying a PSP (not even Vita) in 2023
If you want something really cheap it makes sense tbh
A good deal of the PSP's library is rhythm games and PPSSPP still struggles with input lag.
Gran Turismo 4
Various visual novels
Pata pata pata pon!
Still waiting for the day Square Enix makes a game even close to as based as this RPG-Fighting Game.

you can homebrew it to play the entire ps1 library anon don't post if u havent even looked
Yu Gi Oh Tag Force
You wasted your money, it was a library of games that simply whet your appetite for something you're supposed to play on console.
Lumines 1 & 2
Guilty Gear Judgment
Project Diva games (though primitive compared to F, F 2nd, and Future Tone)
Rengoku II: The Stairway to H.E.A.V.E.N.

Gundam VS GNext was also good.
Sega Rally Revo is weirdly fun.
Pangya Fantasy Golf.
A lot of these are cut-down ports of console titles, you could probably emulate the originals on a phone or portable PC nowadays.
Prince of persia, FInal fantasy dissidia, obscure: the aftermath, star ocean first departure and second evolution, digimon world re:digitize, tony hawks underground 2 remic, tony hawks project 8, persona 3
Just some on the top of my head, i think the psp has the best vidya library of all consoles
yeah. the entire SNES, GBA, NES library.
(also portable ops but dont tell noone i like that game)
The Syphon Filter games are surprisingly great
It's not 2005 anymore. If you're bought now and you aren't satisfied with it, you've only got yourself to blame.
Dracula X Chronicles
The Mega Man games are pretty good. I played a lot of BlazBlue when I was emulating it too.
What are some good japan-only psp games?
especially Gachitora, you're going to enjoy it, I guarantee it
KB1/4/5/Bros are also fun
fate/extra ccc
Kenka Banchou games and Gachitora
>Are there actually any good games
Yes
>Or did I waste my money
Also yes since ppsspp is great
I dont think the term handheld is hard to understand
have a nice day you fricking brat.
