No, unfortunately. I've been thinking that a Wrestling RPG that used dynamic character traits and relationships like Crusader Kings to drive feuds would be fun.
Wrestling was a prevalent technique in middle ages so when game has a trip manoeuvre or shit like that i imagine my pc just wrestles the opponent like pic rel.
Yes, fortunately. Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain had a top-notch custom wrestler designer. You could start as a custom wrestler with base stats in career mode which was a lot of fun.
>Wrestling RPG >It's all a work, brother >Before every match you're told to win or lose >In a specific way, with a specific move >Main villain is some butthole named Paul who keeps booking you to lose
I was working on a renpy game where your character is put in a kayfabe incest storyline with their mother and lines get blurred as they "live" the gimmick but my artist quit so I stopped
Hybrid Heaven.
SaGa games let you build bona fide wrestler characters with lariats, piledrivers, suplexes and all that pro wrestling goodness.
Metal Max 3/2R have a dedicated wrestler class.
I'm working on a demo like that. I'm kinda inspired by Punch Club, which isn't exactly a turn-based RPG but I like the style of the game.
Have a few wrestling styles (brawler, technical, hardcore, high flyer) so the player can choose, start as a nobody who wants to get into wrestling and start developing your starts, saving money, working, meeting people and all that. I also have ideas for the story if I ever get to make a full game, and I would like to include choices that include politicking and all that, which allows you to be an honorable guy or a guy that only cares for himself.
So far the hardest part is coding, because I'm an artist, but I'm doing my best to learn enough to do everything I want.
I'm going to prototype a turn based wrestling system in godot.
I think a grid based system would work well with different moves being available depending where you and your opponent are in relation to each other and the ring.
If this turns out any good I might get started on the wrestling rpg that's been bouncing around in my head for the last few years
why do millennials love wrestling so much
all the people i meet in that millennial range rattle off wrestling terminology like its nothing and watch it pretty frequently. its so weird. i remember talking with my manager and he started telling me how life is a work and i had zero fricking clue what the hell he was talking about
Pro wrestling hit an absurdly high peak during their childhood.
Mondays got 10 million plus viewers at the peak. For reference football was at like 14.

Live a Live has a wrestling chapter.
Sabin from Final Fantasy VI has a character who does wrestling moves.
Hybrid Heaven
Nice.
Or a boxing rpg for that matter?
Punch club
Wrestlequest
If only. Would be very fun.
My RPG has a wrestling tank who uses heel tactics and posses to draw attacks to him

Sounds shitty compared to this:
?t=324
>Secret ending: you kill your family because of a concussion
TEW
I always wanted a Kinnikuman RPG
Modern wrestling games basically are.
You create and develop your own wrestlers and follow a narrative.
There's some choice of games wrestling game.
Haven't played it so i can't say if it's any good.
No but Barkley Gaiden is a basketball RPG and that's about as close as we're gonna get.
I want traditional Greco-Roman wrestling with women only.
>traditional
>greco
>roman
>women
LMAO
Traditional as in naked. Tard.

Did the artist finish any of the art?
Wrestling Revolution
Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy
Hybrid Heaven.

Become a legendary wrestler in Dwarf Fortress adventure mode.
WrestleQuest isn't out yet, but it looks like it's gonna be good.

Wow that looks bad. You make a wrestling game and half the moves are themed around throwing Mexican food?
A wrestling RPG would also work really well as a turn-based RPG. Would it be kayfabe or not?

literally the Best wrestling game/sim/rpg whateverthefrick you want to call it ever
Outside of Live A Live?
I know of a couple, but they're pc indie and kinda fricked. One's a super hero themed wrestling rpg of all things.
Apparently there's a game called Wrestle Quest coming out but it looks vaguely half-assed. Can't put my finger on what exactly about it looks fricked.
I remember some anon at Ganker was shilling a java mobile one of tna which seemed kinda cool
Maybe djffny with just wrestler class. But not every opponent you fight in the story mode is a wrestler. And it’s all underground fighting rings.
