The village is meant to be played solo because its easy and you can learn the game. The hub is built for multiplayer. At its core the game is designed for multiplayer hunts.
that is wrong and doesn't even apply to the games you pretend that you are good at and that you know your shit
better just lurk these threads instead of trying so hard to fit in you absolute fricking scrub
Every game since the very first has been online. In fact, it was one of the very few online PS2 games at all.
It was made for multiplayer with single player only included because online consoles were still not widely adopted by the time it released. Same situation as PSO.
Both. The singleplayer mode is designed for you to challenge yourself and test and grow your own skills and knowledge. The multiplayer mode is for people who want to be part of a team, play with their friends, or make new friends. The designers put deliberate effort to accommodate both of these things
Yes and no, the game is challenging alone and is fun in a group, so choose your poison, I always play the campaign alone in my own time and only the endgame I play with friends/group.
Some do. Dual Threat and Hazard quests do, Hazard also including a few new combos. Then theres the Magna/Mal, and Scorned/PriMal quests that have a frickton of HP.
damn. I wish the multiplayer for this game wasn't so fricked. MHW got a lot more right, and SOS was one of those. still, my mhw cloud save got fricked so its just MHR for me now
best way to grind to 140? I guess just investigations unless there's some easy event quest thats better?
Oh yeah I really miss doing the mission finding the monster dc'ing and then re-queuing for the monster with my friends for the first time, every time. Bet you wish that you still had to do the key quest of every tier once per player too, frick off homosexual
Base World, yes pretty easily
World post-release updates, yes but some of it like Kulve and Behemoth is going to be annoying
Iceborne base, yes but the later half is going to be really annoying with how many of the monsters love to jump around incessantly, multiplayer mitigates the annoyance a lot as you can spread out to cover where things will jump to
Iceborne post game, yes but the devs really don't want you to, end game monsters and Guiding Lands are designed for multiplayer first and foremost.
Post story endgame quests appearing from the gathering hall quest npcs instead of the village suggests the games are geared towards multiplayer but you can challenge them solo
if you can't solo g rank you're not a monhun chad

Multiplayer, each player increases monster health bars by 100%, so playing singleplayer is baby mode

Solo if you are a man, multiplayer if you are a femoid, a troony or a homosexual.

Monster hunter freedom is balanced for playing the whole game singleplayer and all of it can be cleared solo
Yes? Because PSP was not capable of supporting online-only games
And so we got a version that is vastly superior to the PS2 one. Locking content away because its multiplayer only and the servers shut down is cancer.
Multiplayer, that's why there's weapons with moves for buffing teammates
yes

a good chunk of content in the first game is locked by multiplayer so it's safe to assume the core intention is for people to party up
in the real monster hunter games endgame is only available in the multiplayer section and going in solo wont scale down the health
do MHR event monsters just have way more HP or something?
Some do. Dual Threat and Hazard quests do, Hazard also including a few new combos. Then theres the Magna/Mal, and Scorned/PriMal quests that have a frickton of HP.

Just play the game, I hate autistic minmaxing morons like you. Pick monsters you think are cool and go kill them.
>just grind for 20 hours when you could grind for 5 instead
there's a point where efficiency just makes more sense
>Play how you want 🙂
>Okay, I'll min/max then
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sounds like a skill issue
Not on my end but the other playstation 4 babies I had to carry with great sword. hours of "where is it?" "area 9????" "durr wats a rathian track"
They can just join after you find the monster moron
Cope mr homosexual, I'm not the one looking for a new game because my save got wiped. If it wasn't tedium the anon would have just played world again.
Can one solo all of mhw content?

what if you don't have friends? you will have to deal with randos?
no, the game with clone a human programmed to be your best friend and genetically modified to be at least decent at the game
what the frick do you think, moron?
you have the cat to help you
It’s “meant” to be enjoyed however the hell YOU want.
multisolo
2004-2016 solo then multiplayer
2018-2022 multiplayer
The game is designed around multiplayer. Of course, single is very fun as well. Just do what you want and don’t worry about homosexual gamer cred
Meant to be played multiplayer but solo is more challenging. Idk how anyone thinks they actually did any work playing on multiplayer.
They're meant to be played using the Gun Sword from Lost Planet 2 after it's been implemented as a new weapon class
Post story endgame quests appearing from the gathering hall quest npcs instead of the village suggests the games are geared towards multiplayer but you can challenge them solo
