New games are barely coming out and when they do they are not finished and full of bugs and arent even fun to play.
And its been like this for many years already and there is no improvement of any kind in sight, at best you get a remake of a game you used to play back in the day but they always manage to frick that up too and make it shitty.

CS, a 20 year old legacy game, is getting its biggest update in all of history. STALKER 2 is actually coming out. Paradox is dying and Slitherine is gaining momentum and funding every wargame dev under the sun. Platformers are more alive than ever and can get budgets 10x larger than any old game ever did through crowd funding. Third party devs in general are coming back, microprose even revived itself. You're only losing if you are nostalgic for console shooters and generic open world action adventure games.
