I've seen some pop ups on youtube about people buying every sitting cutie doll, like dude the majority of the designs are bad. There are a few cute ones, but it's really hit or miss. Only a crazy manchild would waste thousands of dollars on all of them.
The "collectors" trying to reacreate Bean Baby boom of 90s completely missing that part about Bean Baby market imploding because hoarded toys create zero nostalgia and thus zero future value.
It's death of every collectible swarmed by "muh investors" - the moment they start hoarding shit en masse and nothing will be available to population is the same moment when it all loses value because collectibles are only worth as much as much people want if it.
Unfortunately probably more on the hoarder side. I own two of the Sitting Cuties, I usually always get one version of the current games, and own pretty much all of the versions of the games in the series in some capacity (third versions as well). I have the eReader cards and spent a lot of money to get them sealed, just to open them because I have wanted them since I was a kid. I then proceeded to just store them; I only got through the first set of 8 before I realized that the Battle Frontier was just a non-eReader version of all of these but better.
I also pay for HOME and intend to do so as long as my Pokemon are kept safe. I'm not going to justify it, I am the manchild left faced soi when it comes to this series, but it's like 1 of 4 game series I spend any money in anyways.
>brother enters my apartment
well atleast you're not a leech. I'd say let people enjoy their own things but still you're a grown ass man so your brother is right (yes I know I'm saying this on /vp/ )
Haven't bought any merchandise of any franchise since I was a kid and I kept asking my parents to get me Lego Star Wars kits.
The games are merchandise, anon.

Trying to assign nobility to wasted money is cringe.
You’re cringe for thinking your choice of spending money is any better than someone else.
I only buy things if I know I'll use it, I don't get just buying everything you see if it has a brand you like plastered on it.
>brother unexpectedly enters my apartment out of the blue
>sees my giant lucario plush
>bursts out laughing and calls me a manchild

>t. weakest legendary
>t. person posting behind this has some LITERALLY WHO favorite "Legendary"
both look like the one on the left though
What's the opposite of a hoarder? That's what I am, I absolutely despise having too much stuff, I barely even have furniture in my apartment.
I stopped buying merch because I hate having to dust shit off
I already know that the novelty will wear off after 5 minutes of having it for me so I just dont buy anything.
Why not use the plush as a sex toy? Just make a hole on it and go wild
If you were being ironic, then that was a horrible joke. Unfortunately it's most likely not a joke.
It gives the plush more use, so why not?
You will never pass as a mentally sane individual, freak.
I only buy things i like too bad pokemon action figures are hard to find
I collect charizard TCG cards and nothing else.
