It irks me how they didn't give you to use the Cleric's Divine Intervention option at the end if you still have it to save her.
Also, if we had just a few more levels for either cleric or wizard: we'd have uncountable ways to save her.

Dex is so incredibly overpowered in this game because Larian added armors that are as good as heavy armor and allow you to add your full dex modifier to AC.
In real 5e, AC is much more difficult to stack past 20, but BG3 is more like a weird offshoot of 3.5e when it comes to design philosophy.
They are completely different use cases of weapons. One is something you get at the start of Act 3 and is built for dealing huge damage where one is near middle or end of act 1 and is mostly useful for the complete neutering of Act 2 and even some of Act 3 fights. The sunbeam is just a bonus.

I've since stored her corpse in a chest at camp to see if some stronger resurrect options will be available later in the game but if not at least she can be a party member in spirit by guarding the storage chests from the inside.
My neighbour's sister is some hardcore chain smoker and she's the only woman with noticeably broken voice I ever met, so I guess you will have to start looking in that sort of crowd.

In the game? Powerfull AoE heal or damage which you don't need by the time you get it.
I'm sure that you can beat up Zariel at level 16 and later you have wish and probably other ways to frick over the setting
Problem is that level cap is 12 (probably for that reason)
Another problem is that you still have divine intervention which you can use once for whatever the frick you want (i.e give Karlach a new heart)
Another problem is that from a narrative standpoint (ultra giga mega brain) you are actually underlevelled to beat it up
