I own multiple Switch's and Idgaf because Nintendo hasn't been about graphics and power since they got blown the fuck out with the N64 and made the baby disc Game Cube.

Nintendo's Yakuza technical magicians figured out how to significantly slow down burn in. Some dude on youtube has been running his OLED switch 24/7 for over a year and it barely has any burn in.

Kys shill, barely is already not acceptable

NTA but you're retarded, it's a trade off in technology. OLED looks better but burns in more. That's just how it works. Software magic and tech improvements mitigate it. Go buy an LCD, you'll have washed out blacks but you won't have burn in. The guy had to run a static image for 3600+ hours on screen without refreshing ever before it started to burn in. If you're playing a game for 3600 hours where the hud elements are burning into the screen get a fucking life dude

Left: A better screen that I'll never look at because I play my Switch exclusively docked because fuck handhelds
Right: A worse screen that I'll also never look at because I play my PC games on my PC because fuck handhelds.

    Fuck handhelds.

I understand why some people care about OLED displays, and I hope they're enjoying their Switches. I actually just prefer the compromise of the deck. Even as modern releases outpace it, it's a really comfy emulator/indie game/classic game device. I don't see myself upgrading for at least several more hardware revisions. No need for console war bullshit.

We're on the first step towards OLED Decks, just you wait.
