Are you enjoying Fate Samurai Remnant?
I'm on Chapter 5 right now, Rogue Saber digression, 23 hours in
My Iori is so weak since I skip grinding altogether and spent most of my money on foods.

Who's that Mordred looking cute?
Apu-looking feline right there
>Who's that Mordred looking cute?
Myiamoto Musashi
I finished all routes after 70 hours.
The story motivated me to go through everything fairly quickly.
Iori stopped being weak the moment i got the ability to actually damage those shields with his attacks. That and void is broken. It's so good it basically makes everything but fire obsolete. Earth stance can still help with shields kinda but most of the time you will just forget about it. The game also gets very spammy with the abilities at that point. You have so much food - getting Saber to water wave all the trash enemies away is something you'll always do.
Yeah. ever since I got Void, I don't use other style anymore. I gave up on trying to perfect dodge long ago since it's inconsistent as hell. I just spam attack, tank damage and simply heal up
Make sure you use your gems as well. The damage isn't the best at first but some of those fire attacks stun the big enemies really hard.
Yea I only use Gems to heal and stun. the damage is absolute shite even with 700 MAT.
still pretty satisfying when you pull a counter with earth stance, seeing 1/4 of the barrier disappear in an instant is some good shit
>Earth stance can still help with shields kinda but most of the time you will just forget about it.
I find it fun to use it's block/counter at times. It's boss at interrupting enemy attacks. Then switch to void right away to do a full combo befreo switching back to Earth for another block/counter.
No femboy no buy
bro? saber?
Is saber actually said to be a boy anywhere? Or is it an ambiguous thing?
>Is saber actually said to be a boy anywhere? Or is it an ambiguous thing?
He literarry has a wife. You do learn his true name late in the game.
So does Saber
Isn't that a translation thing since japanese doesn't usually have gendered third person language?
Saber backstory used 彼 (He/Him) to refer to him
You could make the argument that no one explicitly calls him a dude outside of the pronouns used. The character he's based on is a dude who crossdressed once to frick up some bandits or some shit. Which they probably incorporated into his design since it's kinda a neat idea if you want to keep the whole concept of servant identity secrecy.
What? Yamato Takeru actually canonically crossdresed?
what the frick...
the absolute state of Japanese "King Arthur".
It's even referenced in the game where you're inside his memories, you can hear some dude calling him a girl right before he gets killed
As the others said, this Saber was made explicitly with the idea of an unknown/genderless Saber that you knew nothing about, but with a "definite Japanese flair" . It has the same "sex :?" label that Astolfo has. The difference is that Astolfo himself tells you he's a guy, while in this game you read Saber mind and discover he's Yamato Takeru, who did dress up as a girl in real life (remember the Japanese flair thing?). In the Japanese dub, Iori uses 彼 when talking about Saber's past, which is a demonstrative pronoun used for men (and by extension, boyfriends). Pixiv users are already pushing dozens of trap fanart of Saber and fujos said the game was full of yaoi bair
It's obviously being used to market to shippergayggots. Takeru's story has been pretty consistent with his "IRL" counterpart. It is pretty safe to assume he's a lad. The only reason they're being made genderless is to bait both heteros and homos and bypass certain censorship laws. It's a win-win situation for them in every angle.
>bypass certain censorship laws
Like what? Chinese ones? I thought they censored FGO to death over there already.
Interviews had Sakurai, or someone, state something along the lines that they wanted a truly genderless saber, so yeah. They're never going to confirm what Takeru is because it isn't in their interest, even if it does lean male.
People use Takeru having a wife as an example, but even OG Saber had a wife, and a dick, at some point.
They probably just on the fence on whether they want Takeru to be male or not and depend on how people react, they'll retcon/confirm his gender later down the line.
They'll never confirm it, Japs aren't Americans that need an answer for anything. For them, ambiguity is an answer already. Plus, they don't even subscribe to the nonbinary gender fluid stuff that much, for them "unknown" really means unknown. Although the fact that Iori uses 彼 when he probes Saber's mind serves as proof. You could say that Iori might be talking about a past Takeru who isn't Saber, but it's really splitting hair and with the aforementioned fetish for boys cross dressing, all the common yaoi tropes and the Japanese community all recognizing Saber as a guy, it's safe to assume he's a guy. Unknown really means "you decide" anyway. Again, it's not like the Americans
nooo but I need a canon answer and a marvel spinoff for full experience
Nah japs wouldn't give a shit to put gays in their games, implied or not. It's that they are degenerate coomers and love the "unknown gender person" trope, doubly so if it's a young boy. Japan has a long history of cross dressing and in the XVII century teen and pre-teen boys would dress up as women prostitutes. Men liked it so much that actual women would dress up as the boys so that the men would get even more excited since they'd only discover they were gonna frick a woman or a boy only after being alone in a room
>they'd only discover they were gonna frick a woman or a boy only after being alone in a room
Damn that's fricking hot
Saber & Archer bro...
I'm enjoying the boys
Draw A Girl Call It A Boy: Tne Game
not only that, the game and literally everyone in the game treated Saber as a girl, just to tell us she's a boy near the end of the game. literally a TRAP.
So what will the DLC be about? Playable Gilgamesh will probably be included since they won't miss out on doing that, especially with that new version of cosmic air.
>A Season Pass for three new episodes starring new Servants.
>Grants access to 3 Additional Episodes that will be added in the future for a discounted price.
>The Season Pass Bonus will be released on the same day as the game. Item 1 is planned to be released before the end of April 2024. Item 2 is planned to be released before the end of July 2024. Item 3 is planned to be released before the end of September 2024.
>The additional episodes will feature a new story, new Servants, new skills, new areas, new enemies, new Mountings, etc.
>In order to play the content featured in the Season Pass, you need to reach a certain point in the game.
At the very least they can unveil mystery homie.
I worry about its implementation since you need story progress, as since they're 2-3 months apart, I don't want to NG+ every time to seek out the new content.
I would prefer new new characters, not Digressions for those who aren't playable: Rider, Caster, Gilgamesh, Tamamo Aria (who has unused combat animations in the datamine?).
>2024
lmao do people actually download/install/boot up offline game that they've beaten long ago?
I'll probably just watch them on youtube.
I did that with cyberpunk 2077.... because it's actually more fun to play through it instead of just watching a youtube video of someone else doing it.
>mystery homie
It was musashi, your moronic theory will never come true.
I just hope they add Muramasa.

how cute, he takes some else's fan fic as canon
I finished the route where you help dorothea with assassin, and it felt kind of incomplete? Like chiemon and jeanne just die? And what even happens to Iori at the end it not even shown. I like the game but the gameplay got a bit tiring towards the end.
> and it felt kind of incomplete? Like chiemon and jeanne just die?
you unlock more digressions in new game+ that shows what happens to them
What if I choose Tsuchimikado route? do I get that digression?
yes
I wonder if the DLCs will end a different ending. The true end fits but it's also a punch in the dick. Especially with Kaya at the end.

>dodging enemy attack is frick hard when Iori's attack animation is too damn long
Get the water stance dodge for all stances when you can. Dodging and riposting is never really hard, but it makes it even easier.
Riposting is a much easier way to shred shell gauges than spamming servant affinity skills AND riposting instantly maxes your current stance buff so you can swap to another. Apex playstyle of the game is flowing as quickly as you can between all the stances with as many buffs going as you can possibly manage instead of Void/Fire Xspam

How? I'm 20 in and on chapter 3.
The later chapters are relatively short and it depends on whether that anon did all the moronic grindy trials or not. My first playthrough took something like 30 hours and I did all of them.
>the first Fate game with full psychopath mc who will keep the bloody ritual on so he can keep practicing the katana until he starts killing gods and demons

>Iori uses Musashi’s rival technique against her to send her to Las Vegas
The entire game was worth the price just for that moment.
Who will be the Grand Saber?
Musashi dual-wielding katana and Excalibur.
The notorious Eric Bloodaxe
King Arthur (Male) is already in a Counter-Force sponsored journey chasing a Beast to kill it, doesn’t that tick all the boxes to be Grand Saber?
Yeah, but it'll be our beloved Seibah in a cute dress or takeuchi will kill himself.
>Grand lancer
>Isn't lancealot
Despite being quite a Fate moron I was unaware this game existed until the moment it launched. I got it 4 days ago and I'm shocked by how fricking good this game is and especially how much higher the effort and production value is compared to Extella Link. The story is awesome, the combat is awesome, there's so much content, every character is either interesting or a cutie, there's no boring moments and the action is constant. Music is badass.
This is geniunely the GOTY for me so far and I'm shocked there's a Fate game now that rivals the quality of something like Persona 5.
too bad it's so fricking grindy if you actually want to unlock stuff and loading time and frame rate are atrocious if you play on Switch. Xeno 3 didn't have this problem despite being a "heavier" game.
That's on you for being a Nintendo cumdumpster anon.
I'm almost always outside. I need portability.
Just get a portable device that is not an actual scam using 15 years old hardware?
There's handheld PCs out there around 300 bucks that can run this game without even heating up.
>This is geniunely the GOTY for me so far and I'm shocked there's a Fate game now that rivals the quality of something like Persona 5.
> The story is awesome, the combat is awesome, there's so much content, every character is either interesting or a cutie, there's no boring moments and the action is constant. Music is badass.
But enough about your average Dynasty Warriors game.

bro what the frick is wrong with some anons here, are they literally like 14? lmao

Last big thing I saw was Lancer killing Tsuchimikado at the end of chapter 4.
Now I am farting around doing quests.
Only real issues is shell gauges are a b***h to take down, even in the stances that are supposed to be good against them
>Only real issues is shell gauges are a b***h to take down
Wind stance is a meme despite how it advertises itself, you're better off
>Raising MAT by getting the nodes and upgrading your MAT mounting
>Using servants whenever off cooldown
>Using servant affinity skills, especially ones that let you keep control of Iori and able to keep swinging while they're stunlocking the enemy
>Noble Phantasms
>Feeding your servant the cheap affinity foods that restock every chapter
>Riposting!!!
>Earth counter(done correctly)
>the final gem abilities learned from the end of servant digressions
There's also some skill nodes that universally raise how much damage you do to shells/monsters/servants etc that are always worth picking up since skillpoints are effectively infinite
>doesn't think a big golden fish is beautiful
MAT by getting the nodes and upgrading your MAT mounting
Been doing that
servants whenever off cooldown
I should do this more, just feels a waste on trash fights
servant affinity skills, especially ones that let you keep control of Iori and able to keep swinging while they're stunlocking the enemy
I like the water stream one that uses 2 orbs
Phantasms
I save those for bosses
your servant the cheap affinity foods that restock every chapter
good point
!!!
I try to aim for those
counter(done correctly)
problem is doing it correctly
>>the final gem abilities learned from the end of servant digressions
no idea if I am at the end of those are not
counter(done correctly)
This is so underrated. It's to easy to do, take a good chunk of their shell gauge. Then basically stuns them so you can switch to void and melt their shield before switching back to do another block/counter and repeat.
The only thing I was worried before buying the game was that it was a Musou, still bought it because it was a Fate game and I was surprised how lite it is with the Musou aspects, it still has mob enemies that you send away flying but the boss fights are way more interesting (most of them are still easy even on Sword Fighter difficulty though) and you aren’t capturing and recapturing bases/camps over and over and over again.
there's a reason why I compare it the most to Persona 5 Strikers than actual Musous
nobody asked shitsona man

So, in those Leylines missions, what does Tamamo do actually? I always tried to clear every nodes available, so I always unlock both Ueno and her. But unlike other servants, she just stands there on Ueno's node without doing anything.
Gives Iori 2 actions per turn when you summon Tamamo. Basically move twice for every turn.
Tamamo will go ahead and capture a bunch of nodes for you and grant you the mat from the instantly and also all the bonus moves from them.
I am not proud to admit that this is the moment that literally broke me and I immediately uninstalled the game. It had moronic moments before that too, but I feel that whole exchange was fricking insultingly moronic that I feel my IQ goes into the minus just reading it out loud. Now I feel like I've been given a lifetime mission to shit up every SR or Fate thread that I came across and could afford to spare time to shit in it.
ah i see you haven't played fate/extella yet
Yes, I avoided that game because I've legends about it.
I've legends too! I am the legend i am
Please no bully, I did admit that my IQ goes into the minus in the previous post, didn't I.
why are you weebs like this, get the frick outta my sight
No one should play /Extella.
the Extraverse has a neat setting concept put in a cage surrounded by incredibly bad decisions.
>let's make Plants spawn Aggressors at an annoying rate to invade your territory and you'll need to clear adds to even damage them (fixed in Link)
>let's make Extella Maneuver (Musou) back to back spammable and a single use your best source of crowd clearing for Plants (replaced by 4 cooldown skills in Link)
>let's lock your Noble Phantasm behind 3 collectibles on the map (fixed in Link and Samurai Remnant)
>let's split the protagonist in 3 for different routes where 2 are waifu pandering and the third with Altera is actually interesting (Link instead is a gameplay sequel where Charlemange is introduced but doesn't move the plot forward)
gaming time
I think the worst part of Extella for me was the complete removal of the swap mechanic so if you get bored of square square triangle for one servant you could square square triangle on another. Now you're such to 1 per scenario.
Even Extella was way more fun than candy chugging simulator.
>got mindbroken by a whimsical airhead's fetch quest

Did you know that historically samurai would take on a young boy as an apprentice, and that this relationship would grow into something sexual. The apprentice was tasked with always attending to their samurai master's needs and comfort, and in turn the samurai was expected to educate the boy in all things needed to grow into a strong adult. This included sex, and they'd even be required to swear oaths to one another that this sexual relationship was honest. Some samurai preferred these relationships so much that they would bemoan being expected to sire heirs with women of their own age.
I just thought that was interesting.
Male-male relationship was considered to be true love back then, a wife is just a tool to give you children.
That's certainly interesting. Thanks for sharing anon. Can't wait for the doujins.
How accurate is this really compared to the "ancient roman gay vases" poem that is up to interpretation. Although, I've seen old japanese work of art that show men and men literally fricking. But, it could just be ancient yaoi doujin.
A samurai having sexual relationship with his page(s) is an actual thing. Ranmaru was famously Nobunaga's fucboi, so much so that modern depictions try to make him outright female or >draws a girl, calls it a boy.
>Ranmaru
>modern depictions try to make him outright female or >draws a girl, calls it a boy.
Now I gotta rewatch Binbougami ga. Also, what is up with ancient apprenticeship? The student (usually a boy or younger men) is almost always the teacher's cumdump.
>The student (usually a boy or younger men) is almost always the teacher's cumdump.
It probably would be very awkward if it was the other way around.
Kek. Of course. But really though, it's fricking everywhere. Ancient Japan, Greece, I think China and some parts of the Middle east too. It is still happening to this day. What is it about a student-teacher relationship that turn it into something sexual?
the ones about greeks are lies, the ones about romans outside of the ruling classes probably,
who knows with the japanese
read this
nobody on the internet would ever lie
you ever read the story of Gengobei? Samurai would have sex with both women and little boys (below the age of 16, because boy officially became men at the age of 16). People of the time thought that Gengobei was weird because he had sex with ONLY little boys, and didn't like women.
I had fun with the combat until Void. Yes, I can avoid using it, but my brain will just adjust to play the game in the most braindead of ways. Don't know why they decided to add Void, Fire still felt nice because it has that drawback of low HP=higher DPS and at high HP the stance is pretty heavy and slow, so you kinda have to somewhat balance and take risks. Void basically encourages the player to play the game in the most boring way. Also, I fricking hate, HATE the final boss. Literal MMO boss with billions HP and shield. Frick that shit. I read that the game was supposed to be a masocore like Souls. I can totally see the basis or remnant of that design in the current build. The early part of the game, outside of clearing mobs with Water, going 1v1 with the "tougher" mobs does feel like playing Nioh.
>I read that the game was supposed to be a masocore like Souls
Where did you hear this? The game was developed by Omega Force so it never was going to anything like Nioh/Souls.
https://noisypixel.net/fate-samurai-remnant-originally-punishing-gameplay-made-newcomer-friendly/
Nowhere in that article mentioned "masocore" or "Souls". Also I checked the Japanese interview, and even in it the director admitted to aim for a Musou experience from the start
>Also, this is kind of a backstory (laugh), but at the time I was playing "Fate/stay night," I was working on the Musou series, and the impression I had of Servants was that they were "Musou. I thought it would be a great feeling if I could express this in an action game. On the other hand, their masters have an overwhelming difference in strength compared to their Servants. They are the kind of beings that can be killed easily. I also thought that this would make for a tense game. So the idea of making a "Fate" game by Koh Shibusawa was a godsend for me (laughs).
死にゲー, or "death game," is used twice. That is seemingly used to describe the Souls games in Japan.
https://ranking.net/rankings/best-shinige
Using Google Translate, the title of the article is
>“Fate/Samurai Remnant” developer interview just before release. Until the game that was ``a death game'' was completed as a Fate work that ``everyone can play''
Later on,
>--The ``Fate'' series is a work whose background setting is difficult to understand, and action games are a genre that requires people to choose. What approach does Fate/Samurai Remnant take for newcomers?
>Mr. Sho: First of all, as an action game, we have a ``difficulty setting'' as a basic part. Difficulty levels are also available for action game beginners. To tell you the truth, in the early stages of development, we envisioned this game as a so-called "death game" type of severe action game.
>However, when I consulted with Mr. Nasu and others, I realized that (among the players who were supposed to be able to play this work), those who tried to play this work after Fate/Grand Order would not be able to play it. There was an opinion. So we decided to change direction to ``aiming to be an action RPG that everyone can play.'' For this reason, in this work, in addition to setting the difficulty level, we focused on ``how to make the controls simple and easy to understand,'' and ``positioning'', ``distance'', and ``enemy'', which are the basics of strategy in combat action games. We are focusing on creating "gaps" that are visually easy to understand.
Ah okay, that part was below the one I quoted so I missed it. The production probably would have been handed to Team Ninja, not Omega Force, if they greenlit that direction though. Once again proving Nasu is a stupid hack.
Get out of a town, go to another, kill random grunts, return to asakusa, kill the grunts there, go to another town, repeat and rinse.
Grind is absolutely NOT necesary, but if you are in a pinch, its there if you don't mind not advancing for a few hours.
If you want a good trick and have the game installed to an SSD, you can just
>do fight
>walk slightly away from immediate combat area
>save
>load
and it'll refresh/reroll all the local encounters
I used that to quickly grind all the doll cores or whatever that shitter mat is for Crafting 3
Musashi inseki sex with her adopted son
Mana transfer scene with Saber or Dorothea depending on the route.
Dunno why i keep playing it. The game is pretty bad. Story so far has been boring and the gameplay is musou, but without the good parts. Extella games were far better than this
Also, every stance thats not water sucks ass
>Also, every stance thats not water sucks ass

Fricking moronic, I want my character to be cool and not being overshadowed by what is basically my slave
Anon both the MC and his servant end up forming 5 different alliances, save most of Edo and defeat a bunch of bosses in the first 4 hours. Can you stop lying? You're gonna make Tamamo cry.
I'm not lying, I'm just telling my experience from playing the first 4-5 hours of the game.
To be fair.... MC is just regular dude who didn't know about servants and grail wars before this whole shit started.
He does end up being strong enough to take down servants by the end of the game.
Oh I understand that. I know that probably late game you become a killing machine. What pissed me off is that a servant appears with some legendary sword, and her every move is fantastic, meanwhile you're stuck changing the ornaments on your shitty sword, didn't even seem like changing the weapons themselves was an option. I really disliked that.
the mc gets literally cucked by his servant at the end as well, this game is made for cucks i.e. asians and weebs

the good
>stories about enemy masters

>loot is based on story progress so you are gonna get 1*/bronze mounting and no exp from carving statues
New game+ contains some new scenes, changed dialogue in certain sequences, you can choose to play the other ending route or go for the unlocked third route, and there's extra digressions for some of the other Master+Servant combos.
>Rider's identity reveal

Puberty must have been a very interesting experience for mommy Raikou
How come this Raikou is a murderous Oni, but the older Raikou is chill?
It's been forever since I read the original Onigashima event, but this manifestation seems to very specifically be her oni blood side, Ushi Gozen, an alter ego of sorts where historically they would be siblings in Fate I think
So, she's a demons with an abusive dad that then goes on a crazy murder spree, then somehow meets a child and gets attached to it and then somehow learns to love. In the original tale, what happens to Minamoto-no-Raikou in the end? Did she found atonement or something?
It gets hinted and pointed out she reverts back to how she was before after the raid and purge of Shuten and the other oni in Mount Ooe, except not as crazy and more focused on the task. Kintoki basically compares her to a Yakuza boss if she got summoned as her preferred saber class. Basically berserker, lancer and rider versions are her when she’s younger while Saber is her when she’s older.
>Minamoto-no-Raikou summoned as a teenager, the time of her life when she was a monster. The period where she was a guardian of the human realm and weapon of apparition slaughter devised by her father Minamoto no Mitsunaka, before she had any of the emotions of a human girl.
edgy teen phase
This is basically when the child abuse from her dad was still getting higher and before she meet Tsuna and the other heavenly kings and raised Kintoki.

As in she'll eat your guts type of rough sex.
April can’t come soon enough
>the older Raikou is chill?
I wouldn't call her chill, more like she is mentally broken in a different way in her berserker form
does anyone know a reliable way to trigger showdowns for that one dudes challenge list?
Battle Recollection against a Servant > get Iori to low HP > have Saber Assist Iori from being attacked by button mashing them (a Showdown)
>have Saber Assist Iori from being attacked by button mashing them
but how reliable is it for Saber to jump in?
idk who's saber
Do I need NG+ for Gil ending?
no. Just do all his side quests.
You don't but it's much easier on NG+
What transfer over to ng+? I honestly cant see myself doing all the grindy and tedious shit im doing right now
Pretty much everything, including digression progress so you don't have to replay them. You'll keep all your mountings, items, levels, skills, etc
You can also skip most scenes and it'll flash a warning in the skip menu if the scene has new NG+ text or not. There's also a good deal of NG+ only digressions that focus on Lancer/Archer/Assassin
>What transfer over to ng+?
Everything including levels, equipment, skills and all the side quests you finished(tho you can do them again) and all the local trails. All the digressions you saw already will be marked with Complete so you can skip them all next time around.
>Wind Stance is by far the coolest stance in the game.
>Its absolute shit 99% of the time.
Why couldn't the miasma attacks do actual damage? I still use as my main stance it because its aesthetic asf.
The heavy 1 attack is great, rest is trash like most of the stances
>frick up the timing
>now i'm stuck charging the cuckball, open to enemies' attacks
You can interrupt the enemy by using a servant move (not the one where Iori has to combo with Saber) and kept charging the damn fireball. Although, I feel like even at max charge, the giant fireball doesn't do that much damage anyways.
>when you were playing vidya gaem, I was training the katana

Iori will have fun in Chaldea since it's inevitable that he'll be the welfare for the cross-over event in FGO.

Musashi would also get her outfit for Berserker/Saber
In that case I'd want Musashi to surpass him because it's dumb that a legend like that is surpassed by her literal who student.
Did they finally make a good Fate protag besides Shirou?
It's so tiresome hitting guards.
It's moronic that I can evade, but not guard.
i hate the gameplay tbh bros and the fact the story is a little incomplete and the pacing is kinda ass makes me go from making this a 8/10 to a 6-7/10. Still enjoyable but frick me this feels rushed out the gate
I watched gameplay videos and combat looks... odd at best. It's like characters teleport each time they swing a sword and attacks are instantaneous. I had some hopes but now I'm going to skip. Shame, I liked art style and setting.
I can't take these mother fricking weaboos man i can't take these mother fricking weaboos i can't take these mother fricking weaboos.
kill em all kill em all kill us all. i fricking love twista
>crying about weebs to a moronic vtubing Black person
?
country of origin?
My nationality or my skin colour won't change the fact that you're a mentally ill moron screeching, screaming into the void like the deranged autist that you are.
come on, say it then what are you so fricking afraid of?
Because unlike the mentally challenged moron that you are, I don't judge on other people's opinion solely based on their nationality/race. Only a thin skinned loser like yourself who has achieved nothing in life would jack off and piggyback on other people's achievements solely because they share the same nationality/skin colour, homosexual. Kys you useless piece of shit.
just admit it already it's not that difficult. we already know THAT area has a lack of information which causes the population to be ignorant moronic monkeys
Would that change anything? Honest question.
yes
Nationality is tricky question because I don't consider myself belonging to any nation at all but was born and live in Poland just like my family since basically forever.
I ask my question again - does that change anything? Would my opinion have different meaning if I was born in neighbouring country? Or across the ocean?
Why're you even answering that Black person's dumb ass question seriously?
I'm curious. That's all.
this man is so stupid he legit doesn't even know what country he's from
LOL
shut your b***h ass down same for you eurodumbass durr Black person Black person, shut the frick up brazil
You didn't ask me about country, you asked me about nationality. Some person might live in one country but consider themselves to belong to different nation. Some countries are composed of many smaller nations. If you don't like the answer, perhaps you should think about asking right question.
>country of origin?
>country of origin?
>country of origin?
>country of origin?
>country of origin?
holy shit this polacker can't even read
hahahahahahahah
ahahahahahahahahaha
gwahahahahahahahahahaha
i'm frickign dying here holy shit
You alright there?
Fine! YOU CAUGHT ME. I'M BRAZILLIAN, happy?
fricking knew it
Take your meds, Black folk.
anyone got this pic of musashi but with the caption "we do a little tomfoolery"?
I got you covered, hon.
much obliged
what's the best saber (artoria) doujin?
>lmao he's a eurohomie
every single time i swear europe has the most gaygiest anons its unreal
>americans are dumb
Of course. As expected. No wonder you're sperging. Can't afford those medications, huh.
who said im american? :3
Here's your last (You)s you pathetic Black folk. I'm sorry your parents are pieces of shit that can't raise decent and functional human beings. But, sperging on Ganker.org is not the way to deal with your traumas. Have fun hanging from the ceiling. :3
:3 did a blackbro steal your gf? also even a 6yo would admit when they're wrong LOL
I literally want to destroy Saber's pussy(male).
I don't even worry if Saber is male or female. Cute is cute.
Don't know why people are even shipping these two. While Saber would pout, or make cute facial animation, even blush from time to time, they don't exude romantic energy at all. Iori kept denying Kaya's remarks about the nature of their relation. Which is weird when you know about the plot tweeeest.
because it's hot
He has a wife
Then I'll make her watch as I breed her husband's ass. https://files.catbox.moe/xb0kr6.jpg
Perfect, we can have threesomes then.
ughhhh language autism is so stupid, can someone just validate the opinion that the gameplay of this game is just garbage? there's barely any feedback with iori which makes the game feel bad, all the enemies are just health sponge at higher levels. there's really not even a combo system. it's just kinda ass
how is saber getting magical energy tho?
The usual way, by giving them lots of hot, sticky, white rice
Through rice
Is Miso-shiru really that tasty? The japs are shiling it as if it's the nectar of the gods itself.
why she looks like young Angela (Mercy)
So wait, can powerful servants just straight up ignore command spells? Since when was this a thing? Rider just straight up shrugs off two command spells
She doesn't. Yue just made really dumb commands.
Rider is more insane than the berserker version that Yui’s commands are being interpreted differently.
I believe it was established in Stay Night that servants with very high magic resistance and independent action are less effected by command spells. As for Ushi Gozen I think she got by because she legit thought she was still following her master's orders.
I had a friend who brought this up while we were watching through the entire series
Every single time someone used a command seal and the servant wanted to refuse, he'd go "keep this in mind for later"
so like when Lancer was forced to kill himself, or Saber was forced to destroy the holy grail at the end of Zero he'd nudge me and tell me to remember it
Then when we watched Apocrypha and Astolfo got all 3 command seals to kill the kid but he just ignored it, my friend went "SEE, WHAT'D I FRICKING TELL YOU, THREE FRICKING COMMAND SEALS, WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT. SABER ONLY HAD ONE AND SHE COULDN'T RESIST, WHAT THE FRICK IS UP WITH THAT?"
People should let go of this idea that Fate media after Hollow Ataraxia has anything to do with the original duology.
This, specificity is very important. Orders like "destroy the holy grail" or "have a nice day" are much harder to resist than more generalized commands like "do as I say".
>I order you to stop
>rider stops for like 2 seconds
Checks out
>order Saber to teleport across the town from the Emiya residence to the school
>she teleports across the town in the blink of an eye
Are you implying that it works differently?
No, I’m agreeing with you. Giving a simple fricking command like stop wouldn’t actually do anything.
>flashback of Saber with his ponytail undone
post yfw you realized Iori is the Samurai Remnant
Haven't played the game yet but came here to say that Musashi rapes shotas
I love Tamamo Aria!!!!!!
Playing this and having a blast with the plot. Just hit Final Chapter. One thing I'm confused about is the twist with Iori having been trained by Sasaki Kojiro. Wasn't Kojiro's thing in F/sn that he was only summoned because Caster could only make a fake Servant and Kojiro was only a legend and never actually existed? Why does he exist here as an actual person, and one who is capable of Tsubame Gaeshi no less? Is this a Grand Order thing?
Who cares dude he can do the Tsubame Gaeshi with TWO SWORDS!!!
It might have to do something with the world of Samurai Remnant actually being a pruned timeline so things don't have to be 1/1 with true history.
Ah okay, I guess that makes sense.
Yeah I won't lie, the reveal earlier and the chapter got my blood pumping with anticipation. In general this is my favorite Fate thing I've gone through since Hollow Ataraxia, which admittedly isn't a high bar.
Also as a reminder to everyone in the thread, Takao Dayu was born in 1640 and this game takes place in 1651. Her debut at Miura-ya was in 1655 in real life. But none of that matters anyway, because Dorothea best girl
FGO made it canon that he does exist via Shimosa except the reason Musashi and him never fought was because of being born too late to fight them at their peak.
Assassin then was a wraith most closely matching the details of his legend. At this point in Fate, I wouldn't fully trust F/SN's original declaration that he was a complete fictional character, and using SR and Shimosa as examples, I'd trust him to be real and eventually come out as a Saber(True)
Yes, but calling him evil isn't wholly right
Do the routes I pick in ng+ affect getting the decision that leads to the special ng+ ending at all or can I really do anything and still get it if I choose the right option at the end?
i think there's 1 different line of dialogue based on what you do but beyond that it's the same so you can do whichever. the choice for the ng+ ending will always be there.
The only option that decides your ending is when you have to pick between going after Tsuchimikado or going after assassin, on ng+ you get another option after defeating Mushashi for the third ending regardless of the previous two routes
as someone who hit that point last night, how long is left on a first run?
Is it worth doing ng+ just for the evil Iori route. I guess you get to see the other routes and level the workshop too
is she the worst servant? all her skills kinda sucks.
This game's format would make a good F/SN RPG. New route where Shirou gets a buttload of weapons and styles and a lot of Servants join you against some big bad like the shadow.
Extending Shoutsetsu’s lifespan with Mana transfer!
For the longest time I've never understood why they haven't made a turn based pvp game where its just your standard, seven way free for all Holy Grail War.
>a turn based pvp game
Not exactly like that no.
Each player only has control of their respective servant and the goal would be to navigate around the map and take down enemy servants/masters. And you would be able to do things such as form alliances with your rivals to take down stronger opponents or go to town gorging your servant with Mana either by securing Ley Lines or mowing down civilians.
So is it boy or girl
Who?
Doesn't matter
Yes
only two options? bigot
Both
Girls
First playthrough done. Game is pretty good. I got close to but didn’t manage to get level 4 workshop on my first playthrough unfortunately, not enough mats
>best passive ability in the game (extra evasion in any stance) locked behind the route most people won’t take first playthrough because going after assassin is the obvious choice
I’m a little mad.
>because going after assassin is the obvious choice
wait, that is the obvious choice?
It’s pretty obvious to stop the rampaging monster first before going after something not as urgent yea.
there's a kaiju attack on japan every few weeks its not such a big deal
>not as urgent
you were going after the FRICKING MASTERMIND of the Waxing Moon.
Plus if Assassin kills Dorothea, Assassin goes poof anyway
Regardless not having the upped evasion in void stance sucks and I won’t get it until the last third of my second playthrough. There’s a obvious right pick for gameplay purposes.
Yes
>Are you enjoying Fate Samurai Remnant?
No. I uninstalled it in like 2-3 hours. It was fricking awful.
who is this and what game is she from?
read the fricking thread
i've watched gameplay of this and i've not seen her in any of it.
>Saber, by the power of this command seal, I order you to job against that high school teacher!
>caster gets 3 command seals and summons a literal god and STILL jobs to Chadori
>Saber, by the power of this command seal, I order you to frick my sister!
>saber jam your pointed weapon of exceptional caliber into my wife's lesser grail
I hate the wasting the first command seal trope.
Is it a trope? I haven't followed anything past HA.
Rin and Shirou both do it in SN.
So, Zheng had all his command seals restored when he lost archer and formed a new contract with caster right? What’s stopping masters that are working together from swapping contracts just to restore their command seals?
bad writing
I know. But to be a trope it needs to be a thing that happens regularly.
I thought Rin's case was meant to introduce you to the idea that even though she might be very competent 99 percent of the time she's awful at not cracking to the pressure of a heated situation where the right decisions need to be made instantly. Hence her chemistry with Sherou.
Yeah the chemistry bit too, it was a good double whammy. Nasu's pretty good about working plot and characterization together.
I noticed it's kind of a regular occurrence now too.
F/SN did it with Rin to show how command seals work. Shirou wastes his in 2/3rds of the routes, and the one he doesn't waste one comes back to bite him in the ass.
if grand saber isn't saber it just means saber is actually grand ultra mega turbo exsaberber
