waiting for 5k series, this one was extremely minor improvements. super series usually is replaced in the same year or early next year of its introduction to the market. this arch and node is quite old now
Everything is fricking stupid expensive
Chink takeaway or kebab was so cheap I'd just get it giving it a single thought. Now the fricking thing costs as much as a meal at a genuine restaurant used to. It's all so tiresome.
Thai food here went from (roughly converted prices) $8 to $14 for a simple phad thai dish, I'm extremely lucky I found a lunch time only kebab place that still sells rolls absolutely stuffed with admittedly average meat but at only $3 a roll but it's the best find I've ever made
>nono listen, you HAVE to upgrade even though videogames have plateaued already
id rather put that money into a new high flow exhaust system or an ecu tune
>regular version still has 12GB of VRAM >16GB version is in a similar price range to 4080 >BUT you can get 4060 if you really want 16GB VRAM >the only alternative is AMD which is fine for games but absolutely shit for anything else
GPU market is a fricking joke and I hate both companies
I'm running Nvidia right now, I've had AMD before and the fact that 95% of the AI stuff is on CUDA has deterred me from picking AMD again. AMD has workarounds but most of them is either shit or just plain doesn't work and with the current GPU prices getting a card that _might_ do what I want it to do is moronic. They had literal decades to figure this shit out, I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on what is essentially a coin toss.
unironically you don't need more than 12gbb
if you find a scenario you do you most likely are eating shit off a plate
online multiplayer games never have this scenario because if they ran like shit on your computer they wouldn't make any money
>refreshes the series >11 months before the next generation hits >because they couldn't ever admit they fricked up the pricing >negligible gains anyway
If I were to buy, I'd just buy AMD and wait for Blackwell.
Is the black variant of 4070 TI super Vulcan even exists? I want to get i,t but even finding the white ones is rarer than finding white tigers.
GB removed the LCD from their Aorus for the Ti Super cards, so this is like the next best thing.
There's nothing wrong with MSI. The problem is that people keeps buying shitty budget lineup and they compared it with the high-end/flagship cards.
Just don't buy their entry/budget cards like Ventus and such. MSI Gaming X cards are pretty fine, and MSI Suprim cards is one of the best one on the market right now.
Stop skimping out on your GPUs, get the one that's at least on par with FE cards.
I am considering getting the RTX 4080 Super to replace my GPU, grabbing a new PSU since the PC has been around since 2017, and finally upgrading the boot drive for more program space. Here's the current build. >MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 CFX Micro-ATX Motherboard >EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ GOLD 650W >GTX 1660 Super >G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform >WD Blue 2TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive (General Drive) >PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (Boot Drive) >SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB (Games)

Fricking seriously that shit doubled in price, what was something I'd drink daily it's not a luxury

why aren't you drinking raw milk
hurts my tummy
change your smoke detector batteries
they pay you to shill here right?
>Buying a modern graphics card and then playing modern games
>Buying a modern graphics card
Yes
>and then playing modern games
This is where you fricked up
THANK YOU BASED AMD!
>$600 for 50 teraflops and 20 GB
Not bad anon
They dropped price on my local Microcenter, I'm gonna cop one when they open.
damn, good deal
Microcenter needs to hurry up and finish building their place here in Miami. I want cheap GPUs within 20m driving distance.
7900 XT is based af. I have the reference model and it runs cool and quiet.
I'm still on a 1080ti.
No need to upgrade since modern games are trash and I still play at 24" 1080p. I don't like 27".
You need to upgrade every 1-2 years

bro
you're INTEL gpu
?
>use intel igpu
>have 64gb ram, which can be used by igpu
>???
>PROFIT
CHECKMATE NVIDIA
Intel isn't even an actual player in the market.

no no that is just ignorant

Just bought a 4070 TI super because I can't fly high enough in palworld with my 1060.
Sure am anon.
>MSI
Reminds me of Ganker telling me to stay away from MSI.
My MSI 1080 still works but I upgraded to a 7900XTX
Why?
They use heatpipes on direct dies for GPUs.
What I heard was bios issues.
idk why gpu needs a bios.
MSI is fine, just avoid anus and gigacrap.
Eh, last two motherboards have been MSI and I have had no trouble, the last MSI GPU I had was no trouble either. The last GPU I have was EVGA, RIP.
MSI has a dragon in its logo. Dragonfrickers are superior human.
>Stay away from MSI
Their Nvidia cards are ok. Their AMD cards suck because they use inferior coolers for Radeon.
There's nothing wrong with MSI. The problem is that people keeps buying shitty budget lineup and they compared it with the high-end/flagship cards.

Never go full moron
I have classic version not regreting it. But if the 5070 is released with 16gb vram i likely sell it and buy new one for AI.
>that color scheme
More like Troonvidia
it's not the best brand, but the design is very slick

>PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (Boot Drive)
>SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB (Games)
Patrick I think you should consider getting CPU, your PC won't work without one.
cpu doko?
>650W PSU
Doesn't a 4080 require 800W minimum?
>10% performance increase
>costs more
I'll pass
yes but i have issues, my dlsss didnt work anymore also i have performance problems and the games dosent work so good like at the beginning
yeah, planning to build a pc around may with a 4080 super, hope they iron out the kinks and some new variants come out in the meantime
Ye. Especially since I got it right before the China embargo and price hikes.
It still feels like I only just got my 3080
