The skill meta is probably being left untouched so I've got no interest in playing the same shit we've been stuck with for the last year+. Doesn't matter how good the league is if we're stuck with the same 3-4 skills unless you want to play something where you need to invest 300 times more effort to get the same result.

I liked this game when it felt like the game started when you hit maps. Now the game feels like it only starts when you're farming t16s.

They are removing archnem mods, you fat moronic dipshit. But yes, I am excited. Currently alpha testing ruthless mode. PoE is my fave game of all time, I don't care what the haters say. The last few leagues have been rough, but there really isn't anything better.

Every season I do the same: make some shitty build that gets stomped when I get to tier 7/8 maps, get pissed, reroll a new character, make some shitty build that gets stomped when I get to tier 7/8 maps, quit, come back 5 months later, new patch is almost out, play one of my shitty builds to gather currency, when the patch drops transfer all of it to my stash.
I never follow builds, never trade with anyone and don't even play SSF, never play the base game even though I have thousands upon thousands of currency items including 200+ exalts and a mirror (all drops 2300 hour played)
And it's still the best ARPG out

generally speaking I don't like poe's "press button everything on the screen dies and sometimes the thing that dies is you" gameplay
I'd rather play a poe where there was 1% of the mob density but every enemy was rare or unique and there was more of a focus on chaining multiple spells together.

The mobs are unchanged. They're still too fricking many, too fricking fast, and do too much fricking damage.
Ruthless isn't fixing this issue at all. It's just violently reducing how fast you can become stronger, nothing else. You're still going to be pressing 1 button to try and kill everything, except 99% of the time, the thing that dies is you now.
these come out so quickly that i'm starting to think they're designed by AI
