Careful, RBB is the contrarian pick that makes anons feel special if they pretend to like it. It's not actually that bad, but I don't see how it could be anyone's favorite level.

A sizable amount of people hate CCW more than any other level, even tho nearly 100% of people would agree the idea/theme of the level is kino as fuck. CCW takes FOREVER which can be a pain when you just wanna get to the end of the game already and some people can spend hours in that fucking place.
Sure you only NEED to climb the tree 4 times, or 3 if flying in Winter doesn't count, but that's not realistically representative of new/casual players at all. The average person might climb that fucker over a dozen goddamn times. You have no indication which Jiggies/Notes are in which season. I can definitely sympathize with people who hate this place

I really don't think it takes that long. The only way it would is if you missed like one note somewhere and have no clue which season it's in.
it's the best level in kazooie by a landslide, how could anyone hate it?

The first time I played this I hated it, it felt like a slog but years later after replaying it I think it's actually the best level in the game and very creative.
>I like the idea of one stage with different variations
Man I wanna fucking make a ROM hack about this, I've wanted to literally for years but I'm a huge poorfag with no computer. I just want to make 3 new variants on all the worlds that mostly serve as a cosmetic difference, and offer people who've played BK a million times before some variety in the worlds they already know by heart.
Stuff like >treasure trove cove but at night, and stormy >freezeezy turned into a halloween level with big jack-o'-lantern replacing the snowman >Gobi's Valley but the oasis/desert areas are reversed, so 90% of the level has water and shade >Gobi's Valley but as a casino, like that famous one in LA >Bubblegloop Swamp but creepy and foggy
That's a good idea for a hack. I've always wanted to make hacks that feel more like an extended/remixed version of the game rather than an entirely new one. Like OoT but with a bonus dungeon and new sidequests or something. I have the computer, but I'm too busy/lazy right now to focus on that. Maybe one of these days.
It's like the water temple in OoT. It's not difficult, it's just a long step by step stage.
But this one at least has some charm and nice music, unlike that fucking water temple.
You don't think the water temple has charm and nice music? Maybe not as good as CCW's, but I still think it does.
It is pretty good, probably my favorite level. The only flaw is not saving the notes you collect and having multiple places where its easy to die. I heard they corrected on the recent ports. It took me 2 hours to get all the notes after multiple attempts.
>Need nearly every single jiggy to beat the game >Need nearly every note too >But here, have ten kajillion mumbo tokens that you can't use
I guess they just wanted the world to be filled with collectibles, but I always thought this was odd.
Same. My siblings and I would always load up my dad's save so we could play around in CCW. One day my sister accidentally erased the file. It felt like such an achievement when I finally made it back there on my own.
I like it fine. The Spring music is probably my favorite track in the game. I'm always really careful in the level, I would imagine dying and recollecting the notes in a level this big would be hell.
Rusty Bucket Bay is the worst, if only because of the Engine Room.

The theme park layouts of every level in Banjo leaves a lot to be desired. Click Clock Wood being a late stage that has the 4 base layout recycled 4 times leaves a lot to be desired. Banjo needed better content, not more of it.
crusty buttocks gay exists and people bitch about this one?
>crusty buttocks gay
You have a...unique mind.
If you hate RBB just because it was slightly, SLIGHTLY difficult you're a gayron mcspazzatron
Don't get me wrong, I like the level quite a bit, but I think it's a better example of a polarizing level.

It's always been that "this game is fucking incredible" moment for me
Loved it as a kid, feel like its wasting my time as an adult
CCW is 11/10
why would anyone hate it?

cuck clock wood
Sneed Feed Seed
Love that shit to death! Seasonal fucking around in a forest with big ass trees is always a joy.
I feel like RBB would be a better example.

worst level. all that verticality with banjos dogshit controls and camera.
if you fall off you have to waste your time climbing back up.
I used save states.
I liked it, but also felt it could’ve been better oddly enough

>i`m ready to settle down
I hate the way the Banjo games sound. It's demented and obnoxious.
I love it.
I was playing a game on /f/ and thought the style of the music sounded familiar, then found out it had been done by grant.
I think they meant the talking head dialogue icons
I like the idea of one stage with different variations.

this sounds kino, i wish you luck. i would love to play this.

It would have been fine if there was literally ANY indication how many Notes were in each season so you at last knew where the fuck to look

best in an already great game
