really does depend on what kind of archetype you like. if it's any consolation you can soon respec at camp for 100g which is basically free, in case you pick something you're not sure about
keep in mind many magic casting classes like wizard or sorcerer might feel a bit bad at first, but after they gain a few levels they get much better. classes like fighter are strong from the getgo and only get better, paladins are also very fun, clerics have great utility and a good mix of magic and offensive capabilities.
only class I'd say to avoid is ranger, it doesn't really bring anything to the table that other classes can do better
You can respec after the first dungeon. Just play the game and don't think too much minmaxing or doing everything perfectly.
