game models need to be "idealized" to match the tech limits, otherwise you get this uncanny valley, bug eye shit

Worse hair, different lighting and maybe even different skin texture, the jacket is clearly less detailed. Whichmeans that the first cinematic was not done in game engine and did not use direct 1 to 1. Frick it it is possible that there was no actual complete character model at that point and the cinematic came before the ingame model and this is probably why the hair choice is what it is right now. Especially if the hair has hair physics in the game engine. I am sure of it now. Those idiots made the CGI trailer first and created theingame model after that!!! IDIOTS!!!

For example, there are big differences between how well IRL model likeness is captured in Fallen Order. Cal looks like Cameron and Merrin looks like Tina, but there's clearly something wrong with Cere because while Debra Wilson isn't exactly attractive, her ingame model looks deformed compared to her IRL face.
