They stopped being at all interesting when they gave them lore and an actual reason for why they do things. They went from being ancient beyond reckoning, arcane machine gods with incomprehensible goals to being moronic computers crabs that are objectively wrong about everything and only do what their doing because of an error in their programming.
>things stop being mysterious because...i learn the mystery
Special kind of stupid. Yes they needed a reason to do what they did. And please never write.
stop being mysterious because...i learn the mystery
That's how it fricking works you fricking moron. If they're going to make the Reapers into enigmatic cosmic horror things then giving a in depth explanation about their history and motives fricking ruins it. Its the same reason horror movies stop being scary when you see that monsters.
You should get a job at Bioware, you'd fit in there.
You didn't get what i was saying but no surprise. My point is that it's ok that they gave them a reason and lore instead of just keeping everything a mystery. That sounds moronic. They would just come off as dumb robotic machines who do what they do for no obvious reason. Them having a character and a backstory is what made them memorable.
Metal cuttlefish with deep evil robotic voices that came out of nowhere at the end of ME1
that's the only time they were cool, they turned into a gay well known high profile fighting force of homosexualry in 2 and 3 and then the leviathan reveal cucked them even further into the jobber territory
Also a human fricking reaper that is comparatively tiny and would have looked moronic moving around even if it was completed what the frick

red is best because you get to live at the end of it
Have fun cleaning up the galaxy for the rest of your days when you could have had a reaper do it for you.
Fitting that you'd use that picture of that dumb b***h while posting such a shit opinion.
Green either means you handed the galaxy to the Reapers on a silver platter or forced the galaxy into a homosexual hivemind. Either way, nice work dumbass.
Yes. World building was good, there was a huge potential for kino sci-fi operator, mercenary, agent games. Instead they chose the most boring path, "save the galaxy"

I'm not the one that's stuck with a dead franchise, and a dying studio.
We tried to talk them out of it, but they decided slow death was better.
At this point, everything is going as expected.
I don't know what I should feel.
I finished the trilogy for the first time recently and I'm not mad as much as I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to replaying the trilogy until I got to the ending.
I really hope Mass Effect 4 will be good.
The Illusive Man was right, better to control the Reapers and live on as a defender of the universe and make the Geth useful Also don't frick Quarians, it's better to get rid of their species in favor of the Geth who can survive and be built anywhere in the galaxy to do what organics can't, like terraform uninhabitable planets to become suitable, like it was revealed in that one side mission as a gesture of good will till you fricking destroyed it.
Frick Green
Reds are alright
Blue, all the way
Why were the reapers so badass and memorable?
the one at the end of 2 was cooler
The human reaper was fricking dumb, and worst of all they retconned the idea of reapers looking like the species they were made of in 3
i don't get your post, you're saying the human reaper was dumb but the idea was solid?
>There is a reaper at the end!
>But no just any reaper...
>DON DON DOOOOOON
>IT'S A HUMAN REAPER
Really shit taste man
playing peekaboo with the terminator was a fricking awful way to end a game and everyone knows it
I think it was a pretty good homage to Contra, and a very nice ham way to finish ME2.
bug design for enemies is kino

that's why
Reapers were always lame
>you're like an insect which is why I'm going to spend 5 minutes of my time taunting you
Yup, Green still the best color though.
KEK ENDING
Red is the only way.

Eh. I think there's still problems, but the extended version at least addressed the lion's share of issues I had with the ending.
