This. I just know that if the game was remade at all, it would be massive departure and they'd probably remove Ashford altogether. My guess is that Capcom would take the general ideas and concepts of Code Veronica but create a completely different game which I suppose would fit into their more serious toned new remade timeline, but still, it doesn't change that it sucks that games are being so heavily tampered with because of an unstable demographic of morons in which like 90% of them don't actually care for the games they're trying to control and change anyway.
4 Remake kept a lot of the goofiness. They just don’t wanna remake Code Veronica because it was never a popular title.

It has nothing to do with your troony obsession, the game just isn't as well-known as the PS1 trilogy. It's the same reason why they will never remake RE0, or Outbreak.
It's a shame because it would be nice to get another RE2make style game, they had a great formula going. And CV had some cool ideas that weren't executed perfectly.

It will always be the niche Dreamcast game that few played at the time and many others found unappealing when they watched it on YouTube. CV has no real legacy to speak of, that's why it won't get a remake.

Other than the whole killing her brother herself part, it was mostly fine.
Ehhh, I hated the little girl voice and demeanor. I know Alexia cryogenically froze herself at 12, but she was also a super genius who graduated from college at the top of her class at 10. I didn’t get the impression that she was incredibly intelligent from her DSC portrayal.
