That's reasonable honestly, they would probably need to get Obsidian on the line and work with an unfinished game, both of which would be a poor idea for a quick buck that they want. Also no, Todd isn't on ill terms with them, lol.

yes it does make it a difference, theyre fundamentally two completely different products that serve different needs.
a car at its core is a transport from A to B, the bells and whistles are creature comforts and nice to haves.
a video game with 3/4ths of its content is just an unfinished product. a more appropriate comparison would be a book that had 25 random pages left out of the final print
They lost most of their remaining veteran staff developing Redfall, Dishonored 3 is going to be a disaster helmed by that overrated moron Harvey Smith.
deathloop was absolutely a flop. announcing a sequel would just be ensuring their inevitable demise. they need to make something people actually want to play instead of low effort pandering garbage.
Dishonored 2 was basically a remake of the first game and its DLC. The exact same shit happens again, but now rats are replaced with bloodflies and there are some other superficial changes of that sort. I'm willing to bet Dishononred 3 will stick to that formula too, because it's safe.

Beat it for the first time recently. It's kind of shitty after halfway through. It's kind of tight and cohesive for the first two or three missions but after that it just feels like a graphically/aesthetically more fun game with more boring and inept map design.
I’m willing to forgive Dishonored 2 a lot of its sins because the gameplay is improved from the first and the art style, art direction, and setting are all better. Maybe it’s as a result of being British, but Dishonored 1 felt like I was creeping around some old London streets, not too interesting. The continental European designs of 2 were a lot more appealing to me.

I recommend everyone here play Prey. It's one of the most fun games I've ever played.
