Hogwarts legacy is not getting it, the story is way too trash. Starfield gets a good amount of points for just being a Bethesda game. FF gets a lot of points for being a ridiculously long running franchise but no way anything other than Tears of the kingdom wins. I just played through all of AC Nexus and 1 route of Last Raven as the fricking heaviest tank AC possible with the most powerful weapons I could fit on it. I had few problems until the final mission of my Last Raven route where I couldn't dodge the bombardment missiles.

Honestly that seems about appropriate if we're going on 5th gen rules. If you aren't boosting or if your generator is off, you turn extremely fast. Stop being moronic. People are saying the combat is influenced by Souls, and between the Hard Lock-On, huge telegraphs on enemy attacks, and ability to stagger enemies, you'd be a fool not see the effects that Souls had on the games design.
The games prioritize function over style. You can pick your colors and it'll probably allow you to make an emblem too, but there's no transmog options and you need to be mindful of weight, so for example it can be difficult or impossible to make an AC that has a chunky ass upper body and is decked out like rambo but has skinny chicken legs.
If you slap on tank legs and tons of armor, you will be extremely slow, but extremely hard to actually break. It actually serves its purpose extremely well in 1st gen (other than literally the last mission of AC1), all of gen 3/3.5, and it's fricking phenomenal (with a large amount of skill) in gen 5. It's only explicitly bad in 4th gen because of the extreme speed climb, and they're usually really bad in 2nd gen because most of the missions require a ton of vertical movement and tanks pretty much can't meet the requirements with their limited vertical climb and generators running out.
I will literally never recover from that feeling when I learned that that was actually the fricking lyrics. I thought it was in some other language and it was just so loaded with filters that it simply sounded like that.
This looks pretty much exactly how I imagined it in my head. Weightier than something like AC4, still highly mobile, souls-ier boss design. Looks pretty good to me.
What'd be really cool is if it got more and more mobile over the course of the game.
Honestly tho, Vaati turned me off AC VI now, it really does feels like Armored Souls (no, I'm not baiting, I'm just sad).
I thought having telegraphed enemy attacks might be better, but after playing AC4A and fearing for my life when going against White Glint and having to go back to the garage and think about my build again to try and face off against this very dangerous enemy that moves like a human because they aren't shackled to pre baked animations.

You could "cheese" all of 2's arena by doing strafe QB bursts to get behind the opponent. You could always stay behind enemy AC's if you weren't slow.

I can't tell if the camera is making the AC do quick turns like that or if they are doing it 4/5th gen style. I'm cool with the camera and lock on as long as your FCS effects lock on range and how fast it can keep up with you boosting around. My only major concern is if every stage is gonna be as empty as it is now and in4/4A. Sure 4A is my favorite game in the series but I hate how empty it all is especially since you have a lot of mobility and I don't think any of the giant bosses will be a threat if every stage and arena are that open. Overall it looks pretty alright, I just want to see a HUD and how fighting other AC's play out.
Pretty sure this is 4th/5th gen style. Kind of sucks because turn speed should be a stat. And having your FCS work as a limiter for your souls lock-on kind of defeats the purpose of having that in the first place so I just think those parts are out.

Honestly that seems about appropriate if we're going on 5th gen rules. If you aren't boosting or if your generator is off, you turn extremely fast. It's actually the core of how U-Turns work in 5th gen.

Color is up to you and has a LOT of options, everything else is a part that serves a real purpose.

The games prioritize function over style. You can pick your colors and it'll probably allow you to make an emblem too, but there's no transmog options and you need to be mindful of weight, so for example it can be difficult or impossible to make an AC that has a chunky ass upper body and is decked out like rambo but has skinny chicken legs.

If you slap on tank legs and tons of armor, you will be extremely slow, but extremely hard to actually break. It actually serves its purpose extremely well in 1st gen (other than literally the last mission of AC1), all of gen 3/3.5, and it's fricking phenomenal (with a large amount of skill) in gen 5. It's only explicitly bad in 4th gen because of the extreme speed climb, and they're usually really bad in 2nd gen because most of the missions require a ton of vertical movement and tanks pretty much can't meet the requirements with their limited vertical climb and generators running out.
The only part I'm not keen on is the estus equivalent

I can't tell if the camera is making the AC do quick turns like that or if they are doing it 4/5th gen style. I'm cool with the camera and lock on as long as your FCS effects lock on range and how fast it can keep up with you boosting around. My only major concern is if every stage is gonna be as empty as it is now and in4/4A. Sure 4A is my favorite game in the series but I hate how empty it all is especially since you have a lot of mobility and I don't think any of the giant bosses will be a threat if every stage and arena are that open. Overall it looks pretty alright, I just want to see a HUD and how fighting other AC's play out.
