Yawn. Elden ring was a 100+ hour filly fledged experience. Beat the game once and it was amazing.
Armored Core? 10hour game padded to 20+ hour Grindfest shit bosses that you have to grind to buy parts to beat and take no skill at all once you equip the right weapons everyone else is using because that's the only way to beat them without virgin no lifeing the game. Game is shit. AC7 comes out? Abysmal sales confirmed. Fool us once...
>Elden Ring >Fight almost every boss 2/3 times, trust us when we say it's an entirely different boss >Oh also these same bosses later become regular enemies, prease don't notice
At least Armored Core is honest about what it is, and I got over a hundred hours out of it.

This is literally Elden Ring you're describing.
>you have to grind to buy parts
There's literally zero need to grind in any point of the game, since the parts sell exactly for the price you bought them for, the frick you talking about.
To be honest the only grind I did in the game was when I did so many runs against Balteus. And no not progression runs, but reruns because I enjoyed the guy as a boss
I don't think that's definable as grind tho', since you did just to fight Balteus and not to farm materials or unlock something in-game.
I too did levels/bosses multiple times to try builds and such.

The only thing that would technically count as "grinding" is having to gather combat data, which sometimes involve you fighting certain enemies.
Nah frick that, you can say it's annoying trying to find them in some random corner but it's not some COLLECT COMBAT LOGS TO LEVEL UP. KILL 100 MTS 200 MTS 500 MTS TO LEVEL UP OUR TIER kinda deal.
You can beat every boss in the game quite easily with the default loadout + new shoulder weapons though. There's 0 need for grinding unless you're one of the shitters who played the game without knowing there's a hard lock lmao
I know you’re shitposting, but coming from someone who really loves the plot in Dark Souls I thought the plot in Elden Ring was very uninteresting and mostly carried by interesting character designs
Elden Ring's story really disappointed the hell out of me, you have weird alien monsters and outer gods and gravity magic and meteors and people with cutaneous horns and the dual entities thing and an ancient civilization and it feels like it should all fit together into a really cool interesting story but it just doesn't

Not really interested in a shitposter's opinion when he likely can't even name any AC besides For Answer.
just beat NG+, am I the only one that thought liberator of rubicon was kind of lackluster compared to fires of raven? >finally going toe to toe against the top ranked arena pilot to avenge chatty >the absolute power high of blowing up the interceptor fleet with infinite flight >followed up with a rival fight against a mecha anime protag complete with his mid season gundam upgrade >then fighting ibis on steroids atop a satellite laser cannon before 9/11ing the whole solar system, becoming a legendary monster
vs >backstab the people who just broke you out of prison, feels bad >team up with rusty, kinda cool >the rubiconians are all fighting back at your behest, whatever since we don't actually see it happening >kill the smart cleaner, again >kill balteus, again >lmao snail's death scream >rusty gets killed offscreen >kill walter, feels bad and doesn't feel as special since he's just a normal AC, not a boss weapon >ayre thanks you as the xylem falls to the ground, roll credits
You know, i was not convinced this game was great until the Ice Worm segment, then everything unravelled and it really blooms, chapters 4 and 5 and unironically the best parts I've played in a video game since forever. I loved it.
technically you dont need to play previous ace combat games to play 7 but you will get much more enjoyment if you play 4 and 5 (and to a lesser extent 0), i think that's what those anons meant by DS3 comparisons as the connections to previous games will enhance the meaning of many of the story beats
>chapter's 4 and 5 >not chapter 3 with that cutscene of the PCA going full glowie with on loudspeakers.
Chapter 3 is the high point of the game without a doubt.
The very few times they pull the POV into a directorial view instead of our behind the back view they kill it.
The camera panning up to see the fleet moving in was AAA stuff.
Yes the game starts pretty slow as a classical mercenary mech game, destroy this, gain money, buy new parts, repeat. It begins to change once you meet Ayre and Baltheus. Then it only goes crescendo until the pure kino finale(s). The story and the Ace Combat style missions were pleasant surprises for me too.
yep greatest game in a long time, the shit in this game you used to see more of like crazy flying cities, giant walkers, just all around cool giant scale scifi shit
slowly working my way through NG+, put heavy restrictions on not using builds and loadouts I used to beat the first playthrough. I think at NG++ I'll switch to whatever works to try and see it through before I desire to move on from this game.
So satisfying for fires ending, hope part 2 is even greater.
just beat NG+, am I the only one that thought liberator of rubicon was kind of lackluster compared to fires of raven? >finally going toe to toe against the top ranked arena pilot to avenge chatty >the absolute power high of blowing up the interceptor fleet with infinite flight >followed up with a rival fight against a mecha anime protag complete with his mid season gundam upgrade >then fighting ibis on steroids atop a satellite laser cannon before 9/11ing the whole solar system, becoming a legendary monster

They game definitely feels a bit unfinished, with that ending being the most obvious. At the same time, with the exception of Walt I found it to be the harder of the 2 NG routes.
NG++ will rock you though.
I found Liberation to be a much better ending than FoR. The fight with Frued didn't really do anything for me, beat him first try and besides cutting Snail off, he really isn't super interesting. Unlimited boost speed fight against rusty was cool but it boiled down to a standard fight though for me since we both just sunk to the roof of the Xylem while fighting. Fighting Ayre gave me some feels since I like Ayre, but the ending itself was just kinda numbing for me. It didn't really feel like I accomplished anything. If anything all I did was earase progress. I hate to sound corny but FoR is the anti-faustian end. The "I'm to scared of the future" end which just comes off as cowardice
>GRRM write half a script >he really thinks the lazy fat frick actually wrote the script
Be real here, he was just there for marketing. The script was probably written entirely by FS.
He definitely did the writing for the shard-bearers and their conflict, including Radagon,Godfrey and Marika. That stuff always felt too detailed compared to the souls trilogy. Stuff however were definitely omitted/changed by FROM to fit in a game of their style more, I'm not the biggest fan of the results but well it could be worse I guess.
two rfs win points and the frame itself is great but the paintjob needs work. like the other guy said, iphone vibes.... too clean, whats the eblem on the shoulder?
I've posted this general build before, but I decided to kit it out with some nice-looking thunderclouds and lightning decals to emphasize the whole "lasers and plasma" vibe.

Fires of Rubicon felt the best ending to me, I never got the appeal of Ayre mindjacking you and constantly pushing you to save the poor rubiconians or save her gas can family, so killing her felt so fricking good. And betraying fricking Carla/Chatty and Walter felt incredibly fricking stupid, considering that they're ultimately the ones that helped you get to where you are

You two would unironically commit planetary genocide because not doing it means betraying a handful of people?
You're not just killing a sentient alien species, you're killing everybody on Rubicon.
Who am i genociding? a bunch of dead rubiconians that are basically ghosts stuck in a massive tarpit?
Frick that, that's like crying that we should feed the flood in halo rather than eraidcate them. Go frick yourself you liberal coral hugging homosexual, i'd almost respect you if it was genuine but we both know you're just a loser who wants to follow your robo wife's voice in your head

This is disregarding the fact that Coral was exported out of Rubicon and people like 621 underwent surgery outside the solar system, and never set foot on its soil until the start of this game.
Anonymous
With rubicon gone it won't matter how much they exported for the augmentation program, considering ALL the corporations were hounding for it, there won't be enough for them to utilize in a meaningful capacity.
Anonymous
Anon, you missed the part where Coral asexually reproduces on a massive scale. Even just a small fragment is enough to restart the entire population given enough time. That's what happened after the Fires of Ibis. Any amount of this stuff can infinitesimally propagate.

I would be surprised to see anyone ACTUALLY gather coral and not dispose of it ASAP after having TWO solar wiping fires/nukes go off because of it. I doubt there is any coral actually left after we burned it, and good fricking riddance.
exactly the opposite, Gen 4 is the last gen to use coral
First 4 uses coral
7 is probably the first stable non coral one
And wouldn't this just mean that coral WAS actually disposed of and never used again since gen 4's the last augmented human variant to use it?
Anonymous
Coral augmentation is better than newer augmentations, but it's far more dangerous. O'Keefe for example has "Coral burn-in" on his brain and took later upgrades to try and cure it. 621 is noted as being effectively a mute lobotomite, he can only communicate through text. It's only outside his AC that Walter has any "conversations" with him, which probably involves pen and paper or computers. Sulla is one of a handful of hundreds of people who survived Gen 1.
Anonymous
Won't matter if it's better or not though, the whole point was that they did away with it past aug4 so they wouldn't have kept any reserves from their exports of the coral back when they were actively doing Aug4's.

Not a chance, corporations came running back to Rubicon the moment the original Raven leaked that Coral was back in droves, this was after the Fires of Ibis which proved how deadly Coral was. It's why the PCA are hunting your ass down more than any other AC pilot, you may as well be Ted Bundy for them thanks to the mistaken identity.
Anonymous
after the Ibis disaster there absolutely was an effort to stop using all coral technologies, but we don't actually know when exactly 621 got coral'd
maybe the reason why we have to steal a license on Rubicon is because the augmentation was illegally applied to him
8 months ago
Anonymous
Anon the reason 621 needed a license was because he was never officially permitted on Rubicon in the first place and Walter didn't want the PCA on his ass right away, go replay the intro
8 months ago
Anonymous
That's up for debate then, but I think it's just as simple as actually being verified in the Allmind Mercenary System and getting an in for the corporation jobs as was said in the beginning.

But we don't see them use it. at all. The corporations don't sell us any weaponry or equipment that utilizes coral, all of it is under the Reasearch Institue, and the corpos just sell and use regular ballistics, energy and explosives in all of their depicted AC's and MT's. They come back in order to TRY and exploit it, but again, with it being burned, there won't be a worry on that front. The only people using Coral are the drugged up honchos of the RLF and Walter/Ayre

No, Gen 1-4 is Coral Augmentation. Everything after does away with it. This is why 621, Iguazu, O'Keefe and a few others were part of AllMind's plan to assimilate humans and Coral together, only Gen 4s and below are capable of contact.
Why should I be pushed to care about any of these things? I got a job to do, I do it, simple as. This alien species seems to cause more harm than good anyways so I say good riddance.
I am so fricking unhappy I was in the middle of chapter 1 when the patch dropped. I killed Balteus first try but the b***h before him got me twice, I'm so fricking curious how was It before the 1.02
I never got to play it before the patch so I have just been steamrolling bosses maybe dying once before I see the gimick and murder the boss EX: street cleaner vs tetrapod. I REALLY WANT TO KNOOOWWW
The nerfs were extremely minor.
1) Baleteus rockets have 5% less tracking.
This attack was never gonna hit players unless they stood still charging big energy weapons or to shoot bazookas.
Balteus real filters were the point blank 3K damage cannon he does like backepedaling, the recharging shield forcing you to DPS race him and the flamer on phase 2.
2)4% less kinetic resistance and 7% less energey/explosion resistance to Sea Spider.
This is effectively a -6% total HP, but this boss was a huge sponge.
3) Ibis combos do less impact damage because they nearly instantly broke many builds in 2 hits, allowing for some insane 4-5 hit wave combos that took you from 12K AP to 2K AP in a blink, casung constant restart spam.
if they nerfed the rocket spam tracking, you didn't miss much. he really liked spamming his stupid fricking shotgun and rocket without warning when up close at launch, but im not sure if they changed that
as for c spider, i couldn't tell any difference since id beaten it second try on the first playthrough and first try on subsequent runs. people were malding because they forgot they can fly for most of it and avoid 95 percent of his attacks. if they nerfed ibis, i couldn't tell, just as bullshit at launch

Gonna say it: This is officially the greatest game ever made.and ever will be made.
KNEEL
it's not the best game ever made but it was very fun. did enjoy getting all the achievements, story, and settings, really reminded me of blame at times
Ah I see there is 2 on the leg. Honestly, I think of 621 as like a half-mummified thing, we see in the story trailer. Where the mech acts more like a tomb.
Yeah, that is about what I would expect. Especially if the third ending is supposed to be the "True" ending where we ascend from the mortal coil the only way to justify 621 doing that is if he lives as more of a brain and flesh
In the story trailer Walter wakes him up, likely from cryo sleep. We know he moves around, was capable of escaping the concentration camp and climbing an old AC on foot. We also see from his eyes between the missions, he's sitting near his mech or walking around the side passages, overhearing Walter's dialogues.
>We also see from his eyes between the missions
once you're on the Xylem you've got a view out of the side of it
I just like to imagine a half mummified dude in his wheelchair looking out over the edge, like a pensioner on the deck of a cruise ship
>overhearing Walter's dialogues.

You are still being hacked in. The game shows your visual feed pixelate when it happens. Ayre just uses red.
Every time you overhear another conversation you are getting that pixelation effect as the convo starts.
It is interesting that all those convos can be overheard in the same place though.
They're gunna make more AC games with this engine/assets, right? Feels like a waste not to. What is from even working on right now besides dlc
They've had AC model kits for years but the success of this game could give them some Bandai Namco tier funding if they play their cards right on the gunpla. Simpgays WILL buy Ayre's AC.

After finishing S ranking all the missions I can say with confidence that AC6 is the easiest Armored Core game I played. In For Answer I couldn't S rank Occupation of Arteria Carpals no matter what cheesy strategy I tried, but in AC6 no mission stand a chance against double zimms double needle combo. Also on my first playthrough even before looking anything up online I found gatlings and songbirds myself and not a single mission required me to change build or playstyle. While even in AC3 which is one of the easiest games of the series I had to switch my loadout several times. Also small enemies feel completely meaningless because of all the checkpoints and resupplies. Older games always had overpowered weapons that could trivialize some encounters but Sapla from AC4A only had 6 shots and CR-WA75MSP missile arms only had 8 missiles in Last Raven. I don't get why needle designed to shoot 4 times into the worm face had to have more than 10 shots of ammo total. Also checkpoints shouldn't replenish your ammo.
>In For Answer I couldn't S rank Occupation of Arteria Carpals no matter what cheesy strategy I tried, but in AC6 no mission stand a chance against double zimms double needle combo
That's a (you) problem. You cheesed AC6, yet somehow couldn't S-rank Carpals with the cheese railgun quad build that just OBd away and sniped the targets one by one, and then OBd away when they got too close?
Not a fan of mecha, not a fan of AC, but I still enjoyed it because it's a solid game with a solid gameplay. It reminded me of the days when games were just games, not a deep cinematic experiment with microtransactions and embedded stores. Any other major studio would make another session game out of AC6, a service for pumping out money, selling every bolt and gear for customization.
someone motivate me to buy this

only thing I can play is on is a Steam Deck or ps4
the ps4 and PS5 versions look pretty much the same, buy it anon! its a great game with tons of replay and the endgame of making your perfect mech along wih the perfect paintjob and livery is worth the game in itself, does anyone know if ps4 and ps5 decals and online are crossplay

For me, I'm gonna wait for this game's equivalent of Elden Ring's 1.4 update, or Dark Souls 1's 1.5 update, and then make a new save. Right now I'm waiting on Cyberpunk's expansion next week.
theyll get there, i would be absolutely shocked if linear rifle ricochets stay how it is, cant wait to make a mech based off this tiger boi in the bottom right, so much based ancient asian art that you can take inspiration from for kino mechs
because the balance of weapons is shit right now, tthey will fix it, trust the plan
I've just started chapter 4, so far the game is really fun but I honestly expected there to be more build variety.
what build were you hoping to make that you cant?
>Shoot robots get robot parts
You say this like it's a bad thing...
i know right? Kek its a game built for mech fans you build a kino creation take it out and kick ass and are rewarded with stuff to make your creation more kino, i cant think of a more perfect gameplay loop
she has openings during and after her attacks. use that to punish. High stagger weapons work well, so does the lance. You need to go to NG++ In this game to experience all the content, there are missions and items you don't unlock until your third playthrough, as well as a final ending.
>i dont play the entire gaame and unlock all the parts in a mech building game
thats pretty silly but i guess since youve got a gimpy pirate version with no pvp or decal sharing then who's gonna see your final builds anyway kek
But saying yes scores me the best mission in the game where I fight side by side with Rusty, the Rubiconians shouting support over the radio, and then I butt frick Snail while he screams and seethes like a b***h.
THAT TRAITOR V.IV OVEEEER LLLLLLLLLAND
THOSE DOLTS AT COMMAND AAANNND THE MOOOOOOUNTAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIINS
AND WORST OF ALL RUUUSTEEED PRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE
YOU ON THE OUTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE
God I just wish there was a section in there with unlimited EN though. Putting down Rusty made me feel like shit but being able to go ham with the movement made it kino as hell
>I paired them with the VP-60LCS laser cannons
I'm trying to mix it up because I'm afraid I'm gonna come across enemies that are specifically resistant to lasers.
No idea if that will actually happen, this is my first playthrough
i cant say this with confidence because ive only just beaten sea spider but with lasers you dont have much posture damage and im sure youll eventually run into an enemy that needs to be damaged with high posture weapons. of course you can beat anything with anything it all depends how good you are at the game
The Vvc-760 has 4 shots until they overheat, with 1-2 second delay between each. The trade-off is that they do sizable damage and have an area of effect that damages multiple targets in close proximity to each other. Pretty useful, as some enemies have a habit of sticking close to one another. They also do pretty good stagger damage, and mixed with the VP-60, you can melt any boss in seconds. This build is what helped me beat Michigan when I was struggling with my double zimm speed build.
Anonymous
>Vvc-760 paired with VP-60
So two types of slow-firing laser cannons.
And this is viable?
Anonymous
Yes, unironically. Not only is is viable, it made the game incredibly easy.
Fair enough. You may have to switch it up with some missles or some other high damage explosive weapons to beat some bosses but i was able to playthrough most of the game with just laser weapons
Am I the only one that felt kinda meh about the "true ending"? Seriously, people keep saying that Liberator is meh, but it was absolute kino in comparison. >Second and final showdown with Snail. >Team up with Rusty >Exploring the Xylem >Tragic fight with Walter
Meanwhile, the true ending gets: >Walter and Carla are killed off-screen >You don't even explore the Xylem >No Ibis fight >Penultimate mission is just destroying some devices in a small room >Final boss is some coping gaylord you curb-stomped 3 times already >His boss isn't even hard
You people lied to me. It was not climactic at all.
>>His boss isn't even hard
I honestly find his third phase pretty hard mostly due to some of his melee attacks obliterating 5k APs, some of them feel pretty hard to dodge as well. The rest of the bosses I feel like I've figured out for the most part.
His melee attacks can be a pain, but they aren't hard to avoid. It also helps that I made my build specifically to stagger and wiener block him every time he tried to melee me. And no, I didn't use zimms.
Am I the only one who thought his emblem was just a beetle with a red body when seeing the smaller version in-game? It's only when I saw it zoomed in outside of the game that I realized it's a beetle head being carried by ants. I confused the ants for the beetle's legs.
>doing S ranking >get to Freud >combo him into a assault burst >kill him so fast he can't even say anything after he kills Chatty
That was unexpected and satisfying.
There should be a way to just hire the remnants of Belius and Michigan instead of killing them all
Imagine the third ending having all these 50+ people at your side as you move out and Michigan shouting encouragement words
Cool idea.
Makes me wish we had a huge battle involving a hundred units in the battlefield similar to that mission in Zone of the Enders 2.
I just wish we had bigger battles in general involving multiple ACs, MTs and elites.
I don't see why so many anons say that. Wheels are easy to stagger with explosives, just stay in the air and they can't do shit. I'm more disappointed that I didn't get the occasions to properly escort the mining ship.
Personally the problem is not the wheels for me, it's the Coral MTs or LCs or whatever. Super fast, always spamming lasers, they kick like a mule for unlimited staggers leaving you open to be run over by the wheels
Had to bust out the flamethrower to melt them in 10 seconds each so I could deal with the wheels in peace
achievements prove nothing, anyone who puts in some time will have all of them.

You missile Black folk deserve 0 of my time. Why don't you go outside of your comfort passive b***hboy build and try it? Oh wait you won't because you're a b***h and that would require actually playing the game.
If you would you'd realise that ARs have great range and build their stagger quickly, then just shoot them from above once they are down and they die.
unironically double zimmer with a pilebunker on your back >90% of the time it's instant stagger >charged pilebunker does at least 70% of their AP
chances are, you'll kill ACs before they even get the chance to heal. I kill Freud before Snail even contacts him on the radio.
After A ranking the V.1 Freud mission a dozen times in a row (frick HC Black folk), I broke down and finally tried a zimmy/sneedle build. I refuse to cheat like that again. Pinwheel tier difficulty.
>WHAT is Allmind really?
Female Skynet >What about 'Kate Markson' ?
Independent mercenary
ALLMIND is an AI. Kate Markson is a persona ALLMIND created.
Merc support and R&D AI given the goal of creating methods to help pilots control ACs as if it were their own limbs.
thx kind anons.
so that means, Allmind was created to achieve the ultimate AC for all mercs, so it got so far as to come to a plan which involves symbioting the whole fricking universe? (or at least galaxy)
Damn.
>please stop asking questions
why? Isn't this the place for exactly such questions and discussions? This was the OG intent of Ganker but it got out of control. Just like the AI Allmind. 😉
I played the game and finished NG++ yesterday, so I have questions. It was weird and kind off anticlimatic that G5 became an AI and still be that homosexual he is? Even Allmind, an AI, got emotional when 'she' couldn't get rid of that Iguazu idiot. The ending after that was kino, tho.
Allmind is an AI developed to train mercs/analyze combat data that apparently achieves sentience and begins plotting how to position itself as integral to the next step in human evolution by somehow compiling all of human consciousness in its databanks and then merging with the coral or something? Not sure what Allmind thinks its actual role is since it seems like human consciousness will merge with the coral regardless of its intervention after you kill it in the alea iacta est ending. Perhaps it was just trying to become a singular truly omniscient entity, a literal "allmind."
You really don't know? They laid it on pretty thick with that >Allmind: Oh by the way Raven, independent mercenary Kate Marson thinks you rock and super cool and wanted to ask if you were free next Friday
Its it pretty hilarious hearing ALLMIND talk herself up as Kate Markson. She would always say it the same goofy way - "independent mercenary Kate Markson." Same voice too.
Kate Markson posting was infinitely superior to coral simping in early threads.
How is one man such a butthurt little b***h that he manages to take over an AI from the inside just to have one more fight against you?
His seethe was 100% human and ALLMIND had no way of dealing with the human element.
She adds this extra breath to her voice acting when pretending to be Kate, but she kinda gives up or forgets to keep doing it early on. It's kinda cute.

Kate uses more delayed pauses when speaking (trying to mimic Ayre). ALLMIND does a poor job roleplaying in both versions.

Prease tell me you already knew that independent mercenary Kate Markson was ALLMIND the whole time.
It just struck me that the Redguns have an animal theme in their emblems, while the Vespers have a biological/psychological theme. Except Rusty, their renegade, who has a muzzled wolf emblem to contrast 621's status as Walter's hound, but also Raven as a symbol of freedom, and possibly a reference to how wolves and corvids help each other in the wild.

No I knew, I just didn't run JP for the final route.
Does anyone else like purging their weapons during the "boss defeated" slow mo? I always throw away the rifle the camera is focused on and it always feels insanely kino.
I don't tend to purge but I usually run dual trigger and reload. It makes it so I can see the ammo drop and they usually do the "finished reloading" pose right at the end of slow mo.
>cant beat the ng++ final boss
so fricking mad im getting filtered, the entire game was fine until this bastard and his teleporting 3-pronged melee attacks.
If they have tech for interstellar travel, giant mechs and mind digitalization pretty sure they can put Ayre on a hot robo-body with a vibrating turbo-pussy with 9 modes
>Institute >Make crazy deity mechs that can fricking fly around and shoot hell beams and turn into swords >also make a big screaming idiot worm thing and a big spider
makes the first two we see kinda out of place
>also make a big screaming idiot worm thing and a big spider
These are 'guradian beasts' which... guard something, rather than fighting. Speaking of that, the Worm guards the entrance to institute city, while the Ibis guards the plant itself. Maybe the worm and spider were first gen creations and later they made thos godlike AC's, I don't know man.
Carla said it: Bunch of mad scientists.
The worm and spider are designated as IA units.
The alien looking mechs are IB units (Ibis). A comes before B so you can assume the worm and spider came before.
I finally defeated the Redguns, but my boy Rusty still betrayed me. The entire reason I killed Michigan and friends was so I wouldn't have to kill Rusty. I hate this.
Just accept it firegays, Fires of Raven will never be canon. That ending is a dead end, leaves literally no room for sequels.
With AC6's success FS certainly will make at least 1 more direct sequel of this timeline just like previous AC games. It's either Liberator or Alea ending will be deemed canon.
In other words, Ayre won.
Dogshit fromslop game with piss easy casual shooter sections interrupted by awful tedious spectacle bosses you need to autistically minmax your build before the mission and memorize patterns to win instead of actually relying on skill and in the field adaptation. Complete slop 2/10
i freeballed a heavy build with two shoulder cannons and plowed through every boss in a few trys. ive never played an AC game and this was the easiest Form soft game i ever played. I genuinely didnt learn a boss pattern after the half waypoint. The only attack i learned to avoid was ayre's swoop grab. I mimic tear'd Radagaon, Godskin Duo and melania in elden ring. I am in no way good at these games
Considering ALLMIND has knowledge of Institute mechs before they're unearthed in NG++ (Walter's AC, unmanned Institute AC that Ayre pilots), it's pretty safe to say that ALLMIND is a successor to The Institute?
Also, Walter has his Institute AC in NG++, despite not being captured/re-educated by Arquebus. This implies he has it stored away the whole time.
she was most likely the AI they were using. Her coral release plan was almost 1:1 to what we see the Institute developing and engineering toward on their own.
Coral was most likely making contact with them the same way it happened with 621, then they started working toward a coral release.
No proof she was the actual AI or if she just read everything they did and also agreed it was a good idea on their own.
I mean it apparently sold alright to well and they need to put those new assets to work somewhere. They can probably make up a new AC using these and like 2-3 years of time with some extra features, parts, and gameplay and BAM AC6A
You are still being hacked in. The game shows your visual feed pixelate when it happens. Ayre just uses red.
Every time you overhear another conversation you are getting that pixelation effect as the convo starts.
It is interesting that all those convos can be overheard in the same place though.
[...]
They've had AC model kits for years but the success of this game could give them some Bandai Namco tier funding if they play their cards right on the gunpla. Simpgays WILL buy Ayre's AC.
I hope we see more Armored Core in the future, this was a pleasant surprise for my first mecha game and I'd like to see what they do with it

I'm pretty sure the CEO outright said that he wanted to do more with the IP. So maybe DLC and then an AC7 in 5 years.
>OG Raven Prequel DLC in the style of Dishonoured DLC where your choices decide whether or not he survives the duel against 621 >And maybe sub-sequel like FA that improves upon the issues of base AC6
Honestly that would be all that I could wish for.
I was really hoping Kotobukiya was gonna get dumped for Bandai's in-house Gunpla manufacturing when it comes to the AC model kits. Koto fricking sucks dick. I'd unironically rather take pre-made diecast figures from Tamashii Nations over a Koto kit.
I never bought a single kit because while I love AC I heard nothing but negative things about their models. The overall scale being the biggest complaint. I heard their assembled models are only like 5 inches tall and very prone to the plastic breaking at the joints.
What are your opinions on the DECOCTION line. I thought they looked pretty good to scoop up if I could find one. The regular kits did look pretty cheap/breakable though
>AC6 figures
fricking hell I’ve never bought one before but I just might. Especially if it’s one of the lankier ACs like Rusty’s. Got back into model building cause of this game but the worse thing to deal with is the stickers

It isn't. The recharge after redlining is literally 3.5ish seconds (varies on your core) minimum. Meanwhile the San-Tai is <1 second.

If you think this is how the game is played you are out of the loop, missile boats have already been phased out by missile tetras that run their shit. Don't talk to me anymore lol your info on how the game is is itself outdated.

Missile boat literally just means an AC with all four armament slots filled with missiles. It doesn't mean any specific leg type. An RJ with four missile weapons is a missile boat. You're dumb.

>The recharge after redlining is literally 3.5ish seconds (varies on your core) minimum.
imagine outright lying to shill your chinkshit used for extremely specific builds
Very fast like a racer but in a giant mech that can go in all directions.
You build your mech not unlike you'd tune a car in a racing game garage then take it out on missions. Each trigger on the controller controls a different arm or shoulder weapon.
You zip around blowing shit up in a mech that can boost around at hundreds of kph blowing shit up and making buddies along the way.
Action game with mechs. No mech autism beyond the stat and part customization which changes how your AC handles.
Uhhhh to put it in a simple way, you have access to your four weapons all at once(Right/Left Hand and Right/Left Shoulder). You can fly, and your QuickBoost is your dodge but it has no i-frames and is affected by your build weight+generator. Also always have melee it's good for punishing a staggered enemy.
you move and shoot
Neat, I'll give it a try then. Probably won't go that deep into the mech designing though.
thats what i said, then i beat it 3 times rotation my build the whole time
>Probably won't go that deep into the mech designing though.
They all say that.
That was also my mentality. I still haven't really gone deep into customization because it takes a while, but swapping parts and making builds is no more complicated than any other RPG. You just may not be familiar with the terminology of the game (e.g. boosters, generators, ACS) because it doesn't use the typical fantasy lingo of trinket/ring/amulet.

Okay, dumb question, but what are the Coral truly? Are they people had their bodies vaporized during the Fires of Ibis and became red waves, or are they something more?
my personal theory is that it as a sort of fungal-like energy in nature but when the Fires of Ibis happened it evolved in a sense and all the humans caught in it had their minds integrated into the coral
Coral was already sentient before the fires. It's a collective of energy beings who exists as "waves", but certain waves like Seria and Ayre can mutate and manifest as individuals to humans exposed to Coral, be it if you huff it like drug or got augmented with it.
Coral is not people. Coral is alien life. Coral is also a swarm intelligence similar to a nascent hivemind. C-wave entities like Ayre or Seira are the next step up in coral sentience after sufficient coral density in a local space has been achieved, this isnthe "mutation" that RRI scientists refer to; and All Mind's plot in the true ending seems to imply that the further evolution of that would be a coral-wave entity taking control of the gestalt mass of coral and becoming the dominant mind—and from there, the merge, or synthesis, with humanity.
The mutation waves act as ushers for the coral release. They integrate with someone that isn't a waveform to influence them into setting up a coral release like a birth. RRI was handling the release as a legitimate "birth" like in bloodborne. The Ibis series could suck up coral and the HAL is all about discharging massive amounts of coral energy into 1 place. With the 2 suits they can control the "contractions" of the coral release to prevent a collapse and usher in the new black hole reality as they seemed fit.
>The mutation waves act as ushers for the coral release.
That is an unsubstantiated claim that firegays make all the time, and is plainly untrue. Were that not the case, then we would've seen a "coral release" in the LoR ending in addition to Alea, but we did not; and without ALLMIND's direct influence, Alea would've never happened. >The Ibis series could suck up coral and the HAL is all about discharging massive amounts of coral energy into 1 place.
This is also disingenuous. Ibis and HAL are weapon platforms designed around the usage of coral, the former an autonomous c-weapon and the latter a piloted prototype c-weapon. There is no purpose-built function to create coral wave entities or other mutations through their regular use and built-in functionality as you seem eager to imply; and in fact, were that the case the RRI would've logically destroyed them the same as they destroyed their own city and planet, alongside everything else. >With the 2 suits they can control the "contractions" of the coral release to prevent a collapse and usher in the new black hole reality as they seemed fit.
Now this, this is entirely headcanon and I have no idea why you're trying to spout it as fact.
I played the first game recently. I must say it has held up well. The ending was rather abrupt however. You’re obviously meant to replay it to get the true ending but I ain’t got time for that. Think I’ll play the third game next.
>is there any ending that's locked behind NG+ aside from the old king meme ending?
*
There are a measly 3 endings and few non-crossover missions.
Last Raven has 6 endings + the secret boss you get from clearing all the missions. You first 3 runs can no repeat missions. Each mission is very short however, but if it's your first time playing some of them will take you a long time and stretch out the game
>energy sword >doesn't scale with energy weapon stat from your generator >instead, it scales with your arm's melee stat
huh????????????
How does swining harder affect a literal weightless blade of light?
Because that would be stupid and allow you to build for two things at once.
If you're looking for logic in this game it seems like you've missed a few other glaring points of contention.
attack uses your melee stat
Melee energy weapon. At first I also had a shot briliant though that if I'll take melee oriented arms and energy weapon boosting generator and my energy melee weapons will become OP. But nope.
Yes. If you move a light wave it will produce more light compared to the wave that isn't being physcially moved around.
Light diffuses, so moving it's central wave is going to have it diffuse more.
People that crosspost on /misc/. Read all the Defang part, they do paint a picture of what china is like in this setting and it's on the nose to how they are irl so the memes write themselves. >internal combustion engines >all the dakka >shitty stats but overwhelms you in numbers
They do but BAWS is strictly "old gen" tech comparatively so Defang using it en masse is part of their ethos of being shitty but overwhelming you in numbers.
Defang has a ton of character because of it. The mission to take out Michigan is to take out Balam (defang's parent company) and they send a million MTs to swarm you in numbers. It's their gimmick.
Anons told me the nerfs weren't that big of a deal. But you can take a slow, like below mid-speed AC. And just strafe to the side without Quick Boosting. And you'll avoid 90+% of Balteus's missiles.
That's fricking bullshit. It's a complete joke of a fight now.
That's the optimal way to avoid missiles, though, you've never needed to QB. In fact, QBing is a common mistake that makes missiles track better to you.
You could do that pre nerf too people just sucked and panicked.
The nerfs are nothing. Move your rolodex to your next shitpost topic.
>You could do that pre nerf too
Not if your AC was too slow. Not while avoiding 90+% of the missiles.
You're underestimating the shitty kind of AC I am referencing.
But you could if your AC wasn't too slow. That is the sucking part I mentioned. If you can dodge all the attacks being fast enough you are being dumb not being fast enough.
I'm not underestimating anything anon, I just don't care. No one does, the nerfs weren't an issue and we all beat the game before the nerfs anyway because we aren't secondaries.
>not if your AC was too slow
Uh, sure? That still remains true. >You're underestimating the shitty kind of AC I am referencing
Post your AC if you're trying to make this point.

only in 2nd and 3rd gen and even then it only really mattered in a couple of them and was pretty much ignored in the rest
Tanks can only make kick contact on the front bumper its awful but it does do a shit ton of damage
I've been attempting to emulate Catafract movement patterns when I play this beast
Why? Just to LARP? It's not like you take less damage from the side like 'phract does.
Tanks are also completely moronic, the amount of AP and defences they have is crazy with little loss in mobility. In the old games they had poor turnspeed and didn't have so much more AP than mid/lightweights.

Nah I manually aim with that thing on and off it helps my brain when I'm going multi directional while moving
I think the NG+/++ plot was cool and interesting, but it felt spread too thin between two more playthroughs. I understand why they did it so you'd get the two normal endings first, but I wish the early game changes were more substantial.
Honestly if they just did more minor, in mission changes like Sulla's fight having a sneak attack sniper gank, it would've elevated it a lot more.
>Honestly if they just did more minor, in mission changes like Sulla's fight having a sneak attack sniper gank, it would've elevated it a lot more.
I feel the same way, yeah. The repetitive-ness did set in by NG++, more mixing up would've been appreciated. It could've also been a good way to add more dialogue lines and stuff like pic related if they wanted.

>20+ hour Grindfest
>Grindfest
are you referring there soulshit? do you even know what it means?
You can beat every boss in the game quite easily with the default loadout + new shoulder weapons though. There's 0 need for grinding unless you're one of the shitters who played the game without knowing there's a hard lock lmao
Only sold well because of piggybacking elden ring.
3/10 game. Shoot robots get robot parts that's all you do. Boring. No good plot.
They did a much better job with alien monsters in Bloodborne. I don't know why they failed this time.

You know, i was not convinced this game was great until the Ice Worm segment, then everything unravelled and it really blooms, chapters 4 and 5 and unironically the best parts I've played in a video game since forever. I loved it.
if you liked that part you should play ace combat 7 if you haven't
>See a thread where anons compare AC7 to DS3
I should probably play prior titles before playing it.
DS3 as in dark souls 3? I don't see the resemblance
Yeah, Some anons did say it had plenty of references to prior games. Maybe they were exaggerating a bit.
Ignore Ace Combat morons, nothing From resembles those games.
I've already had an interest in the series from before, I can emulate a title to see if I like it or not. There isn't much to lose.
Rusty is ripped straight out of Ace Combat
technically you dont need to play previous ace combat games to play 7 but you will get much more enjoyment if you play 4 and 5 (and to a lesser extent 0), i think that's what those anons meant by DS3 comparisons as the connections to previous games will enhance the meaning of many of the story beats
>chapter's 4 and 5
>not chapter 3 with that cutscene of the PCA going full glowie with on loudspeakers.
Chapter 3 is the high point of the game without a doubt.
The PCA arrival was so well done and really managed to set the scale of Rubicon better than anything else
The very few times they pull the POV into a directorial view instead of our behind the back view they kill it.
The camera panning up to see the fleet moving in was AAA stuff.
The Ice Worm part with the Divine Dragon from Sekiro in mind totally sold me on Yamamura, I can't wait to see what he does next

So satisfying for fires ending, hope part 2 is even greater.
>hope part 2 is even greater
bad news, buddy
just beat NG+, am I the only one that thought liberator of rubicon was kind of lackluster compared to fires of raven?
>finally going toe to toe against the top ranked arena pilot to avenge chatty
>the absolute power high of blowing up the interceptor fleet with infinite flight
>followed up with a rival fight against a mecha anime protag complete with his mid season gundam upgrade
>then fighting ibis on steroids atop a satellite laser cannon before 9/11ing the whole solar system, becoming a legendary monster
vs
>backstab the people who just broke you out of prison, feels bad
>team up with rusty, kinda cool
>the rubiconians are all fighting back at your behest, whatever since we don't actually see it happening
>kill the smart cleaner, again
>kill balteus, again
>lmao snail's death scream
>rusty gets killed offscreen
>kill walter, feels bad and doesn't feel as special since he's just a normal AC, not a boss weapon
>ayre thanks you as the xylem falls to the ground, roll credits
They game definitely feels a bit unfinished, with that ending being the most obvious. At the same time, with the exception of Walt I found it to be the harder of the 2 NG routes.
NG++ will rock you though.
Post your AC's
This is a threat
oh, I'm scary?
Mines the scariest
wheres the head come from?
Take the SPEED-pill.
Kino weapon choices but it looks like an Iphone.
two rfs win points and the frame itself is great but the paintjob needs work. like the other guy said, iphone vibes.... too clean, whats the eblem on the shoulder?
I call it the Anvil Crawler.
I've posted this general build before, but I decided to kit it out with some nice-looking thunderclouds and lightning decals to emphasize the whole "lasers and plasma" vibe.
i love the lightning streaks, really well done. can you post the cloud decal? i cant see them on the mech
The clouds are part of the lightning streak decal, but I made a version without. I have another set of clouds as well but I'm still working on it.
Sharecode for pic related is LG3A237ZGLL2.
Version without the streaks is QKKSVL0MEZ6W.
youre on pc right? damn shame for me as a PS5 player. really cool stuff
I call it TIE DIE
I'm gonna need a code
Here you go both the AC and decal codes.
thanks anon
Bless you anon
I unironically love it, god-damn that looks cool.
Ended up changing a few parts, but I kind of want to go back after looking at this shot.
I went for a modular approach where I pretend that I only have one AC that has different modes depending on the mission.
God that's so fricking chuuni its cool
I FRICKIN LOVE MISSILES AND ENERGY WEAPONS
Fires of Rubicon felt the best ending to me, I never got the appeal of Ayre mindjacking you and constantly pushing you to save the poor rubiconians or save her gas can family, so killing her felt so fricking good. And betraying fricking Carla/Chatty and Walter felt incredibly fricking stupid, considering that they're ultimately the ones that helped you get to where you are
>I never got the appeal of Ayre mindjacking you and constantly pushing you to save the poor rubiconians or save her gas can family, so killing her felt so fricking good. And betraying fricking Carla/Chatty and Walter felt incredibly fricking stupid, considering that they're ultimately the ones that helped you get to where you are
Fricking this
You two would unironically commit planetary genocide because not doing it means betraying a handful of people?
You're not just killing a sentient alien species, you're killing everybody on Rubicon.
Shut up Ayre go fuel my Tractor b***h
Yes
No but you see they're totally epic, based and redpilled for being callous morons.
Just do it for Rusty, he's a cool dude.
Nah frick that homie he tried to kill me
he was alright, but not nearly enough impact as carla or walter to not nuke the shit out of them.
>Who am i genociding? a bunch of dead rubiconians that are basically ghosts stuck in a massive tarpit?
Are you moronic? Did you miss the part where hundreds of thousands of people are still living on Rubicon? Who do you think makes up the RLF?
are they living right off the giant coral drill? because i dont think they are i feel like what we blew up was that giant undergound city where frick all people lived
>I didn't see them so they don't exist
>Text? What's that?
Bro it was a giant underground lost city meme I DONT THINK ANYONE WAS LIVING THERE homie. I FEEL LIKE THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT IS WE HAD TO BLOW UP THE SAND WORM AND GO UNDER GROUND TO EVEN GET TO THAT SHIT
i dont think YOU paid attention to the game homie.
What the frick are you even blabbering about? You're the one who made up moronic nonsense about them living in the abandoned underground city, not me. They live on the surface, you know, where the RLF fricking operates.
so i didnt genocide shit then thank you for agreeing
>I nuked the planet
>I didn't genocide anybody because they live on the surface where they're far more likely to be nuked to death by the explosion I just set off
?????????????????????????????????????????
i didnt nuke shit.
Carla rammed a ship into a giant space drill to burn away the coral and blew up and an underground city. only thing that died was whoever was in the coral, and i killed millions of RLF before that point anyway.
>I didn't nuke anything, I enabled the person with the metaphorical button to do it by killing everybody in her way
Man you'd be hilarious in a duo murder case.
>I didn't do shit, I just sold him the gun and broke into the victim's house and he followed me in
Yeah sure thing moron but its a video game where the alternative is the conscious eating planetary cancer slowly absorbs all life into a hivemind.
"nuking" the coral is the only possible way for the rubucionians to have any sort of autonomy
Bit hard to have autonomy when you killed everybody and the planet is described as very dead and very barren by the announcer two seconds after you blow up the Coral plant.
>Carla rammed a ship into a giant space drill to burn away the coral and blew up and an underground city.
Anon, you literally scorched the surface of the planet and killed everybody. The announce literally called you a monster who killed a planet.
>Anon, you literally scorched the surface of the planet and killed everybody. The announce literally called you a monster who killed a planet.
nta but didn't raven burn the whole system? As the Fires of Ibis did?
yep, actually moronic.
What do you think the words
>"When the storm of fire finally faded, only the ashes of civilization remained."
meant? They go on by calling Rubicon a "dead planet". What I mean is, you're literally coping, you totally planetcided that shit bro, and you don't even have the balls to say it was a necessary loss for security, to protect against coral collapse that Overseer was trying to prevent. There is something wrong with your brain, man
bro i think you might actually be moronic.
>Who do you think makes up the RLF?
Uh... y-yeah..... the rubiconians that I want wiped out?
Good to know you'd support ~~**~~ over your people, anon. Very based and redpilled to support corporate israelites over your home.
>Support corporate israelites
>Support (())
>after nuking both of them off the place of the earth
>Home
>Home
>Home
Holy fricking moron
>Corporations totally won't go back to Rubicon to harvest more Coral
>What do you mean it came back after the first time the solar system nuked itself? No no, I definitely killed it this time
>go back to rubicon
anon I......
>What do you mean it came back after the first time the solar system nuked itself? No no, I definitely killed it this time
>What do you mean it came back after the first time the solar system nuked itself? No no, I definitely killed it this time
>What do you mean it came back after the first time the solar system nuked itself? No no, I definitely killed it this time
>Rubicon was to be abandoned a dead planet forever
>but they'll totally go back to scavenge the coral that I swear it will come back because it happened once before
bro?
>What do you mean it came back after the first time the solar system nuked itself? No no, I definitely killed it this time
This is disregarding the fact that Coral was exported out of Rubicon and people like 621 underwent surgery outside the solar system, and never set foot on its soil until the start of this game.
With rubicon gone it won't matter how much they exported for the augmentation program, considering ALL the corporations were hounding for it, there won't be enough for them to utilize in a meaningful capacity.
And wouldn't this just mean that coral WAS actually disposed of and never used again since gen 4's the last augmented human variant to use it?
Coral augmentation is better than newer augmentations, but it's far more dangerous. O'Keefe for example has "Coral burn-in" on his brain and took later upgrades to try and cure it. 621 is noted as being effectively a mute lobotomite, he can only communicate through text. It's only outside his AC that Walter has any "conversations" with him, which probably involves pen and paper or computers. Sulla is one of a handful of hundreds of people who survived Gen 1.
It's why the PCA are hunting your ass down more than any other AC pilot, you may as well be Ted Bundy for them thanks to the mistaken identity.
after the Ibis disaster there absolutely was an effort to stop using all coral technologies, but we don't actually know when exactly 621 got coral'd
maybe the reason why we have to steal a license on Rubicon is because the augmentation was illegally applied to him
Anon the reason 621 needed a license was because he was never officially permitted on Rubicon in the first place and Walter didn't want the PCA on his ass right away, go replay the intro
>Coral was exported out of Rubicon and people like 621 underwent surgery outside the solar system
Isn't Gen 7 augmentation the first one that uses coral? 621 is Gen 4.
exactly the opposite, Gen 4 is the last gen to use coral
First 4 uses coral
7 is probably the first stable non coral one
No, Gen 1-4 is Coral Augmentation. Everything after does away with it. This is why 621, Iguazu, O'Keefe and a few others were part of AllMind's plan to assimilate humans and Coral together, only Gen 4s and below are capable of contact.
Why should I be pushed to care about any of these things? I got a job to do, I do it, simple as. This alien species seems to cause more harm than good anyways so I say good riddance.
>kills greedy corpos, PCA fricks and lost rubiconians
absolutely yes.
i am become the deathcopter
deathcopters are hilariously fun for PVP
>right arm gatling gun
>left arm stun needle pistol
>right shoulder triple laser beam
>left shoulder earshot
>my opponent's face when I just float in the air, with 12k AP, forcing staggers and punishing them with my fully charged triple laser
>double zimmer
I like the weird face in the chest.
>double zim
>double laser missiles
>no expansion
Mech looks cool tho
it's nothing special
i just tried to make something Another Age-y
cheesed to meet you
I cannot express to you how much fun it is to go through the game like this.
NOW
I'M
SCARY
Fresh off the drawing board
I really like the game but it's waaaayy too difficult, I used the ez mod on Nexus after struggling after 20 hours play time. Forgive me Ganker
You did not beat the game
You didn't just cheat the game, you cheated yourself.
Baltheu's nerf is so minor that I dont even need to use QB to avoid a single missle from his most defining attack.
None of the nerfs are that noticeable, especially in Ng+ where you just steamroll everything with OP weapons
>I killed Balteus first try
>post patch
you didnt beat the game
if they nerfed the rocket spam tracking, you didn't miss much. he really liked spamming his stupid fricking shotgun and rocket without warning when up close at launch, but im not sure if they changed that
as for c spider, i couldn't tell any difference since id beaten it second try on the first playthrough and first try on subsequent runs. people were malding because they forgot they can fly for most of it and avoid 95 percent of his attacks. if they nerfed ibis, i couldn't tell, just as bullshit at launch
it's not the best game ever made but it was very fun. did enjoy getting all the achievements, story, and settings, really reminded me of blame at times
its pretty good, but its not GOAT
Halfway through NG+
Coldcall sounds like he's scolding his lil bro's bully, I kinda feel bad for him
>You bullied the poor fella too hard
This actually made me laugh. Iguazu is a brat.
the iguazu bully arc is even bigger in NG++
You should.
Honestly I think I enjoyed AC VI more than Elden Ring. And I fricking loved Elden Ring.
Whose far left and 2 on the right?
Tulpa GF on the far right?
Chatty and 621
Ah I see there is 2 on the leg. Honestly, I think of 621 as like a half-mummified thing, we see in the story trailer. Where the mech acts more like a tomb.
In the garage menu, you’re watching via cameras. Look at the bottom left corner. It even tells you the camera number.
>We also see from his eyes between the missions
once you're on the Xylem you've got a view out of the side of it
I just like to imagine a half mummified dude in his wheelchair looking out over the edge, like a pensioner on the deck of a cruise ship
>overhearing Walter's dialogues.
Ayre is hacking you in intentionally. Screen dims when she hacks you into someone else, turns red when she contacts you directly.
you hear those comms before you get access to Ayre
>know your place, you meager dog sitter
You are still being hacked in. The game shows your visual feed pixelate when it happens. Ayre just uses red.
Every time you overhear another conversation you are getting that pixelation effect as the convo starts.
It is interesting that all those convos can be overheard in the same place though.
They've had AC model kits for years but the success of this game could give them some Bandai Namco tier funding if they play their cards right on the gunpla. Simpgays WILL buy Ayre's AC.
I'd buy a Mad Stomp kit ngl
I would buy the frick out of Steel Haze, ngl
>Steel haze is limited edition steel edition
>$900 for a 6 inch figure I build
>"looks like you flew out of reach, buddy"
The answer is no.
621 is also a 6ft + chad
You cheesed AC6, yet somehow couldn't S-rank Carpals with the cheese railgun quad build that just OBd away and sniped the targets one by one, and then OBd away when they got too close?
last raven is significantly harder yeah
i've seen this exact pasta in like 30 threads but i still reply to it cuz its true
Not a fan of mecha, not a fan of AC, but I still enjoyed it because it's a solid game with a solid gameplay. It reminded me of the days when games were just games, not a deep cinematic experiment with microtransactions and embedded stores. Any other major studio would make another session game out of AC6, a service for pumping out money, selling every bolt and gear for customization.
someone motivate me to buy this
I love Mecha and was excited for this game but I'm too depressed to make myself buy it and play it
only thing I can play is on is a Steam Deck or ps4
the ps4 and PS5 versions look pretty much the same, buy it anon! its a great game with tons of replay and the endgame of making your perfect mech along wih the perfect paintjob and livery is worth the game in itself, does anyone know if ps4 and ps5 decals and online are crossplay
what about on steam deck?
wouldn't it be better on that than PS4 even if I'm playing docked?
i heard on a review that it plays alright on a SteamDeck but the framerate slowdown is noticeable sometimes, plays butter smooth on a ps4 pretty much
butter smooth what? 30fps?
steam deck slows down from what to what?
this doesn't tell me anything anon
watch footage of SteamDeck performance
idk theyre both playable obviously but for a game this fast id go ps4 because its not dropping into the 20s ever like it will occasionally on the deck
the Steam Deck is just as powerful as a ps4
look at footage of both and tell me the frames arent more solid on ps4
isn't the PS4 locked at 30fps?
Most of my experience with the Deck with 6 is just Slowdowns with certain sections like when the PCA first show up or ALLMIND/Iguazu other then that it's been smooth for me
I STARGAAAZEEE NOOOWWW
I did a NG+ but I burnt Rubucon again
I think I'll burn it a 3rd time
>I think I'll burn it a 3rd time
yea hes literally pixy
pirate it then
youre wasting your time by not getting the other ending so you can go into the final route but i respect that
>Finally S-ranked missions to finish all steam achievements
>pvp is dead in my region
Guess it's time to end it all
...or you can wait until the hypothetical Prequel DLC, that may or may not even happen, about OG Raven.
For me, I'm gonna wait for this game's equivalent of Elden Ring's 1.4 update, or Dark Souls 1's 1.5 update, and then make a new save. Right now I'm waiting on Cyberpunk's expansion next week.
The 2077 expansion does look interesting enough to return despite the price
Time to move
Areqbus = Reddit
Balam = Ganker
Remove ricochet and implement better weapon balance, then I will agree.
theyll get there, i would be absolutely shocked if linear rifle ricochets stay how it is, cant wait to make a mech based off this tiger boi in the bottom right, so much based ancient asian art that you can take inspiration from for kino mechs
Why the frick are assault rifles ricocheting at mid range
because the balance of weapons is shit right now, tthey will fix it, trust the plan
what build were you hoping to make that you cant?
i know right? Kek its a game built for mech fans you build a kino creation take it out and kick ass and are rewarded with stuff to make your creation more kino, i cant think of a more perfect gameplay loop
Ibis is pretty much the end of the game right? I'm about to give up on this
ibis is nowhere near the end of the game anon wtf are you on about, youve still got two playthroughs to go
i don't do NG+. I can't get past Ibis and I'm stuck with pre-nerf pirated version
Come on bro just learn to dodge and punish. Sure it takes a while but it's totally doable
>i don't do NG+
pleb
she has openings during and after her attacks. use that to punish.
Close, but you still need to do the game 2 more times after that.
remember anons
say NO to schizo pussy
But she's real to me anon, our love is real
But saying yes scores me the best mission in the game where I fight side by side with Rusty, the Rubiconians shouting support over the radio, and then I butt frick Snail while he screams and seethes like a b***h.
THAT TRAITOR V.IV
OVEEEER LLLLLLLLLAND
THOSE DOLTS AT COMMAND
AAANNND THE MOOOOOOUNTAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIINS
AND WORST OF ALL
RUUUSTEEED PRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE
YOU
ON THE OUTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE
why are millenials so cringe?
Zoomers don't recognise anime mecha kino, it's fine, you were born with shit taste.
God I just wish there was a section in there with unlimited EN though. Putting down Rusty made me feel like shit but being able to go ham with the movement made it kino as hell
HUH?!
Sorry, I can't hear over the sound of Rusted Pride and Rusty obliterating Cleaner by my side!
I say NO to saying NO
Gonna say it: This is officially the cringiest fromdrone ever born.and ever will be born
What are some good shoulder weapons to complement my dual pistol lasers?
I paired them with the VP-60LCS laser cannons or the VE-60SNA stun needles through all my playthroughs
>I paired them with the VP-60LCS laser cannons
I'm trying to mix it up because I'm afraid I'm gonna come across enemies that are specifically resistant to lasers.
No idea if that will actually happen, this is my first playthrough
i cant say this with confidence because ive only just beaten sea spider but with lasers you dont have much posture damage and im sure youll eventually run into an enemy that needs to be damaged with high posture weapons. of course you can beat anything with anything it all depends how good you are at the game
>but with lasers you dont have much posture damage
lmao even
What's the rate of fire on these?
The Vvc-760 has 4 shots until they overheat, with 1-2 second delay between each. The trade-off is that they do sizable damage and have an area of effect that damages multiple targets in close proximity to each other. Pretty useful, as some enemies have a habit of sticking close to one another. They also do pretty good stagger damage, and mixed with the VP-60, you can melt any boss in seconds. This build is what helped me beat Michigan when I was struggling with my double zimm speed build.
>Vvc-760 paired with VP-60
So two types of slow-firing laser cannons.
And this is viable?
Yes, unironically. Not only is is viable, it made the game incredibly easy.
Fair enough. You may have to switch it up with some missles or some other high damage explosive weapons to beat some bosses but i was able to playthrough most of the game with just laser weapons
Am I the only one that felt kinda meh about the "true ending"? Seriously, people keep saying that Liberator is meh, but it was absolute kino in comparison.
>Second and final showdown with Snail.
>Team up with Rusty
>Exploring the Xylem
>Tragic fight with Walter
Meanwhile, the true ending gets:
>Walter and Carla are killed off-screen
>You don't even explore the Xylem
>No Ibis fight
>Penultimate mission is just destroying some devices in a small room
>Final boss is some coping gaylord you curb-stomped 3 times already
>His boss isn't even hard
You people lied to me. It was not climactic at all.
>>His boss isn't even hard
I honestly find his third phase pretty hard mostly due to some of his melee attacks obliterating 5k APs, some of them feel pretty hard to dodge as well. The rest of the bosses I feel like I've figured out for the most part.
His melee attacks can be a pain, but they aren't hard to avoid. It also helps that I made my build specifically to stagger and wiener block him every time he tried to melee me. And no, I didn't use zimms.
Which other ACs should I play if I liked 6? I'd only played 1 before it and it might as well be a different genre.
I've just started chapter 4, so far the game is really fun but I honestly expected there to be more build variety.
>Dual Sneedles
>Dual Zimmies
Yep, it's gaming time.
>*Sends you a hatemail*
Am I the only one who thought his emblem was just a beetle with a red body when seeing the smaller version in-game? It's only when I saw it zoomed in outside of the game that I realized it's a beetle head being carried by ants. I confused the ants for the beetle's legs.
same
I assume that was intentional design.
>Volta's emblem is a beetle
>Iguazu's emblem got a dead beetle head
>Volta dies at the Wall because of Iguazu
Truly cinematic
Did you play any of the older ones?
thats a big boy you get there, buddy
>doing S ranking
>get to Freud
>combo him into a assault burst
>kill him so fast he can't even say anything after he kills Chatty
That was unexpected and satisfying.
There should be a way to just hire the remnants of Belius and Michigan instead of killing them all
Imagine the third ending having all these 50+ people at your side as you move out and Michigan shouting encouragement words
I wish we could recruit characters like Michigan and Matterlink to our cause. I felt sorry for the latter in particular.
Cool idea.
Makes me wish we had a huge battle involving a hundred units in the battlefield similar to that mission in Zone of the Enders 2.
I just wish we had bigger battles in general involving multiple ACs, MTs and elites.
obviously the NG Raven fight was cool but i was really hoping for a mission where you hold out with your own big MT squad
What's the best build for S-ranking, bros? I want the cheesiest S-rank build. I'm about done with this shit
zimzam + 2 sneedle is the frick off build in this game
There's basically no fullproof build.
You will basically not get S rank for Escort the Mining Ship unless you equip all missiles for instance.
>Escort the Mining Ship
I hate that mission so much it's unreal.
I don't see why so many anons say that. Wheels are easy to stagger with explosives, just stay in the air and they can't do shit. I'm more disappointed that I didn't get the occasions to properly escort the mining ship.
This, wheels never gave me problems, just wait for them to charge at you and hit them with a songbird
I got the S rank with dual rifles and melee, lmao get good missile shitter.
Prove it.
Cope, I don't do missile only builds, not even in pvp because that's for homosexuals who don't even want to play the game, you are worst than zimmers
achievements prove nothing, anyone who puts in some time will have all of them.

I'm not even the op but ok
all you need is a shotgun and a pilebunker
unironically double zimmer with a pilebunker on your back
>90% of the time it's instant stagger
>charged pilebunker does at least 70% of their AP
chances are, you'll kill ACs before they even get the chance to heal. I kill Freud before Snail even contacts him on the radio.
if you didn't play with Japanese voice actors?
you didn't beat the game
I don't think I can kill Walter
It's a mercy killing at that point in the gMe
Game felt a bit shallow to me, and the mech customization was a bit lack luster. Still a good game, but not phenomenal.
me using my anti-cold nasal spray this morning because I felt a tickle in my throat
apparently Ayre has unique dialogue if you betray Swinburne after accepting his offer
she does
>"... Raven."
>"Did Walter teach you to do that?"
I beat NG+ and haven't touched it in a week.
I do intent to finish it but don't know when.
is this game worth playing if I can only play it on a deck?
Is the preorder bonus worth it? I can still get a physical edition with the code.
it's literally just Iguazu's parts that you unlock earlier
They're identical?
FROM doesn't do edition-locked content, only "early unlocks"
He can probably breed her in ending 3

Is there a reliable way to hit charged pike bunker?
You can charge the pile bunker?
you get better at it with experience
just boost up close, never be above or below
just hit it bro
damn
after reading the dialogue of the characters so many times i can safely say the story is kino as frick
It's basically a more mature take on Eureka Seven with some Gundam 00 and Dune elements
Fromsoft has an absolutely impeccable taste
Armored Core VI is absolutely the best Mecha game ever made. Frick anyone who says otherwise.
most of the flak is from salty BT morons who've had to deal with some utter dogshit games for the last decade, so they're just lashing out
AC6 and Into the Breach is probably the best the genre has to offer.
The fattest biped legs are the coolest ones
>S ranking Snail Balteus
I dont think I can do it bros
just sneedle and zimmie
After A ranking the V.1 Freud mission a dozen times in a row (frick HC Black folk), I broke down and finally tried a zimmy/sneedle build. I refuse to cheat like that again. Pinwheel tier difficulty.
well, suffer then.
Bring one bubble gun and a whole bunch of shit with great direct damage modifiers.
I did double zimmies, needle launcher from the ice worm and earshot, just bumrush him anon, aggro is key to a lot of these S ranks
There's something incredibly hilarious about watching ALLMIND lose her shit when she realized that she can't control Iguazu.
WHAT is Allmind really? An AI or some consciousness who merged? I mean before the final fight. What about 'Kate Markson' ?
It's just an IA programmed to take care of ALL mercenaries, by all means necessary.
thx kind anons.
so that means, Allmind was created to achieve the ultimate AC for all mercs, so it got so far as to come to a plan which involves symbioting the whole fricking universe? (or at least galaxy)
Damn.
>Ask AI to do a job
>Complain when it's done.
Damn humans, they're never satisfied I swear.
What it was "created for" and what it is trying to currently achieve may not be the same.
>WHAT is Allmind really?
Female Skynet
>What about 'Kate Markson' ?
Independent mercenary
ALLMIND is an AI. Kate Markson is a persona ALLMIND created.
Merc support and R&D AI given the goal of creating methods to help pilots control ACs as if it were their own limbs.
ALLMIND exists for all mercenaries
Independent mercenary Kate Markson is a very real and normal person just like you please stop asking questions
>please stop asking questions
They laid it on pretty thick with that
>Allmind: Oh by the way Raven, independent mercenary Kate Marson thinks you rock and super cool and wanted to ask if you were free next Friday
The Japanese dub is way more comedic in the deceit, the COMs you get from Kate is just completely robotic allmind.
Its it pretty hilarious hearing ALLMIND talk herself up as Kate Markson. She would always say it the same goofy way - "independent mercenary Kate Markson." Same voice too.
Kate Markson posting was infinitely superior to coral simping in early threads.
His seethe was 100% human and ALLMIND had no way of dealing with the human element.
Oh really what's the difference? Does she actually sound wackier/more clownish human like or something
She adds this extra breath to her voice acting when pretending to be Kate, but she kinda gives up or forgets to keep doing it early on. It's kinda cute.
AIbros.....
Prease tell me you already knew that independent mercenary Kate Markson was ALLMIND the whole time.
Rusty gets 2 emblems 🙂
No I knew, I just didn't run JP for the final route.
Kate uses more delayed pauses when speaking (trying to mimic Ayre). ALLMIND does a poor job roleplaying in both versions.
Kate Markson exists for all mercenaries
Some of those boss is too fast for my eyes to keep up so is 7/10 for me
at least you beat it?
Yeah after 30 try
go to bed Gohan, your dad's fighting Vegeta.
Remember anon, when push comes to shove nothing in this game survived a tank with Sneedles and Gatling Guns
concentrate only on him. Ignore the flying spiders, except their attacks. Evade them, stick to the main boss and destroy him.
its pretty fricking good. i never touched an armored core game before but it sucks knowing that the rest of the series is PS2 jank basically
What's the point of Ayre if you can't frick her?
If they have tech for interstellar travel, giant mechs and mind digitalization pretty sure they can put Ayre on a hot robo-body with a vibrating turbo-pussy with 9 modes
The best wank sessions are the ones fueled by your imagination and/or auditory stimuli.

>Make crazy deity mechs that can fricking fly around and shoot hell beams and turn into swords
>also make a big screaming idiot worm thing and a big spider
makes the first two we see kinda out of place
>also make a big screaming idiot worm thing and a big spider
These are 'guradian beasts' which... guard something, rather than fighting. Speaking of that, the Worm guards the entrance to institute city, while the Ibis guards the plant itself. Maybe the worm and spider were first gen creations and later they made thos godlike AC's, I don't know man.
Carla said it: Bunch of mad scientists.
The worm and spider are designated as IA units.
The alien looking mechs are IB units (Ibis). A comes before B so you can assume the worm and spider came before.
>kabephract helianthus cleaner and a LC
You need to add a few shield LC on the back, Juggernaut's weak spot is wide open
Cleaner and Helianthus in a confined space would be kino though
I CAN'T HIT IT
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Meme bunker isn't good on ACs that recover fast
guard break them with a kick or assault armor and you'll get a charged bunker most of the time
Pilebunker chad with the actual correct boosters for the build?!
Contact Arquebus this is unacceptable!
You can't hit charged pike with a kick or assault armor
They always recover before that
Kicking does make AI more behaved tho

most other AC games are a lot more in depth / mechanically complex
AC6 isn't bad at all
Is KRSV multi energy rifle good?
Just accept it firegays, Fires of Raven will never be canon. That ending is a dead end, leaves literally no room for sequels.
With AC6's success FS certainly will make at least 1 more direct sequel of this timeline just like previous AC games. It's either Liberator or Alea ending will be deemed canon.
In other words, Ayre won.
>small amount of coral survived
>50 years pass again
there's your sequel bro
>Fires of Raven will never be canon. That ending is a dead end
Yeah, the real ending is the one you get at NG++
Dogshit fromslop game with piss easy casual shooter sections interrupted by awful tedious spectacle bosses you need to autistically minmax your build before the mission and memorize patterns to win instead of actually relying on skill and in the field adaptation. Complete slop 2/10
>slo-
And disregarded.
I’m right fromtrannies. Your autistic pattern recognition will never be actual skill.
Do you even play video games? What game doesn't require pattern recognition? Are you moronic?
i freeballed a heavy build with two shoulder cannons and plowed through every boss in a few trys. ive never played an AC game and this was the easiest Form soft game i ever played. I genuinely didnt learn a boss pattern after the half waypoint. The only attack i learned to avoid was ayre's swoop grab. I mimic tear'd Radagaon, Godskin Duo and melania in elden ring. I am in no way good at these games
You're actually a shitter
>controonyrian.
Man I'm hungry for some Sloppy Joes now, thanks catnon!

So Carla is a 70 year old gilf right?
Carla is carrying the will of the assistant, she's not the one from the logs. Explains it in the log hunts.
my favorite youtubers didnt like this game so I can't enjoy it now...
I can't name a single youtuber that played the game that didn't like it.
How is one man such a butthurt little b***h that he manages to take over an AI from the inside just to have one more fight against you?
>lose a mission
Yep, time to switch back to double zimmies
Same but it’s me getting an A
They're gunna make more AC games with this engine/assets, right? Feels like a waste not to. What is from even working on right now besides dlc
I hope we see more Armored Core in the future, this was a pleasant surprise for my first mecha game and I'd like to see what they do with it
I mean it apparently sold alright to well and they need to put those new assets to work somewhere. They can probably make up a new AC using these and like 2-3 years of time with some extra features, parts, and gameplay and BAM AC6A
I'm pretty sure the CEO outright said that he wanted to do more with the IP. So maybe DLC and then an AC7 in 5 years.
>So maybe DLC and then an AC7 in 5 years.
>OG Raven Prequel DLC in the style of Dishonoured DLC where your choices decide whether or not he survives the duel against 621
>And maybe sub-sequel like FA that improves upon the issues of base AC6
Honestly that would be all that I could wish for.
REMINDER BANDAI TAMASHII NATIONS IS MAKING AC6 FIGURES
I figured the publishing deal with namco bandai would leave Koto in the dirt for the bandai bump.
>FIGURES
BOOO
GIVE ME MODEL KITS
>AC6 figures
fricking hell I’ve never bought one before but I just might. Especially if it’s one of the lankier ACs like Rusty’s. Got back into model building cause of this game but the worse thing to deal with is the stickers

Dafeng-chan would lock you in and turn the generator to full load.
H-hot.....?
She calls it the sweet and spicy.
>EN management
oh you aren't playing the game correctly. Go back to what you were doing.
I ran defang weapons most game. Frick their comically shitty generators though. FROM managed to give the faceless bugmen of china a perfect feeling in this game.
>Frick their comically shitty generators though
Their generators are the best in the game though. San-Tai has the best overall stats of any generator, especially if you go so lightweight that you can slip it in no problem.
Big no they are dogshit. I'm glad you find a use for them.
Once you unlock the heavy coral generator there is literally no reason to not use it.
Glorious.
>Once you unlock the heavy coral generator there is literally no reason to not use it.
Literally a shitter generator for bads who can't into EN management.
>Only 20 more EN than the San-Tai
>Terrible recharge, worst in the game
>Terrible redline recharge, worst in the game
>Uh... but it's light I guess
San-Tai has the third highest recharge, third fastest redline recharge, and the second highest total EN capacity, only 20 behind the biggest Coral generator.
>Terrible redline recharge, worst in the game
this is just a lie
It isn't. The recharge after redlining is literally 3.5ish seconds (varies on your core) minimum. Meanwhile the San-Tai is <1 second.
You're not playing the game correctly. The only build the Coral gen is good in is missile boats that AB into the air.
>The only build the Coral gen is good in is missile boats that AB into the air.
If you think this is how the game is played you are out of the loop, missile boats have already been phased out by missile tetras that run their shit. Don't talk to me anymore lol your info on how the game is is itself outdated.
Your ass is trying to shill defang generators lol. Tell me about your laser pistol build kek.
>missile boats have already been phased out by missile tetras that run their shit
Missile boat literally just means an AC with all four armament slots filled with missiles. It doesn't mean any specific leg type. An RJ with four missile weapons is a missile boat. You're dumb.
>missile boats have already been phased out by missile tetras that run their shit
you just repeated yourself, i don't understand
>The recharge after redlining is literally 3.5ish seconds (varies on your core) minimum.
imagine outright lying to shill your chinkshit used for extremely specific builds
Commercial in japanese instead of chinese
ONE JOB.
Never played an AC game before, how does it play?
No real way to describe it tbh. Can't think of a single game that plays like this. Not even older AC games. It's fun though.
Is it a mech simulator or an action game with mechs? Can I just pick it up and play?
Action game with mechs. No mech autism beyond the stat and part customization which changes how your AC handles.
Neat, I'll give it a try then. Probably won't go that deep into the mech designing though.
Have fun bud. Get into it as deep or as shallow as you want it is just a fun game.
Can you make it look like a Cyberbots robot?
Yes, you can, quite easily too
thats what i said, then i beat it 3 times rotation my build the whole time
>Probably won't go that deep into the mech designing though.
Uhhhh to put it in a simple way, you have access to your four weapons all at once(Right/Left Hand and Right/Left Shoulder). You can fly, and your QuickBoost is your dodge but it has no i-frames and is affected by your build weight+generator. Also always have melee it's good for punishing a staggered enemy.
you move and shoot
walter was right.
They call it coral because it is literally coral in design.
It's fine if you don't understand the story.
>the moron that thinks rolling the dice is for 1 ending and not the whole game is back
>seethes at lore posting
kek every time
I played the first game recently. I must say it has held up well. The ending was rather abrupt however. You’re obviously meant to replay it to get the true ending but I ain’t got time for that. Think I’ll play the third game next.
There's not other ending. Any replays are just to do missions you didn't choose last time. The only games with alternate endings are LR, FA, and 6
>LR, FA, and 6
Wait, really? That few?
And for FA, is there any ending aside from the old king meme ending?
>is there any ending that's locked behind NG+ aside from the old king meme ending?
*
Well...
There are a measly 3 endings and few non-crossover missions.
Last Raven has 6 endings + the secret boss you get from clearing all the missions. You first 3 runs can no repeat missions. Each mission is very short however, but if it's your first time playing some of them will take you a long time and stretch out the game
>You first 3 runs can no repeat missions
I need to go to bed. Can't believe I wrote this nonsense and hit "post"
Good night anon!
Oooh, flagrant fanboy thread is against the rules 🙂
>energy sword
>doesn't scale with energy weapon stat from your generator
>instead, it scales with your arm's melee stat
huh????????????
How does swining harder affect a literal weightless blade of light?
The arm swings faster, therefore also the blade attached to the arm.
Because that would be stupid and allow you to build for two things at once.
If you're looking for logic in this game it seems like you've missed a few other glaring points of contention.
balancing thing, I suppose
>melee attack uses your melee stat
wild shit.
Very much so. No wheels on the feet but you still skate around in boost mode.
attack uses your melee stat
Melee energy weapon. At first I also had a shot briliant though that if I'll take melee oriented arms and energy weapon boosting generator and my energy melee weapons will become OP. But nope.
Yeah a melee attack. It uses the melee stat as you'd assume.
attack uses your melee stat
when you swing you flashlight harder, does the light became brighter?
Yes. If you move a light wave it will produce more light compared to the wave that isn't being physcially moved around.
Light diffuses, so moving it's central wave is going to have it diffuse more.
can someone explain me from where the dafeng mascot meme even comes from
People that crosspost on /misc/. Read all the Defang part, they do paint a picture of what china is like in this setting and it's on the nose to how they are irl so the memes write themselves.
>internal combustion engines
>all the dakka
>shitty stats but overwhelms you in numbers
pretty sure baws is combustion too and i'm not sure arquebus isn't
They do but BAWS is strictly "old gen" tech comparatively so Defang using it en masse is part of their ethos of being shitty but overwhelming you in numbers.
Defang has a ton of character because of it. The mission to take out Michigan is to take out Balam (defang's parent company) and they send a million MTs to swarm you in numbers. It's their gimmick.
>Stout tree, slender branches
From what I've heard, it's an inside joke within the nip community, where Dafeng has a mascot that gets replaced every now and then.
My dick, any more questions?
>Vlcsnap-2015-06-02-16h29m(...).png (72 KB, 250x188)
GUN 13 WHAT ARE YOU DOING
Doing lazy google image searches on my phone, I just resaved calm down
Anons told me the nerfs weren't that big of a deal.
You could do that pre nerf too people just sucked and panicked.
The nerfs are nothing. Move your rolodex to your next shitpost topic.
Didn't the old game also have radiators or am I having a stroke? I remember having to manage my temperature in the ps2 games I think.
No they did have that.
https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/Radiator
only in 2nd and 3rd gen and even then it only really mattered in a couple of them and was pretty much ignored in the rest
Alright, well that just not true. But it was very good and im hoping they make more instead of letting the franchise collect dust for another decade.
Reminder that AC4, 4A, V, VD are in the same universe and the last boss of Verdict Day is White Glint.
>white glint
>he's black
fricking raceswapping
is biped kick supposed to suck ass? literally every other leg has good kick but not biped for some reason
kick dmg is based on weight , hitbox/tracking on type of leg
is its tracking supposed to be ass or i use them wrong? fricking impossible to hit shit with biped kicks and its no range and no tracking
ye its just shit , tetra's have a huge hitbox not sure bout tank/boat
Tanks can only make kick contact on the front bumper its awful but it does do a shit ton of damage
I've been attempting to emulate Catafract movement patterns when I play this beast
Upside to tanks is you don't have to kick if you don't want to. Ramming into stuff still takes an AP hit off them.
It's not that bad
It just other legs are better
Very impressive, are those needle guns?
Needle gun work really well to setup charged bunker
Not 100% but better than other option
I think the NG+/++ plot was cool and interesting, but it felt spread too thin between two more playthroughs. I understand why they did it so you'd get the two normal endings first, but I wish the early game changes were more substantial.
Honestly if they just did more minor, in mission changes like Sulla's fight having a sneak attack sniper gank, it would've elevated it a lot more.
