As someone who never really got into fighting games what game should I select to get good at? I was thinking guilty gear strive but im open to other suggestions. Very randomly I've been wanting to sink my teeth into a fighting game lately.

I recognize this bawd in those hentai
How is a real woman supposed to compete with this?
They have functioning body parts that exist.
so any ugly disgusting repulsive 200 lbs fatso will do because she has functioning body parts that exist?
They are inferior in every conceivable way. Just take the 2Dpill
They're not. It's completely different and the fact people genuinely seem unable to tell fiction from reality these days is both troubling and highly interesting, I can't wait to see the shitshow the world is going to be in a decade.
granblue is free and is as good or better than the paid ones
I'll look into that. Thank you for the suggestion.
She's from soul caliber, but she is indeed in plenty of hentai as well.
They dont.
Taki bouta grow a massive dick
Main Slayer in Rev. 2 then on May 30th you main Slayer in Strive.
Play SF6
Then on may 31st you go back to xrd because strive sucks lel
Street fighter 6 did interest me because of the crazy character creator but it seems very gay and black.
Character creator unfortunately is only for casual lobby fights where you can break your game with moves and stats and can't be played anywhere else / balanced.
You'll be able to find games still for Strive as it's finishing up its 3rd season and just about to start Season 4 (and it also has crossplay). What attracted you to it anyway? Personally I feel the colors are too washed out even if the animations are clean and much prefer the pace of the old games even if it's still easy to find things to dislike about the old games too.
Only play Strive if you're trans, you can't be good at it otherwise
>can only be good at a pretend fighting game if you're a pretend female
makes sense to me
Personal favorites are strive, granblue and kof15
Strive is good/easier for new players compared to previous entries and has a lot of people so no problem finding people to play with. Granblue is even friendlier to new players than strive, plus as someone already mentioned has a free trial in case you're not sure. You can even buy dlc characters with in game currency but you have to play a frickton. KOF15 would be the least recommended for new players because it's harder and requires legacy skill, I just really like the game myself and once you click with it, it becomes really really fun, but requires a lot of commitment.
Just pick whichever interests you for whatever reason. Bonus if the game is semi-big and has good online.
That's why I was asking. I was going to go with guilty gear strive but the game is a couple years old now so I wasn't sure if people still played it or not.
Anything that you can not only easily find players in but ideally players around your skill level. Just playing matches will do far more than labbing some discord fighter.
Just get ready to want to stick a gun in your mouth. God I fricking hate fighting games.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is the best fighting game ever made and still very active. I recommend it.
i need to frick an agpiggy bad
DOA5LR or DOA6 are easiest, and they are specifically for heterosexual men
Anyone want to play that one fighting game that has SMT demons in it?
strive's a decent choice since it's still real active, it's simple to get into and has a bunch of fresh blood especially after the slayer announcement.
Gbvsr has a free version so you could try that.
I'd suggest Tekken 8 since it's my main game but there's a whole lot of problems with it and you're better off waiting until you can get it for like 50% off.
Sf6 is in the same boat as the 1st but with even more people and being easier to understand. You might not like the visuals though.
Just make sure to focus on what you think looks cool though man.
Skullgirls because it is fun to play and mess around in.
If you want to try Strive, play Strive
Tekken is also fun
I hope SoulCalibur makes a comeback
There are still people playing sc6 on steam doe
>There are still people playing sc6 on steam doe
It's pretty dead, and it's delay based
I play it on occasion, but I stick to Tekken in the mean time, while praying for a proper SC7
>dead game with bad netcode, that is like 5$ durning each steam sale
>:(
>dead game after 3 weeks with bad netcode, that will release maybe in next few years and will cost 70$ plus tip
:O
bit of an older thread but I'll give my two cents
>play the game that you like the look of
>if you do need suggestions then any of the bigger titles (SF, Tekken, Strive) will be a good pick since there will be a bigger pool of players to go against
>for the most part you shouldn't listen to Ganker for advice/opinions on fighting games
>don't watch Max for insight on fighting game stuff, he's an entertainer. You'll get more insight and support a smaller creator if you watch someone more familiar with the game you're interested in
I started with BlazBlue and still like it. There's a lot of variety in the cast of each game and it's not too difficult to pick up imo
Tekken has a big playerbase and is scrub friendly (but still hard to master later), so it's a good one to start with.
Almost all modern fighting games are made for newcomers now, I think it's safe to just pick whatever you think looks cool. The only games I would actively avoid are Tekken and MK because it may not be obvious how shit they are till you gain more experience with the genre and they could give you a bad impression of fighting games as a whole.
The only games worth learning are Tekken and Street Fighter (mostly because they have the longest support and next games would play very similar)
SNK games are only for hispanics and anime fighters for turbo autists
turbo autists have the most fun
tekken and sf are both the slowest boomer shit for when you're too old to play something faster but not 60 yet so turn based games are too slow still
if both games are so slow then how come Animesloppers always get filtered when they try to compete in SF or Tekken?
animeslop doesn't teach or encourage any fundamentals and they die because they don't know what neutral is
tekken players basically only play tekken, there's very little crossover between it and other fighting games at the high level.
SF players that play only SF obviously do better at SF than people that only play SF on the side, but when they fight on neutral ground anime players win hard
An anime game is now neutral ground? Why is everyone fricking delusional about everything.
SnakeEyez won Shitve tournaments just to prove a point. I'm not sure what is the point of this image? Top 1 team has the best dbfz player ever and top2 has one of the best BB players along another one who does very well on different games.
Also Daigo did really well for the short time he played GG.
I've been having fun learning Kenshiro in HNK, the FKO system is so satisfying.
Literally built for baby making sex with black men.
