Why are they so intent on remaking 7th gen games now? It doesn't even make sense given how little graphics have evolved (everything is incremental rather than revolutionary now, 7th to 9th gen is a smaller jump than 6th to 7th).

Whether AC 1 should be remade is debatable. Black Flag? Lunacy just like TLoU remake or the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn remake (and that's an 8th gen title wtf...).
IMO the only 7th gen games ok to remake are those that disappointed a lot of people at the time of release. I can understand redoing Resident Evil 6 and turning it into something the fans truly want, for example. Or Dead Space 3.
