A few big games that released on Steam added the denuvo tag on launch day, seems like a common thing now
[...]
It's not on Steam anyway, so it doesn't matter
Not only do they add denuvo, they know they are morally in the wrong so now they try and hide it as much as possible and sneak it in last minute. It makes me sick, SICK!
>People who can't pirate it won't buy it
what a shocking revelation. Denuvo has been a plus if only because it reveals how poor the average gamer is lmao.
If I remember right there 2as some frickyness along these lines of hiding Denuvo from doom eternal as well and nothing came of it, this is on another level though.
Still it shouldn't be steams responsibility to punish this it should be the states.
sounds stupid to release game and add drm later. like what's the point. the non drm version is already in the hands of people
... so can't people just pirate the launch patch?
>needs to download day one patch for DRM >meaning hackers can just pirate the DRM free copy without the day one patch >this low move will just stir social media shit through word of mouth
what was the point in all of this?
the point of implementing denubo is making sure your game can't be copies but if you are selling them for separate, what's even the point?
>first patch adds denuvo
why
if the game was already released pirates already had their hands on it, no?
are they just trying to frick the paying customer? lol
yea but just don't apply the patch. maybe they forgot about it. many games have accidentally launched without drm and was patched in witth day 1 patch. or technically it's day 2 patch. because day 0 is planning, day 1 shit is when the game is in development. day 2 is when it's shipped and you patch it
preload has Denuvo, no Denuvo-less exe was ever available for download
reviewers have to sign some shit and their copy can be traced back I guess, so no way they're going to upload their copies to get raped in court.
Also the idea probably was to skip issues caused by denuvo being reported on the reviews.
I hope any of the reviews try the denuvo version and compare them.

Damn. You mean to tell me that the company that puts Denuvo on all their releases has also put Denuvo on the latest installment of a franchise tht has had Denuvo added to the last 3 games prior?
Who could have possibly seen this turn of events bros?

Deception. They're adding DRM with a first day patch because they know that a lot of people will not pre-order if they know it comes with Denuvo.
Another game recently did the exact same.
It is very scummy, because it shows they know people will choose not to buy it if it was included.

Lies of P is the game you're thinking, but they just surprise dropped the game with Denuvo day 0
I didn't pirate the last one, I wouldn't have pirated this one either.
I probably would've pirated this one.

You forgot your meds.
I hope steam allows people to refund for this

Does this mean that there's a non-Denuvo version available to crackers?
yes, and people of other races, too
Got me you bastard.
I'll allow it.
Jesus Fricking Christ sometimes you frickers are too good for this website hahaha
shame
good anon
bretty gud
preload has Denuvo, no Denuvo-less exe was ever available for download
I see, that makes more sense

>Ubisoft unironically implying I'd play a post AC3 Assassins Creed even for free
Okay but is it actually good?
>surprise
>every Ubisoft game has Denuvo
Funnily enough Empress loves the Assassin's Creed games so Mirage will get cracked really fast, making the whole exercise pointless.

they probably did something scummy and have an important file in the patch

>money stolen

How much longer is Ubisoft even going to last. It feels like everything they do under-performs or seems to set out to piss people off.
Everything except AC, it's why they are making so many games.
Until they kill it too.
What's the problem here? Even if you're a dummy that pre-ordered it, it's common sense to expect a AAA title to ship with it these days.
Just because it is standard doesn’t mean you can’t hate it all the same.
>What's the problem here?
Deception. They're adding DRM with a first day patch because they know that a lot of people will not pre-order if they know it comes with Denuvo.
It's a mainline entry in a core Ubisoft franchise. If you thought for even a second that it wouldn't have Denuvo, that's on you.
>mainline entry
it's a rejiggered DLC
I couldn't give less of a frick about how smart you think you are it's still deceptive advertising.
Where was it ever advertised as not having Denuvo?
If you're still buying ass creed games or ubisoft games in general, you deserve bad things
where is my girl empress??
>mastodon
not watching your cp collection
