As fun as programming for old consoles is there's a reason they got more powerful, the PSX has a single megabyte of vram of which 1/3 is already taken by the screen plus you can't just store textures wherever they have to be aligned in 256x256 pages, I'd rather just make a PC game with a similar aesthetic

Most of the games back then extended gameplay by being brutally hard. An expert could usually complete them in 10-30 minutes. What does that mean for this title?
My replacement Yars' Return cart works just fine and I got the swag that otherwise came with the deluxe edition for free as an apology. I was almost tempted not to send back the defective copy though, it made an oddly rad screech and funky glitch display.
This is cool but are they going to restock this version of the game or release it digitally in the future? The selling point of it being the first 2600 game in God knows when makes it seem like something that would be impossible to buy after like a week.
